We had a week from 25th April with our 2 dogs. It was a quiet week. We had a great time. Simon very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Facilities extremely clean.
Very few notices of don't do's and must do's which was very refreshing.
Dog walking excellent with nearby walk to Wisemans Bridge well equipped with doggy poop facilities.
Try a walk to Amroth and on to Colby Woodland Garden via the public footpath from Amroth, fairly flat and very pleasant but note high tide times if going via beach. The first bit up to the coastal path from Wisemans Bridge is a bit steep but worth the effort.
Good food everywhere we went - Wisemans Bridge, Amroth etc. Dog frienly pubs in the main.
One or two have mentioned road noise but this was not a problem during our visit.
Sheltered site, plenty of room for awning.
Shower nice and hot but not very powerful. Great shower room though, clothes didn't get wet as on many sites as shower completely separate. I am a bit 'nesh' as one might say and a little heating would have been very welcome.
Would recommend to others.

Hi I was going to leave a review but, I think that Mandy 39 as said it all.
We did use this site over nine years ago and the facilities are just as clean as they were then
The whole site and people are great.
Breakfast on the sea front at armorth is a must
we started our stay and finished it here, as the carpark can take a car and van and it's free
We will see you again in 2013 (by the way they have hook ups at no charge)

What a beautiful, cosy, friendly site and lovely group of people. I just came home today after five great days. Simon was very helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The toilets and shower room was immaculate all through the day. The pitches were well spaced out and very neat. We loved our stay here. We made some new friends. I wasn't able to get internet connection via my Orange dongle for my laptop and I didn't get a signal for my orange mobile phone although other campers were able to with a different network. (this wasn't really a problem for me ) but I can imagine it might be for other people.
The children's park was sweet and I loved the boat it was a nice touch being as I love my boats. I will be returning here in the new year, but be advised pre - booking is a must in busier times like school holidays. This is a small site but worth a stay. We could see the stars in the night so clearly, and we could hear owls in the quietness that surrounded us. There is a friendly little robin that visited us most of the day and a pheasant also put in an appearance and was lovely to see.
They do allow dogs there aslong as they were on leads which is fair enough, and a lot of people did take their dogs.
The ironworks heritage site was worth a look if your interested in that sort of thing ( as I was ). Amroth with gift shops and cafes and icecream parlours and Wisemans bridge has a pub and a convenience store and beach which aren't too far away and Kilgetty has all your needs with a co-op, postoffice, chipshop bicycle shops and chemist or even Saundersfoot village has the same types of amenities with a beach also.
Carew car bootsale and market is on, on Sundays and Tuesdays so if your stuck fr something to do its worth a look.
There are Tescos, Asdas, instore, mcdonalds, lidls and wilkinsons and shops like it down towards Pembroke doc its approx 10miles from this site if you did prefer to go to those stores. But we found shopping local was easier and more convenient.

What a surprise this site was, small and beautifully laid out. The owners were so helpful and very friendly coming to see us in the evening to check if there was anything we needed. The site is so peaceful at night with only the sound of owls, which seemed on times to be right above our caravan.
The walk to Wisemans bridge is lovely with the river running along side, next time we will take our bikes. At Wisemans bridge there is a pub serving meals which is right on the beach. You can also walk into Saundersfoot from Wisemans bridge.
All in all the perfect site to stay if you want a relaxing stress free holiday. We will be back in the spring.

Not what we were expecting for the price. Nice location, but you need your car. We were woken by traffic nearly every night and morning. Pitch at one end of the site and toilets and showers at the other end which have no heating. You also have to park your car away from your tent. You have to drive to the nearest shop and the nearest pub is fifteen minute walk. Won't be returning, stayed at far better for less.

Excellent site, Superb. We booked for a week but unfortunately had to cut short our trip due to weather conditions.
The pitch size was ample for our 5 berth tent and the facilities were spotlessly clean. Showers were 50pence for ten mins. Pot washing facilities and laundry room was also very clean. Reception was stocked with board games but our girls enjoyed the play area we explored the surrounding area and the beaches were outstanding.
If you are going with children a trip to folly farm is a must book online before trip for 10% discount.
Shops were only short car journey away but there is a tesco in almost every town we visited for supplies.
We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return
The owners of the site were really nice and very helpful.

What a great little site, the owners description is spot on and it is so worth a visit. We had a great couple of days here and we found lovely walks in the area. The site is kept in pristine condition and simon the owner is very helpful nothing seems to much trouble. We are telling all our friends about this lovely site and we know they wont be disappointed, we will be back soon. The site is very close to great beach walks and a short car ride to Tenby and other great little towns, there is a great pub nearby, so if your looking for a perfect little getaway give this site a try you will be amazed.

What can I say, a fantastic site in a great location. We managed to get a cancellation here on our first 'test' camping trip with two children aged 15 months and 4 years. We all had a great time.
Small site with only a handful of pitches and a number of statics. Nice play area with its own boat which the kids loved. Small shower block but warm and clean. Nice walk along woodland path to Wisemans Beach.
Our pitch (I think all of them) are all weather pitches, so not on grass. They do have hemp sheets as an additional layer.
Only problem we had was the first night the tent next to us had a dvd on repeat until the early hours. However the owners put a word in the following morning and all was fine.
What more can I say.

Stayed for a week. Initially disappointed with pitch size, quite close to your neighbours and on busy nights there was nowhere to park the car close to our unit.
Site is spotless and very well set up for younger children (felt very safe). Wiseman's Bridge is a short walk down a traffic free public footpath and there's a great beach and pub there.
The road alongside the site is quite busy (even at night) and this detracted from the image of a peaceful site that we were expecting. Showers cost 50p for 10 mins but the charge for a night's pitch is not cheap £28 and I felt these should have been included in the fare.
Also there is only one shower for men and one for women which is not enough for a site this size (had to wait some time to get showered some nights). Furthermore the showers don't work properly. If someone runs a tap or flushes the toilet in either toilet, the shower goes cold and then scolding hot.
We had a decent stay here but wouldn't return. This is a nice site but for the money we have stayed on better.
