We stayed for 6 nights, first week of the school summer holidays. Although there were several fields, tents did seem to be crammed in more than at any other site we've been to.
We had a large family tent and were unable to also fit the car within our allocated pitch. Having said that we were in the field closest to the sea and had superb views, when it wasn't misty! Apparently this area is known for it's mists!
Plenty of showers and loos which were clean. Never had to queue. Likewise with washing up areas. Chest freezer for ice blocks, label/bag them wisely as it is full to the brim with ice blocks, which all look the same!
Cafe and shop on site for essentials.
Across two fields and a country lane is the path to the beach. It is steep and a killer on the way back up when carrying all your beach gear. The beach is lovely though, with lifeguards, rockpools at low tide and access to the coast path.
I would probably try a different area of Cornwall next time as when the mist came it lingered for days, but really can't fault this site. Access to a beach is our priority and this certainly ticks this box, even if it is a trek back up.

This site is in a great location. It was the first time we used a site not exclusive to caravan and camping club.
The site was alright apart from the toilets. There was a lack of cleaning as our stay got longer the toilet block got dirtier. It is hoses through but unfortunately there is little or no other cleaning.
Signs asking people to clean up after themselves would be a good idea here. The sinks were full of hairs, the paper towel and soap dispensers were dirty too. As were the sinks and taps. Constant smell of sanitary wear too. I had to clean a toilet and sink before using.
Also it stated that tents were not allowed in the caravan club field(there were 4). Also swearing children in the next field were not a welcome addition to our stay.
We will visit the location again but not this site as cleanliness put us off

This site is part Caravan Club, part not, part caravans and part tents. It's easily accessible at the end of the A30.
The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help you have a good holiday. They let us change our booked pitch for one we liked better. Never any problem if you need help. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
The site is well kept and clean but with some character, not sterile like some. The toilet/shower block is basic but kept extremely clean.
Pitch sizes seemed ok. We fitted caravan, awning and car on ours without trouble.
The site wasn't full but I expect it would be busier in full season.
Nice little cafe/restaurant next to reception and a big field for the kids to run around in. There is a path to the beach, bit of a climb but I'm old and I managed.
However the greatest thing about this site is it's location, unbeatable. Most mornings I was up, showered and sitting outside eating my porridge by 7am looking out across the bay. Beautiful.
Buses run by the gate and a 300 open topped bus does a round trip around the peninsular for £7 which we thought was cheap. We caught the first bus and broke the journey at St. Ives and finished the journey later.
There are walks across the cliffs to Sennen Cove then back along the beach and Cape Cornwall then bus back from St Just. Penzance is just up the road.
I'm quite taken with this site, mainly because it is what I think caravanning/camping is about.
You can even hear the sealions at night.

Very easy to find site down a narrow lane.
Very friendly staff at reception, which is part shop and part cafeteria. You can get all basic supplies and papers.
Pitches are large and although on grass they are level.
Water is situated in tasteful brick built enclosures.
The cafe has good meals and although service is slow, it is well priced and tasty. The surroundings are clean and light with some easy chairs as well as formal sitting.
The toilets are clean and functional, with free showers and a hairdryer.
The walk to the beach is good if you are able bodied. The beach below the site is dog friendly but the one at Sennen is not. There is a dog walk to the rear of the site which is in a large field.
There are fish and chip shops at Sennen and this is accessible from the site via a footpath or the road, the latter which is very steep.
There is a bus service from Sennen (open top), which goes in a large circuit to Penzance and St Ives. We got the bus to Porthcurno and walked back along the coast path via Lands End. The Minack Theatre is at Porthcurno and is open for performances Mon-Fri.
This is a first rate site, mainly due to the staff, though location helps a lot. We will certainly go again, but probably not in high season.

We stayed at this campsite for 2 nights after Easter weekend. The campsite was easy to find and is close to the coastal path. Access to the beach is down a very steep path, it was too steep for me, I turned back and drove to Sennen Cove, which is lovely.
The site is split into several fields, so although it is a fairly big site it didn't feel too big, the toilet/shower block was nice and clean.
We used the on site cafe once for breakfast, the service was very slow but I think this was due to a new member of staff just started at the start of the season, no complaints of the food.
I would stay here again.

We went to this site because our sister in law went often as a child and said how wonderful it was, we now agree with her and will be keen to return.
The site is fairly large, with at least four fields joined together plus an overflow field nearby.
There are three sets of toilet blocks which were cleaned and restocked often. We were in the top field, furthest away from the sea, our toilet block had three ladies loos and showers, plus three loos and two showers for the men. The shower was always lovely and hot when I used it.
Outside of the block but with a bit of cover was the washing up area, the water for this was so hot I had to add cold water as well as using rubber gloves!
There is a well stocked shop that is due to be rebuilt this winter, they even sold hot pasties. Morning and evening, the permanent fish and chip van was open, selling as well as fish and chips, jacket potatoes and hot drinks among other things.
There is no play equipment but there is an empty field for you to use. Bikes are not really allowed, especially around the entrance, this is a working farm. Only one car per pitch, there is a carpark for other cars. All the staff were really friendly, they even put up an updated weather forecast for you in the shop.
However, the best thing for us about this site is the location, we were able to walk through the site, across the road and down a steep footpath to the most amazing beach. This beach is lifeguarded and apart from high tide, is always good for surfing/body boarding. The walk from our tent was about 15 minutes down but quite a bit longer coming back as the steps are really steep.
We walked from 'our' beach to Sennen Cove, a pretty village, also we walked along the cliff path to Lands End about two miles each way. We were not that impressed with Lands End but the views on the way were amazing.
We had surf lessons at Sennen, our two older boys both standing up on their first lesson, I however will never be a surfer!
We drove to St. Just, a lovely inland village with a co-op and various local shops, including a fab cafe called Tegan Keg.
Everyone on this site seems just so relaxed, no silly rules about whether you can put up a washing line etc and when my brother and partner joined us for a few days, they were allowed to pitch their pup tent on our pitch. It was really interesting seeing other peoples tents, we even watched a yurt being built. This is a site where everyone is welcome.
The site is quite exposed as it is above and near the sea, but pitch your tent carefully and you should be fine!
A really good site to which I look forward to returning to.

A lovely set back off the road down a surfaced track campsite and within only 150yds to beach. A real gem. You can book in advance too.
Campsite is on a cow farm consisting of several fields for which some are for tourers and tents.
Theres direct view of sea from campsite in Gwenver field and others of the sunsets into sea too.
Friendly staff at reception where there's a shop and cafe/community room in evening for campers. Sometimes hold fates for local causes.
Takeaway van open daily.
Showers are well used and warm, toilets in each area are cleaned daily.
Pitches are reasonable size some EHU and some basic non-EHU.
Plenty of walks nearby plus the novelty of waking and seeing the animals when having breakfast.

Lovely site, in idyllic location. Ideal for surfers as its a short walk down the hill to Gwynvor, or a bit further along the coastal path to Sennen cove (or paddle round at low tide). Beautiful beach, with clear green/blue waters. Ideal location for access to the coastal paths, we went for some lovely runs round Lands End.
The campsite shop has a great selection of locally sourced meat, ideal for BBQ, recommend their minted lamb, delicious. The site owners are friendly and helpful.
If you you want to walk at night to Sennen cove, I would recommend taking a torch and walking along the network of footpaths, rather than the road as the A30 at night is rather scary on foot.
The toilets and showers are clean, but not very luxurious. Would certainly stay there again. Sitting in a nice relaxed campsite with a mug of wine watching the sun set into the Atlantic is grand.
Nearest supermarket is Tesco in Penzance. Nearest pub, The old Success in Sennen cove.

This was my partners first venture into camping, never having slept in a tent in her life before. On arrival we were greeted by friendly smiling staff and checking in couldn`t have been simpler. The staff were always very Cheerful and helpful (even lending us a camping chair for the week free of charge, as I broke one of ours)
The facilities at Trevedra are excellent, the shower and toilet blocks were always very clean, there was always plenty of hot water, and the showers were excellent. Even though the campsite was at maximum capacity most of the week we never had to queue for showers, the only time we had to wait a few minutes was when they were being cleaned.
The on site shop caters well for most needs and the on site food van provided good breakfasts and evening meals if you wanted them. There is a strict ruling of no noise after 11.00pm and everyone seemed to respect this and the site was generally quiet by 10.30pm.
There is a pathway from the site down to the lovely quiet beach, great going down, but not so much fun coming back up as it is uphill all the way.
We will definitely be going back to Trevedra and would have no hesitation in recommending the site to friends and family. Our Thanks to John,Wendy and staff.

We have stayed at this campsite quite a few times. We pitch on the field that is next to the lane approaching the campsite, it's usually quieter than rest of campsite. There is a small toilet/shower/washing up block, its cleaned during the day and is never busy. The showers are free and hot, as is the hair dryer. There is a small shop/reception. There is also a burger van that sells bacon rolls in the morning.
It is a short walk to the beach, 10 mins down/15 mins back up! Its a bit of a climb and gets the heart rate up a bit, but nothing too strenuous. Our 7 year old manages to get back up without moaning its too steep!
We sometimes take our dog, they are allowed on the beach, but NOT allowed on at Sennen though until after 7pm, so bear that in mind. You can follow the costal path to Sennen, where The Beach Cafe sells lovely food and drinks at reasonable prices. They DO allow well behaved dogs on the terrace.
If your looking for somewhere else to eat try Chappell Street in Penzance. Absolutely fabulous food and well worth the journey! We were treated to live jazz while we were there, we would highly recommend it! Before we found it though, we were told to try The First and Last Inn.Don't, it was full of oinks that couldn't complete a sentence without using the F word at least 3 times - landlord included. Also it seemed to be full of under aged young people - drinking. When we went in the tables were filthy and sticky too, lets just say we didn't stay!
If you're looking for a campsite with entertainment then this one isn't for you.
