This is a fantastic caravan site. We stayed here at the start of a three-week trip around Scotland. It was the best site we stayed at for that whole trip. Our pitch had beautiful views across the estuary. The site facilities are fantastic and everybody there was very friendly. The site caters for children really well. We will certainly go back.

I camped at Queensberry Bay in June and found the facilities to be first class, the best I have seen in more than 40 years of camping.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and kids will love the vast assortment of emus, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, rabbits goats and other animals.
Apart from the impeccable toilet facilities the site has a campers' kitchen, laundry room spa and a small shop in reception that sells delicious bacon rolls.
There is a large Tescos in Annan, about 4 miles up the road.
Unfortunately it was wet and windy when I was there, but that applied to most sites in June this year. It was a great test for my new tent so I did not mind the weather, I will almost certainly be returning again.

Amazing.
Toilet/shower block was clean, hot water and modern - showers cost £1, but worth it.
The shop is stocked with essentials, and was ideal and open till 9pm when we were there.
On site there is a pets corner, which I think the adults liked as much as the kids! The lama's and alpacas made my day! the next morning a line of ducks went past. Lovely
Our pitch was a good size, located on grass. Nice location - in bad weather I could imagine it may be open to the element being right on the coast, but it was nice when we were there.
Staff were very helpful. I was impressed by the cost of this site, will definitely book again - it was a good £2-3 cheaper than others even taking into account the shower cost.
Note there is a refundable £20 for the key

Love this campsite - luckily we had beautiful weather if a bit windy but I can imagine it to be a bit nasty in bad weather what with being on the coast.
Very clean site, toilets and showers have shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. They cost £1 but they are definitely worth it.
£20 deposit for a key tag allowing only guests to use facilities.
Will certainly stay there again when next in the area

The touring aspect of Queensberry Bay forms a minor part of a much larger static caravan park, but the two are separated so this is not immediately obvious.
The owners and staff are all very friendly and accommodating and the site offers really good value for money.
The toilet block is rather posh by camping standards and always immaculate. It did however seem rather strange to discover the facilities closed for cleaning mid-morning, and having to share the access key fob was something of a pain.
The washing up area doubles up as a highly equipped campers' kitchen that has tables and chairs along with various electrical appliances available, including a microwave oven and a hot drinks machine.
The elsan disposal falls within a self contained room, replete with hand washing facilities, which was a really nice touch.
Outside, there was a dog bath, which would be ideal if you've walked your hound along the adjacent foreshore. We never spotted any the aforementioned dog fouling during our visit.
Reception contains a licensed shop, which sells all the essentials and is not expensive. Larger shops and takeaways are located not far away at nearby Annan.
WiFi is available, and has recently been upgraded in an effort to improve reception.
There is lots of bird life to watch on the foreshore, and we were particularly intrigued by a barn owl that hunted throughout the day.
Across the bay you can see north Cumbria and the Lake District along with the group of tall antennae at the Anthorn Radio Station.
We will be returning to Queensberry Bay again soon.

Great site! Great views of the sea and beach from your pitch. Very clean and tidy. There was even a dog wash! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very reasonably priced for a pitch with a great view and electric.
There was a shop there for all your essentials and a spa, but we didn't have time to use it and it had a great array of animals. Our favourite was the pig who seemed to be quite a character! We also liked the tunnels that the guinea pigs had between their different runs and their smart house.
Well worth a visit whether you have kids or not. We will be definitely returning next year on our way up to the highlands.

Outstanding location on the Solway Estuary and pitched right on the shoreline. Awning warning, maybe not a full size one if its high tide season as the winds do whip up. Site is very clean and well maintained with a well stocked shop at reception. Showers were charge-able, a nominal amount albeit, but well worth the money. A very roomy wet room awaits with the nice touch of toiletries being supplied and music piped through. The animals around the site have mainly been rescued, we met a lovely donkey, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, llama (or were they alpaca??). We were disappointed in the lack of dog friendly pubs, we could find non within walking distance and Annan was a car drive away with a good butchers but the town itself looked tired. The river walk was very enjoyable though. Very easily located from motorway networks and surrounded by beautiful countryside and the estuary.

Fantastic site, great value for money, definitely would recommend. Booked in one night and stayed for three and returned for another two at the end of our holiday. Site was very quiet, well laid out and exceptionally clean in all areas.
The campers kitchen is a big plus in inclement weather. Staff were very helpful especially when my husband locked the keys in the camper van, don't ask! We had a field site pitch with electric hook-up and it was lovely having the animals trotting by and also stopping for a carrot or two! We tried the Spa it was superb and very relaxing.
Well done to all staff for making this the best site we have stayed on, we'll be back (especially now as my husband realises how near it is to the golf course).

We visited this beautiful site in august and were lucky enough to get a pitch with sea views, which are amazing and tranquil, the nights stars are definitely something to spend time watching as you can see for miles on a clear night.
With regard to the site I have no complaints at all, the staff in the reception are very friendly and helpful, they told me everything I needed to know. The reception also has a small shop selling the essentials and the bacon rolls are really worth trying! The shower block is one of the best I have seen, clean, warm and wow the showers are good, very invigorating, I didn't mind paying the pound, (i actually spent two because they were so good hehe). They come with complimentary soap, shampoo etc from a dispenser which you don't often find. My partner was amazed at the ladies side which has a nice leather sofa and hairdressing area as well. There is a campers kitchen attached to the shower block with a microwave and sink, this was also kept very clean and had what we needed for a light supper.
The site itself is very quiet, it was quite busy when we were there and everyone was friendly and chatty, including the animals, of which you must remember to buy some ginger nuts in the shop for the donkeys as they become your new best friend! There are a few animals around, including horses, emus, alpacas, sheep rabbits, guinea pigs and goats who like to escape and watch you from the garden wall! I have seen on other reviews that there was dog mess, I didn't see any and we did walk round the site a few times, the overall cleanliness was good, no mess anywhere.
I would definitely return here for a break, the spa looks very tempting boasting a hot tub, sauna and pool, they do offer a pampering special of which my partner will be trying on our next visit!
Cant wait to come back!
