Just got back from 4 nights at Trevedra Farm and key points noted were:
Great location close to coastal path, unspoiled beach, popular with surfers. Enjoyable walk to Sennen or Lands End, good for dogs Staff very friendly and helpful with convenient shop. Fantastic sunsets
Toilets basic and clean and free, no problems, thankfully free of bars, restaurants, swimming pools and 'entertainment'
We will return if we go back to the 'far southwest'

This is the second time we have visited Trevedra, the site is very well located for the gwenver beach, its just a 10 minute walk down the coastal path, just be aware its up hill all the way back!
We stayed in the family tent field, the pitch sizes are reasonable about 9 mtrs, it can feel a little crowded at times as your not charged per tent, so you tend to get a lot of families with pup tents.
Shower block is adequate on some occasions the water can be cold or the pressure is insufficient to get you wet but this was only on a very few occasions.
I like Trevedra the staff are friendly and helpful, its great value, its clean, its close to the beach and while we where there the sun was shining and you could smell the bacon cooking in the morning ! we will be back next year

Just got back from 8 days at Trevedra which at times were very wet. But despite the weather had a great time, when it rained just stayed in bed. Found the level of facilities just right, the staff friendly helpful and relaxed but still obviously in control. The atmosphere around the site was always happy, lively and friendly just people enjoying themselves. But above all this, is the location, which must be unequaled in this country. The sunsets we got to see were breath taking, can't wait to go back, thanks, despite the weather for a great week.

My family and I have just returned from a week at Trevedra Farm. This was our second stay at this campsite. The first time we stayed was two years ago, and both times we have had a wonderful time. Both times we have stayed in the top quieter field. The shower block in this field is clean and perfectly adequate, although the showers could have been a touch warmer and a touch less fierce. It's tricky to keep your clothes dry unless you leave them outside the cubicle! There were some very friendly little birds nesting in the rafters of the shower block, which our children found fascinating. The laundry facilities are good too. Fast efficient washers and driers were much appreciated. (four children inevitably means some laundry even on holiday!) Gwenver beach nearby is just stunning. The cliff path can be quite daunting (especially on the way up!) but we managed it with our four children aged from 23mths up to 11 years. We found this campsite a great base from which to explore Cornwall. No doubt we will be back!

Trevedra was the most laid back site I have ever been on. My wife went with her parents in a caravan in the 1980s - and she just couldn't wait to return. The site was busy, but it was July, so that is expected. We pitched our tent on the upper field, next to the lane. This was, it seemed the quieter field, as the field with the sea view was packed with surfers - it gave the impression it could be quite noisy on this field, but we experienced no problems. We walked down to the beach from the site - it is an energetic walk, but well worth it - the sunset on the return was just fantastic. Toilets and showers were OK, the small toilet block on the upper field was less crowded and I was able to get a shower without queing. The site was a level pitch and we especially liked the visiting catering van that comes along to serve food etc. I am unable to comment on the staff, as the 4 days we were there we never saw them. But I would certainly return to Trevedra - a very friendly atmospheric site - Thank you.

Just returned from 15 nights on this site. Very friendly and helpful staff.Reasonably priced with free showers which were plentiful and without queues even in the middle of August. We were in the lower field in our Diablo 900 and found it a really tight sqeeze with little space for the kids to run around. The top field looked fantastic and really spacious and quiet but without EHU. Most of the campers in our field were friendly well behaved teenage surfers who were having the time of their life and no doubt would never dream of camping anywhere else as they had everything they could possibly wish for on a site - very short walk to really good surfers beach, plentiful hot showers, burger/ pizza van on site, well stocked shop, lively atmosphere with beautiful male and female surfers barbecueing and jamming every night. I enjoyed our stay but will probably not return until our kids are teenagers themselves.

I've camped at Trevedra numerous times over the last seven years. I spent five days at this campsite during July 06. It has an excellent location, good facilities and helpful owners. But this campsite is changing and I don't know if I'll be returning again. Beware that this campsite is becoming very crowded and extremely noisy at night (i mean noisy until 3am). I was kept awake even with ear plugs. Also be aware that when people have been drinking alcohol that politely asking them to quiet down may have an adverse effect. The owners informed me that they have started to take 'financial bonds' from groups as a noise deterrent (e.g. If you're noisy you don't get the bond back). But evidently this does not seem to be working. The fields for caravans were not noisy so if you have one of these you should be ok. On the positive side Trevedra now have another field some distance from the main site but it does not have access to the sea or the same views. If the plan is to make the new a field a 'non-group' quieter field then this might be a solution.

We went to Trevedra having made an initial enquiry with the vastly overpriced Tristram site at Polzeath who wanted the total of £80 for my wife and I in our camper and two 15 year old boys in a pup tent, off site by 10am Sunday and 50p for a shower. OK, so with that in mind we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Trevedra on Friday evening, we had a nice large pitch with electricity, there was no problem with the pup tent and we were charged £16 per night for all of us, free showers and the very helpful staff arranged for us to stay later on Sunday which we did. Prices on site were very reasonable indeed both in the shop and at the takeaway open morning and evening. The site itself is clean and well maintained and only a five minute walk (fifteen coming back!) to Gwenver, a beautiful surfing beach with no takeways, pubs, blaring music (bliss!). I would heartily recommend this site, and Tristram should take note!

Great place - the owner was friendly but kept control - making sure we did not use more than our 'pitch' but also making the groups of Cornish teenagers clear up their site in the morning and keeping noise down. The shop on site is good and the available snacks very useful if all you want to do is surf and sunbathe. The showers are OK but when it gets crowded there maybe long queues. The nearest beach (a stiff climb down a near vertical cliff) takes dogs and is big and full of interesting pools etc when the tide is low. At low tide you can walk to the more commercial part of Sennen - dogs not allowed on beach etc- where there is good food and beer. This part of Cornwall is really special and this campsite is special too.

We first stayed at Trevedra Farm August 2003 & went back August 2005. Love this site one of the best we've been to. Staff are friendly and helpful, plenty of space for larger tents. Facilities are good with a couple of family shower rooms. Good shop on site. Burger van on the site and a Pizza van once or twice a week also. Gwenver beach in a 5/10 minute walk across the fields - fantastic sunsets! Sennen beach 5 min. car ride away has facilities and beach cafe etc. Short distance to Lands End and Porthcurno and Porth Chapel are top beaches on opposite coast. Local shops and pubs available in Sennen and Penzance is the closest town. Prices are excellent, always good to book ahead.
