Facilities are clean and up to usual CC high standards. Wifi available but at usual CC fee. TV signal is still analogue with only 5 channels. Warden informed us that CC were still to update site equipment even though the area is now digital. Power stands also have aerial sockets. Warden will loan an aerial cable if you don't have one. Site is convenient for Isle of Skye and the west coast up to Plockton (Hamish Macbeth for those who remember the series).

I agree with all the reviewers before me, about the facilities been very clean and tidy and the site well keptEverything is very organised just as you would expect from a caravan club site, however, I do think it's lost it's character and felt it had no atmosphere. This was our second visit to the site the last time was 4 years ago and we enjoyed it that visit.
We come away very disappointed and considering not to return for our next trip in the area, but what really made up our mind was the additional £10 charge a night added as we are non members. At the time we accepted it but as we have visited 5 other sites on this trip, I can honestly say that the extra £10 is not good value for money.
Another observation was how quiet it was in August, I think that caravan club has priced itself out for non members ( if they can afford to do this good luck to them).

Stayed here four four nights during our tour of the Highlands, set in a stunning location with all the usual caravan club facilities the grounds were wll kept and the toilets were very clean, the office was closed when we arrived so we found our pitch and set up, we were not disappointed, The T. V. Reception is still in Analogue but you can get this via a plug in on the electric post. There is plenty to do in the area and there is an activity centre just outside the gates, there is a Restaurant very close by serving good food called the Jacobite all in all a very nice site.

We used this site on our road home from a tour of the Hebrides. We hadn't booked and arrived after the office had closed but the warden came out to meet us and was very welcoming.
The site is very neat and tidy (as most club sited are) and the facilities were excellent. Although the site was busy there was no wait for showers.
The setting is beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery. We didn't explore the local area as we were only there overnight.

This site is in a truly stunning location, surrounded by mountains, with the Five Sisters of Kintail dominating the view. The site is really well laid out with big flat pitches; plenty of room for caravan, awning and car and still leaving a good amount of space between you and your neighbours.
The facilities are excellent with loads of toilets, free hot showers, free hair dryer in the ladies, information centre, campers lounge, and laundry room.
We found the wardens to be very efficient but not very personable, but we seem to find this on all the caravan club and camping and caravan club sites that we stay on - is it us or is there a lack of training about customer service?
The site is a bit isolated and we used our car more than we usually do. There is an easy walk up the glen at the back of the site though. It isn't too far to visit Skye, Plockton and Eilan Donan Castle as all are within easy driving distance.
We ate at the dog friendly Kintail Lodge and the meal was excellent. There's a local shop at the garage at the head of the loch that sells basic provisions, and a larger Co op at the Kyle of Lochalsh. The Plockton Inn is a great place for seafood, we sat outside because it was a beautiful day, so don't know if they allow dogs inside.
This is a really good site for exploring the west coast and for those wanting to do some serious hill walking, we would definitely go again.

We went up to Morvich the last week of April. We were the only campers (due to the late cold snap).
The web page for this place is spot on, the area is breathtaking. The campsite itself is very well kept, we have stayed here numerous times before & its always immaculate. Excellent facilities, heated shower/toilet block, with individual wash cubicles. Free of charge showers, & really hot water. Brilliant drying room. Laundry facilities, small common room with a tv & pool table. Also a small general information room, with leaflets of things to do etc. You can access the various mountains straight from the campsite, or various valley walks too. There is a quiet lane you can take your dog for a walk straight from the main gate.
There is a hotel in Sheil Bridge that does good meals (accepts dogs too ). Also a small shop in Sheil Bridge & a petrol station/convenience shop half way to Dornie. Kyle of Lochalsh if you need a supermarket

Fantastic location. Red deer in the hills, golden eagles overhead. Surrounded by mountains and beautiful. Very peaceful with good local walks.
Long way from a supermarket, so important to stock up if you're staying for a while. A very clean and well kept site. Good facilities, and very well run. The shower block is good, plenty of hot water and enough facilities for everyone.
Has drying room for wet outdoor gear, also a bonus.
Great price. Under £15 a night for 2 adults, van and dog (October). Would recommend.

Excellent facilities and superb location including direct access into the mountains behind the site. Have stayed twice on the flat camping field and enjoyed both stays. Normally used to more basic sites so quality of facilities is a treat. They are immaculate clean as well. Wee shop is handy too. If you are travelling by public transport it's a reasonable walk from the main road (though bus driver complained about stopping). I will be back.

This site has all the hallmarks of a well run CC club site. The facilities are just what you would expect -clean, comprehensive and up to scratch.
When they warn you about the water temperature they really do mean it -it will scald you and those with small children need to take extra care to avoid injury! This needs resolving.
If you have dogs they will love the area and there is a lot of good walking for them. Please be aware that the wardens are not dog lovers and they tolerate them at best. They seriously expect you to keep your dogs off the grass near their units -difficult when they are being grazed by rabbits and you have to pass by to exit the site!
Also be aware that there are no exceptions to the rules of the site under any circumstances -even when they fly in the face of common sense and courtesy to others!
Local shopping at Shiel Bridge is a waste of time. Avoid the detour and go straight to Lochalsh!
For those trying to walk to the Falls of Glomash the footbridge over the river is no longer there!

This was our 2nd visit (just 1 night) as part of an annual motorhome tour and it makes a very convenient stopping point away from the main road but with several route options that can be followed. The site exactly matches the high standards, reasonable costs (as members) and layout of Caravan Club sites everywhere. It was full or nearly full in mid May so you need to book. This says a lot for it's popularity, but then there are few Club sites in Scotland and there is a loyal band of members who do not venture into the wider world of non-club sites!
The wardens were very helpful and they will obtain newspapers if ordered in advance. We found their Calor Gas shop invaluable. They also sell TV aerial lead which are essential if you want a picture (analogue) without a dish. The information room on the site has loads of ideas for local excursions, but everywhere, including places to eat out, involves a drive - not ideal.
Despite what has been said, the dog walk just outside the site gate and along the river bank is great. We have no hesitation in recommending this site.
