After staying at Trevedra many times and after reading the previous review I am horrified to what people have said. There are plenty of toilets over the whole site, I would imagine over 30. The grass is cut daily and although at times it does get muddy what do you expect camping in England. It does rain! The toilets are cleaned at least twice daily but I have seen more and the main thing I like is there is always loo roll and plenty of hot showers! I have recently stayed in bude where I paid more money for a site that didn't even have a footpath walk, it was on the main road, we had to use the car to get anywhere, I would happily return to trevedra any day of the year, I just wish they were open all year round.
The new shop, cafe and reception area has made a huge improvement, we did used to enjoy the van but it now means we can eat our dinner in the warm cafe or take it away. The staff are always friendly, willing to help and will go out of their way to ensure you are happy. We have and always will return to trevedra and look forward to seeing the continuing improvements

We have been coming here for the last 4 years now and camp in the Gwynver camping field nearest the beach path, 1 of 3 fields.
Whilst the campsite is very popular it hasn't changed for the better in the last 4 years we have been coming.
I just wish they'd have spent as much money on the toilet and showering areas as they did the 'office / shop / cafe with large screen tv'.
Whilst the toilets and showers at the office end of the park are adequate, they are not cleaned often enough and in the only 2 times I visited them although my son and his girlfriend used them every day, they were strewn with loo roll and on wetter days could do with mopping much more often, with clean water preferably with disinfectant in.
The lower toilets at the entrance to Gwynver field were a down right disgrace!
Very muddy and wet comes to mind and having to wade through the mud in sandals as it's squelching between your toes, before going to the loo for the ladies on wet days should not be allowed to happen.
The amount of profit you make Trevedra, I'm sure you could have found enough money to buy a tonne of gravel to lay there, as it has got gradually worse over the few years we have been coming.
There are also a few people being too loud and the odd vehicles driving through camp after 10pm, some after 11pm.
And one morning we woke up to find a man that moved into pitch 9 stood outside his tent and urinated against no:10's pitch post and the loo's were just 60-70metres away, disgusting!
For the 2nd year running we have used your launderette and whilst the washing machines are reasonably good the driers once again after putting in £2 of 20p's didn't dry a 1/2 load of a family wash, so gave up and we ended up drying/airing them off in the tent, not ideal when restricted to room.
Trevedra, you don't cut the grass often enough, even though it is sometimes wet. We saw a young lad only do it once the whole time we were there 10 days and he only did a few plots in our field, on the drier days which we had a few, these could be cut including on the grassy drive through areas. And tents too often place there guide ropes over their plot and onto the grassy drive throughs, as we had to move some just to get our car out.
The other thing that is annoying is the fact you have put your prices up comparable to those with a swimming pool and beach access, but your site is much below that grade and my teenage school/college 'kids' wouldn't have been charged as adults at 2 of the other sites we considered. The only reason we chose you this year was to get the days we needed, which is probably the best thing about your site, which is booking a pitch in advance and by the day.
The other good points on your site are accepting dogs, beach access, bus service at end of farm drive and the pitches being free draining even in heavy rain and a good firm pegging ground.
And please note as from next year the camping pitches are not allowing tents which do not fit 6mx6m.
Finally, sadly for us unless Trevedra sort out the loo issues, grass cutting, launderette driers and be a bit more strict on their night-time quietness policies, I cannot see us returning again, which is a real shame.
This site would be lovely and brilliant place to come if there were more emphasis on customer care and satisfaction.

We have visited Trevedra a number of times at varying times of the year. The location is excellent with sea views and it is possible to walk to the beach directly from the site although bit of a pull up the steps coming back, but worth it. Also can walk to Sennen via coastal path.
The showers and loos are unglamorous but very clean and wholesome and always plenty of hot water and plenty of them. Grey water and chemical waste disposal is easily accessible as are drinking water taps. There are wet suit washing facilities, laundry, freezer and good washing up provision. The site has a shop with general essentials and a cafe.
The site is level and pitches a good size. In the summer when it is very full with surfers it is remarkably quiet and we have never experienced any excessive noise or trouble even with hundreds (probably) of young people.
It is family run site within a working farm. They are helpful and friendly, The site is well organised particularly when it is full with clearly roped off areas for surfers tents, and grass is kept short We don't need it but I know that wi fi is available and a laptop charging service.
The charges are reasonable and good value for money.
We will be visiting this September and expect to use this site over and over.

We selected this site as we were travelling from St Austell to a performance at the Minack Theatre and needed somewhere reasonably close by to pitch for 1 night. We therefore did not sample the beach or walks from the site.
The staff at reception were helpful and whilst we did not use the modern cafe/ shop, many people appeared to. Facilities were a little basic abd centrally located near to the reception building which was OK for us as we weren't too far away but I could imagine it being difficult for others pitching further away.
This is a very large site. Whilst we were there, it was very busy and felt very cramped. The state of the facilities also reflected the number of people using them. It wasn't our favourite of the 4 we used during the week but it was OK for our needs.

This was our third stay at this site.
It is quite a big site being part Caravan Club and part not. They also admit tents.
We already knew where we wanted to be so booked early and had a pitch down the bottom. Pitched back to front and sat looking out over the bay.
Wendy and John are fairly relaxed and try their best to make sure you have a good stay. Whilst they don't have loads of rules they do enforce the few there are. (late night noise)
They do expect parents to be responsible for their own children, bit radical but a good idea.
The facilities are basic but clean. There were plenty of people there but we had no problems getting in the showers in the morning.
There is a shop and cafe which seemed popular.
They do have a large field in which kids can run wild, unfortunately some people use it to dog walk.
This is a lovely area with too much to do to list here but there is an information point with the usual leaflets. The staff are always willing to help and advise.
There is a farmer's market on Tuesday at Sennen which is well worth a visit. Superb artisan bread, smoked fish, local veg and very good cakes.
Do take the 300 open topped bus around the peninsular. This is a smashing ride and you can break you journey and rejoin later. If you get the first bus out about 9. 30am you can stay in St Ives and come back late afternoon.
If you have kids you can walk to the beach from the site.
There is loads of walking to do here from the site.
All in all this is a good site to be at and we shall return.
You can even hear the sealions at night.

Stunning location, wouldn't go back if you paid me.
This is by far the worst campsite I've ever visited, I've been to quieter, cleaner rock festivals!
The site appeared to have the sole objective of cramming as many people in as possible with the sole objective of making money.
Toilets were disgusting to the point of making me gag, 9 showers for 5 camping fields! Appalling.
How this site ever achieved caravan club status I don't know.
I learned a valuable lesson, have a good look round before paying up front.
Unless you are 18 and looking to party, avoid this like the plague.

Location itself was great and within walking distance from a great beach. It's situated just off the main road, so very easy to find.
Facilities, I'd describe as average. A bit messy at times, but I can appreciate that this happens quickly with so many people. The secondary block of toilets became really quite dirty, so best to use the main block near reception. Showers were good and hot.
This is a busy one though and it's the most packed site I've ever been to. Personally, not my cup of tea and I would have found a quieter site if I had known it would have been like that. Had no problems with the other campers, I just personally prefer a different atmosphere, but that's just me. Surprisingly, it was really very quiet during the night.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Fabulous place - we booked late so ended up in the overspill field Brea Vean - which was actually very lucky and it was more spacious than the main site and quite unique in that we could pitch wherever we liked.
You can see the sea from this site but cannot access it. This was OK for us though because with three young children it was easier to park right next to the beach in Sennen Cove - which is only a 5 minute drive.
You can also park in the main campsite and walk down the cliff to the beach if you prefer. Facilities were good - great hot showers and hairdryer.
The staff were very friendly and there was a van that came round in the morning with supplies from the main campsite if you wanted them. Great spot to watch the fireworks at Lands End on a Tuesday and Thursday night.
There is so much to do at this end of Cornwall that despite being there for two weeks we didn't manage to see everything - would definitely go back and would use this site again without hesitation.

We went in the summer holidays and booked late so were not on the main site but at Brea Vean. In many respects this is a separate campsite being a good mile and half away from the main site. So, you don't get the perks of being able to walk directly to the amazing beach from your tent. You have to drive down (as there is no direct path from Brea Vean) and park at Trevedra, or the shop and cafe (which does good breakfasts).
Saying that it was a lot more spacious where we were (they're pretty packed in at Trevedra) and I liked the atmosphere more. And a van comes up in the morning selling breakfast foods, bread, bacon, eggs, croissants etc. And you can order a paper.
I felt that the facilities were good and clean. Nice free hot showers and hair dryer. They also had a fridge and freezer that everyone can use. Be aware to label your stuff though, especially ice packs.
They also have laundry facilities.
I liked it here and if I was ever to return might prefer to stay at Brea Vean than the main site.

We stopped at the Brea Vean site, which we were told was not advertised and they were careful regarding who went on this site.
Our experience was mixed, due to varying factors.
The location itself is good, being a mile away from Trevedra, we had our own facilities for showers / toilets / washing up but we could also use those at Trevedra and park to go to the beach.
The facilities themselves were basic and appeared to be cleaned on a regular basis a couple of times a day.
There were no rules for Brea Vean, it was pretty much camp where you wish. On the first night this was fine, there were limited amount of people in the field. Over the course of the following 2-3 days however, we were suddenly surrounded by a Carry On Camping scenario. We went out for the day and come back to another couple of families, who knew each other, boxing our tent in.
The tent behind ours was pretty much touching our guy ropes and there was a couple to the side. We could not park our car at the back or side of the tent.
In my opinion the site wasn't monitored for who it allowed on - as there were groups on there also. There were 4 showers and toilets for each sex and at a couple of points the site was full, meaning there must have been 100 people to 4 toilets. There was a bit of queuing in peak times.
The plus side is that, luckily, the site was quiet at night (with the exception of the chatter we could clearly hear from our close neighbours), but after 10. 30pm it generally became quiet.
If you don't mind camping in close proximity and want something quiet, this site is cheap and could be a good choice. There is ample space for kids in the centre of the field - even when 4 tents had pitched there. Trevedra Farm itself looked very cramped as we walked through.
They could do with installing one rule for Brea Vean - and that is to pitch with at least a car's width away from each other - then we could block out some noise.
