We only started Caravanning last year and have been back for the third time.

This site is very clean and friendly.

We have two dogs and we love the walks by the Wyre which is next to this site.

Lovely position, close to the Wyre Estuary, Blackpool and surrounding areas. Great for walking and exploring.

The site is run by a very friendly helpful warden, mine of information.

Toilet and shower block is well kept, 30p for a lovely hot shower. Landry room with washer & dryer, good value.

Pitches generally level, hardstanding.

When we arrived. We found it to be mainly seasonal. With a few touring pitches. There is a field at the bottom end of the site for more tourers.

There is a water tap at the front of the toilet block and chemical waste to the rear. There is also a laundry room £4 for the washer.

The toilets and showers are open atm. The shower cost 30p for 2-3 minutes. We used our own facilities.

The site staff were very friendly and always on hand if you needed anything.

There is a bus stop 13 minutes walk from the site. Which we used to get to Fleetwood and back (£9 for 4 people all day hop on and off on any bus within that service provider) bargain!

The walking in this area is amazing it is always changing because of the tides.

Cleveleys is 3. 1 mile away and is a great place to while away the day.

Last minute booking, really friendly owner, the site is nice and clean,

Toilet and shower block really clean, showers only cost 30p and seems to last a long while and really warm,

Nice surroundings only 20/25mins from blackpool.

Great campsite and facilities. Location was great for some nice walks and the customer service was great.

We were allowed to use a campfire which was a great added bonus!

Very cute little campsite, not far away from countryside which is a lovely walk. We only came from bispham but we felt like we were in the middle of the country it was very idyllic.

Very easy set up, clean facilities and very accessible washing up/ water/ laundry usage.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend to anyone. My daughter's made lots of new friends and everyone was very warm and welcoming. Thank you!

Lovely site very well kept, had a very pleasant long weekend took grandchildren they loved it.

Very good, clean toilet and shower block, 30 pence for a shower lasted quite a long time water very pleasant temp.

Very clean washing up area with large sink, washing machine and dryer, plenty of hot water.

Caravan site is on slight slope but the field for the tents is quite flat well kept and very clean, pitches are large and you don't feel cramped, very nice walks, dogs are welcome would recommend this site.

As a local I have Been visiting a couple of times a year with my son now 7 (the back garden doesn't shout adventure). The owner is lovely and friendly alays fin ding u's space at shot notice.

The site is well kept with the toilet/shower block just revamped. There used to be a small park on site but there is another down the track so no big issue.

There is a basic shop. It's quiet, safe and you may as well be miles away from civilisation with the trees and animals in feilds that line the camping area and the river a 2 minute walk away.

Rates are fair. Many happy memories had and to come.

We booked 5 Pitches for Easter as a group of families.

Arrived Thursday and was shown to the bottom field, all our pitches were on Grass. I was then warned not to drive on the grass as it was very soft. Remainder of the groups arrived Friday and we had to push their Caravans into place

Friday was good weather so no problems.

Next day, Saturday, then the problems started. Firstly, Microwave would not cook anything, thought it was broken. Then low wattage kettle took about 30 minutes to boil instead of the usual 10. Then I realised we were on some sort of reduced power. I've never encountered this before on any site.

Went out for the day and upon our return found water running down the campsite and through my awning. This meant it was un-usable for the remainder of the weekend. Everytime it rained, the water would flow through the awning. Our whole Pitch turned into a Mudbath for the remainder of the weekend.

Sunday night at approx 6pm the Electric on all our pitches went off. Reported it to the owner who did get it back on for about an hour before going off again. We were then told there was nothing they could do.

Very disappointed at the fact they knew the ground was flooded and still let us on the pitches. When we looked up this site the pictures showed Hard Standing, but these all seemed to be full of Seasonal Tourers.

Unfortunately these problems outweigh the good points which are:

Toilet block spotless, showers 30p tokens (Not a problem for me)

Great location.
