We have recently returned from a camping weekend at Mill House Caravan Park and had a fantastic time. The site is by far one of the best I have stayed at.
It's lovely to see a campsite done so well and a site which makes life easier, from the child friendly park which our kids loved, to the cleanest shower and toilet facilities we have seen on a site. The site is a true credit to the people who own and run it.
Plenty of hot water, stand alone bathroom/shower room (no cramped cubicle); lovely safe park to suit even younger children; washing up and laundry block; picnic benches at every pitch; well kept greens/gardens; even all the latest Heat & Now mags to read - everything you could want for a great camping trip away with small kids (6 & 3yrs). Perfect!

Went for 10 fantastic nights on this beautifully clean and relaxing site. We turned up in the pouring rain and Simon ( site owner) not only came out to show us our pitch, because the weather was so bad, he hooked our van onto his landrover and towed it neatly onto the pitch!
Weather was hit and miss but we always had digital signal due to the loan of a cable that meant we didn't have to phaff around trying to get a good pic on our own aerial!
Toilets fantastically clean and showers were brilliant, 50p for 10 mins and amazing unless someone ran the tap on the handbasins next door.
Would go back at the drop of a hat, the site was clean and everyone we met there was so friendly and shared their own tips with us as we are relatively new to caravanning!
Although there are only one shower per sex, we never had to wait and what a place to visit!

Excellent site, directions were easily followed from the website. Arrived & made to feel very welcome straight away, shown to a secluded pitch. Gravel with a membrane for our tent to pitch on.
Toilet block & shower was spotless, lots of hot water & 50p very good for a good hot shower. Laundry well used & wash up is free. Camp owner recommended a nice walk & map to Amroth.
Totally worth it, very easy directions. Saunderfoot is only a 1/2 hour stroll away, along with the woods, colliery & ironworks across the road from the site - with a dog it was total value for money.
Road alongside site to Wisemans Bridge was a little busy, but calmed down in the evening. The gravel pitch came into its own after 2 days of rain, the base of the tent was totally dry. Kilgetty has a co-op just 5mins drive across the main road to get everything you need.
We felt totally isolated but in a lovely community, will def stay here again.

A very good clean site with tv cable supplied, nearest shop is quite a long way to go. Only two showers for the use of campers which gave a good 10 min shower for 10p. A map of the cycle path close by would have been useful as road is very narrow down to beach and the old railway track is flatter and tarmacked. There is a further track leading to Saudersfoot which is a lovely place to visit and is within walking distance.

Stayed for 3 nights in April, it was our first touring experience and Simon made it pain free with his help and advice when we arrived.
Fantastic site, all positive, great play area for children who you can watch from your caravan. Lovely walks to Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot. Definitely want to go back.
Toilet facilities excellent, very clean, 50 pence for 10 minutes which was long enough.
As TV reception is not great the owners even gave us a aerial cable so that we could watch TV.
The weather was fantastic when we stayed (Easter week) too.
Would recommend to others.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. What a fantastic site. The all weather pitches were a real bonus as the weather for our first two days was not brilliant! The facilities at Mill Farm were excellent and the owners could not do enough to help.
Set within beautiful surroundings and with numerous walks within very short distance to the site, its location could not be better. A fantastic walk along a disused, pretty ironworks railway line, leads you to the beach with an added extra of having a pub on it.
Do not go to this site if it is party time you are after, you would not like it, it is so peaceful and quiet. The only noise coming from the abundance of wildlife.
We shall be returning next year.

We have recently returned from Mill House Caravan park, and felt that we wanted to post a review, to say what a great time we had whilst staying on the site. Also as parents with young children, we are always glad to read good reviews finding them helpful before booking a pitch on a site.
Simon and Amanda made us feel welcome on our arrival, showing us to our pitch, and offering help to set up.They made sure we were told about where and what the facilities involved on site and also filled us in on the local area such as the nearest shop, pub, beach etc.
Our pitch, which was a hardstanding pitch, was of a good size, with electric hookup, and well cared for lawns, planted beds etc. Some people may not like the fact that you cant park right next to your caravan, but we didn't really mind as your vehicle is parked within view, and the site has a small and secure environment.
The children's play park and grass area is lovely, our children are 4yrs, 6yrs and we also have a baby, our children and the children of other campers all seemed to love the boat! There is plenty of room for the children to run around safely.
The shower block is clean, there is only one female shower and one male shower, but we only had to wait the one day out of seven. The only down side is that the water pressure isn't fab so if someone flushes the toilet, next door, you end up with a trickle of water coming out of the shower, but that isn't the end of the world is it! The showers cost 50pence but last an adequate time. There is a baby bath available at reception if you have forgotten you're own and the owners are happy for you to take this into the family room. The laudry room is good.
The site overall is ideal for couples and families with children, its clean and the owners are friendly and helpful. It is situated in lovely surroundings with fab walks and sites to visit, the local pub and beach at wisemans brigde is at the end of a mile long walk thro a lovely tree lined trail.
We hope this may be helpful to others. We have booked to go back next year and have been able to book the same pitch which we are pleased about. Looking forward to it.

The children had a lovely time using the small play area, the boat was a real social point for all the youngsters on the site, the tent pitches are at the back of the site so the playground is obscured by bushes and caravans, so if you have children of a more tender age you will struggle to relax by the tent and keep an eye on your young ones, as we did.
There is a public road be it a quiet one next to the site which has no security barrier so children could wander, but if you are wise like us, we just relaxed on the large grassed play area and enjoyed watching our children have fun.
The showers and toilets were always clean and tidy though they may need an upgrade in the near future, only having one shower per-gender caused minor queue's but we never had to wait too long, the fact that the shower's are coin operated probably helped, 50 pence gave you ten minutes of hot water which was plenty.
The owner's were away on our visit but Simon finally caught up with us as we were packing away and seemed a warm friendly person.
The site itself is well placed for all the local attraction's, Wisemans Beach being a fifteen minute walk along the old Minors Trail next to the site was a big plus, no car-no parking problems, other beaches next to Wisemans were all easily accessed by foot too.
Like any summer holiday in the UK we had plenty of rain, the pitch and the park drained very well and I never saw a puddle on site.
If you own a large tent you will struggle to pitch so check with owners before booking, we took our weekend tent so had no problem's.
Lovely site.

We have just returned from this amazing little site and we can't wait to go back. There are a few statics, touring and camping pitches. All of the pitches are generously sized and are well kept.
The owners helped us to put our caravan on the pitch and left us to unhook before giving us all the information about the site facilities and local area so we weren't bombarded with information immediately. Being able to watch our small son on the play area and knowing he was safe was a bonus.
Millhouse is so tucked away that each night we could hear the owls and pheasants, pure relaxation. A short relaxing stroll away through the woods is the Wiseman's Bridge pub which is directly on the sea front and serves good food.
All in all I couldn't fault the site. The week we were there there were some very friendly caravanners and campers and as a result we have made some good friends. Will be back next year.

Just back from a week at Mill House. Site was very clean. No shop. Only one shower in toilet block, and you had to pay 50p, which I thought was expensive on top of £19.50 a night ( low season ).
Site was quiet, and 20mins walk,or 5 mins car ride to beach, where you could take the dog on.Pub at beach was good, but food a little expensive. V busy at weekends.
Overall a very good site, only small with more statics than tourers/tents. Owner was v helpful.
