August 2005 Just returned from week at Fishguard Bay and a fantastic heatwave bar the two morning wettings, but you cant have it all can you? This site has great facilities (showers, toilets, dishstuff you know the score), services kept reasonably clean considering the ongoing battle after the state people have left them in (on a few occasions). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful the shop well stocked and very convenient. Plenty on site for kids to do, nowt for adults really so take a book. Scenery great, flora and fauna abundunt, even birds of prey quartering the site! Saw dolphins in the bay. No access to any beach near enough to worry about though (shame) Bad access lane so take your time and cling to those passing places (I met the bin wagon and delivery lorry not funny)On the down side, continuous lawnmower man and strimming lady can and will do your head in, see if you notice! Beside that go there its really really great!!!!! Chris

June 2005 If you want a lively holiday camp site dont go here!!
If you want a great holiday park, very clean, well stocked shop and nice games room, great for families then go here.
We stayed here for a weekend with the kids and had a great time, it is well kept and maintained to a high standard. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. It does not have a club house so we made our own fun, the children played in the park and never got bored. I would highly recomend this campsite for families and we will definatley go back.

June 2004 Spent a week here in the summer, very nice site apart from the wind. I can not stress how windy this place was it really put a dampner on the week because the wind didn't let up for an entire week. It was so windy I had to tie the caravan to the floor.
It is in a wonderful location overlooking the Irish sea with great cliff top walks. If you are going here pray you do not meet anyone on the 1 mile of single track road down to the site or be prepared for a bit of caravan reversing... (Good luck)... Make sure you take a kite because your sure to use it........ showers, shop, laundry, games room. All o.k.

May 2003 Almost the only camper-perhaps I'm mad! Great site for coastal path, scenery & local coastal buses. Facilities were very good, I would return.

August 2003 Fabulous site - has to be the best we've ever been to! The setting is perfect, right on the coast path, and the amenities including loos and showers are absolutely spotless. You feel as though the owners have really made an effort to make your stay special in such a beautiful place. Cannot recommend highly enough, and if the owners read this - WELL DONE and THANKYOU!!

June 2003 I really like this campsite and have been back to it for the last 3 years. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The showers are clean and close enough for most of the pitches. The shop has loads of choice and is reasonably priced. The toilets were clean most of the time but the floors were a bit muddy at some times. This is a really nice place to go to get away and relax, the walks and scenary are worth seeing and there are a few nice pubs in Fishguard for roasts on Sundays. I will be going back again next year.

July 2002 Fishguard Bay campsite is high up on the cliffs overlooking Fishguard harbour where you can see the ferries docking and leaving for Ireland. The site was clean and tidy with level pitches for campervans and caravans. There are ample toilet facilities but I felt there could be more showers for the size of the camp(two M/two F).They were however clean and well maintained. There was a small games room with a pool table and the usual electronic games and a small play area for the kids. On a more cautionary note there are many areas where a small child could really be in danger along the spectacular cliff walk. Also a viewing platform on the site that overlooks the sea below. Due to the erosion of the cliffs there is no way down to the beach ,this requires a 45 minute walk. It doesn’t take you long to realize this was once some type of military establishment protecting Fishguard harbour. All in all a well maintained and friendly site with an amply stocked shop and spectacular views. Just keep an eye on the kids.
