My husband and I recently camped here for a few days with our three small children, having never camped before we didn't really know what to expect, however this place exceeded all our expectations.
We travelled by train arriving in nearby Killgetty which has a co-op and a few nice shops a taxi from Killgetty to the site was just £5. The site is simply wonderful in the most beautiful setting abundant in wildlife.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. The facilities on site are very well kept and very clean the showers are just 50p for a ten minute shower which we all felt was ample time.
There is a lovely children's play area and as the camp is nice and small we felt happy for our children to run off and play with there newly made friends.
There are lots of lovely walks nearby and it is just a fifteen minute woodland walk to Wisemans beach and the Wisemans inn with saundersfoot another fifteen minute stroll from there. The nearby village of Killgetty is a twenty minute walk away for all essential supplies though there is a bus service that stops right outside the park to Killgetty, we felt that public transport in the area was excellant.
We had a brilliant time and left knowing we will definitely be returning.

Just returned from our third visit to this site. This site is excellent for families or couples alike. It is immaculately clean in a wonderful peaceful and tranquil setting.
Our children loved being able to play out safely and we had the reassurance of knowing they were safe and in view at all times as all the statics look out on to the play area. If you like your holidays traditional style, peaceful with no organised entertainment, plenty of walking, fresh air and the kids making friends and playing outside then this is for you.
If you like organised club houses, arcade machines and alike then this site is not for you.
We already booked to go back again next year.

Our second visit to a perfect quiet family site in our eyes ! The owners are more than helpful, plenty of toys / books / videos / buckets and spades to borrow.
A park which includes a boat is a great child pleaser and could be seen from the comfort of our allocated pitch. About 20 minute walk to the beach which allows dogs. Perfect for us and then a further walk into saundersfoot.
I wish there were more sites like this

On arrival The owner recognised us from our previous visit last year, and as last year he helped us around to our pitch and offered his help if needed.
The site is a small one (only 12 Pitches) along with a hand full of static vans, the shower block while being small (one shower in each side) and looking a bit old were very clean and looked to be maintained to a high standard. The shower was coin operated but did last 10mins plenty long enough.
The play park was still a winner with our little one, the site provides a digital tv hook up with a very good strong signal. We did not walk too far but did go over the road to the old iron works which was very interesting this is where we walked the dog.
We went into Saunderfoot which is a lovely little place but mind the gulls as one pinched my icecream !
We will return again but as we are sadly selling our van we will be staying in the old mill building which has been converted into a holiday home, the owner showed us around and it was lovely cant wait to return.

Just returned from a fantastic 4 nights at MillHouse Caravan Park. The owners had been exceptionally helpful even before our arrival and when we pitched up the welcome didn't disappoint! We were provided with a ground sheet and each pitch had its own picnic table.
The toilets/showers and utility block were extremely clean and tidy. As there are not many tent pitches (mostly caravans) there were never any queues for any facilities.
A 10 -15 min walk to the nearest pub / beach at Wisemans Bridge may put some people off, but for us it was fine. I would definitely recommend.

The site is located just of the main coastal road running along A477 going West towards Tenby and Pemboke.
On arrival was greeted by the owner, who led us personally to our pitch. He explained the all weather pitches and had geotextile sheets waiting on the pitch. Then he very helpfully gave us a background to the area, including location of the beach, local amenities and shops etc. As other reviews have said he was helpful and the more personal touch was appreciated.
The site is a small one, with a single tarmacked road surrounded by the static/ touring pitches and possibly 3-4 hardstanding tent pitches and a few more static pitches. The 3 hardstanding camping pitches are located in a sheltered location amongst trees. They are flat and well drained; I was first sceptical about pegging on hard ground, but this was appreciated during the storms in late August and when packing away - no muddy groundsheet !
There is a small play park for kids, only potential improvement is that a fence may have made it safer, although this is a minor one as the site is very quiet anyway!
There is just 1 shower in dedicated room each men/women. It is 50p for about 10 mins of hot water which is plenty. One shower doesnt sound much, but is fine for the number of people on site (same for basins + loos). There is one washing up sink which is again fine, and very clean. Overall the facilities are adequate and clean. Some reviews have stated that an upgrade is needed, but in my view they are well maintained, and I`ve certainly seen a lot lot worse !
Wisemans bridge (shingle/sand beach and resturant) is about 15-20 mins leisurely walk through a wooded path. Pembroke / Manobier castles are within 20 mins drive as are the beaches of lydstep, pendine, manobier, sandersfoot amroth. There is a co-op supermarket within 2 mines drive in Kilgetty which has everything you might need grocery wise. Chip shops are available in Sandersfoot Kilgetty and Amroth. I would also recommend the Dragon Palace Chinese Restaurant and Takeaway on the main A478 Road into Tenby @ Pentlepoir.

Generally a lovely family friendly site, very safe and secure and our daughter loved the park and play area. The surrounding area has lots of places of interest and Folly Farm is a must for those with young children. We ate at the Step Grill, excellent value for money and the quality of food was outstanding, I can't understand why it wasn't busier and I would definitely recommend eating here. The owner was very helpful and friendly, keen to help and make our stay enjoyable. The only downside was the shower and toilet block, which were run down and in a poor state of repair and badly need updating and modernising. There were frequent queues for the shower and sometimes queues in the men's toilets. If you can close your eyes to the toilet / shower facilities, then this campsite is excellent and I would recommend it whole heartedly.

Have just spent a week here but don't think we would return. The facilities are very shabby and dated and were not cleaned every day. Nicely laid out site but a lot of it is in shade for most of the day. We had glorious weather but couldn't appreciate it on site as there was not much sun because of all the tall trees. The tent area is very damp and never dried out but pitches are spacious and it was nice to have a table each. Owners very pleasant.
The area is beautiful and the beaches at Wiseman's Bridge, Saundersfoot and Tenby are lovely. The walk through the tunnels to Saundersfoot is very interesting. Car parks are reasonable at £2.50 per day and free at Wiseman's Bridge!

We got given a warm welcome on the day we arrived, nice pitch. Toilet block clean but could do with an updating down side to them was only 1 shower. A big green and park for kids. Nearest shops are a drive away, no onsite pub 10 min walk through woods (would advise not to walk through when dark), taxi's not easy to get hold of. Lovely, clean beaches, fishing trips nearby and for a great day out visit folly farm.
