We took two tents together with my brother, sister in law, mother, 4 year old nephew, their 7 month old beagle and my 7 year old daughter. We couldn't fault the site.
There were only 2 other tents on the pitch so there was plenty of room for the kids to play.
There was an outdoor play area just off the site, about a 5 minute walk, along with a little outdoor cafe which did great breakfast butties and then later, ice cream.
We also took a Kayak and was pleased that there was a place to moor this, just opposite the cafe.
Great place for beautiful dog walks too!
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would return to this specific site again if we were to camp in this area in the future.

Absolutely fantastic holiday.
The staff are friendly, the site is clean and we had a nice relaxing time while the kids made loads of friends and I felt comfortable knowing they were safe.
Would 100% recommend.

Well priced and a clean & well maintained site.
Easy to find & a short drive from Cleveleys, Fleetwood & Blackpool.
No complaints for £16 a night to pitch a tent & park up for the night!

The site is in a great location, in the estuary country park, close to Blackpool and the Fylde coast.
Doreen is lovely and is on hand to help or assist any way she can. The only thing that I could complain about would be the pylons that run over head - quite noisy and a bit ugly.
But soon enough you get used to them. The site is very well maintained.
There are stables next door to the site - which my daughter loved.
Although we had intention of travelling further afield, we found that there was enough in the locality to keep the kids entertained.
We will definitely return.

The site manager was very nice and welcoming The toilet and shower facilities were adequate.
The tent field was fine and the pitch reasonably level.
Not the sites fault but a yapping dog in a motorhome spoilt our first few hours and when the owner of the dog was informed that the dog distressed they gave an negative response.
The electrical pylon in the field was a tad off putting.

Stayed with my family and paid for 2 tent pitches but on arrival we were given one and a half pitch size, then on the 2nd night, the manager came and said we had only paid for one electric port when I paid and was using 2. She was quite rude.
The toilet block was ok but the toilet bowls were very dirty. She the manager sat outside her caravan sunbathing rather than cleaning the site.
We were told to be off the site by noon on departure day, but the next campers using 3 pitches arrived at 11. 15 am and began to erect their tents.
The whole visit was ruined by her attitude to running a site. Belmont campsite was a whole lot cleaner and well run too. A shame. Debby.
