We had a fantastic time at Well Park although the weather was a bit of a let down but no one can help that. We arrived on the Saturday on bank holiday weekend and after a very friendly welcome from the owner we pitched in the field behind the toilet block.
The tent field was open and surrounded by trees for shelter, with a children's play area at one side. The toilet/shower block was well equipped and clean and there was instant hot water in the showers. There was a pay per use laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer which was also part of the toilet/shower block.
There was no shop on site which could be a bit awkward, but it was only a short walk into the nearby village to the local shop. There was a small clubhouse which held a bar, amusement machines and a pool table. This was adequate enough but on one night where there was a singer there was not enough seating. This didn't cause a problem because we didn't mind standing.
A burger van would arrive in the morning and at tea time selling various hot drinks and rolls at very reasonable prices. There was no other place on site to get any food but there were other places in the village and down in tenby which was about a half hour walk away.
Overall this was a brilliant place and we all enjoyed. It was nice and clean and patrolled regularly. I would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for a long weekend over the May Bank Holiday as we had friends visiting Tenby staying in a hotel in town. We knew of the site as we spend a lot of spare time around the area and decided to give it a try for the first time because of its close proximity to Tenby town.
We'd pre-booked a super pitch large enough for our outfit having gone through the process of emailing our request for availability, sending in our cheque for the deposit and awaiting postal confirmation that our booking had been accepted. The whole process of booking could really do with modernizing as there are much quicker, easier and more convenient ways to do this.
On arrival, we had a really friendly greeting and having paid the outstanding balance for our stay, were shown an old aerial photograph of the park with the location of our allocated pitch. We made our own way over and were pleasantly surprised to find a nice large level pitch with all the services conveniently located. This made the whole process of setting up a pleasure.
There are two facilities blocks on site but we only used the newer of the two which was clean and spacious and generally well kept. This had key code access but we found that the doors were usually left ajar which seemed to defeat the whole point of having locks! The other block looked much older but can't comment on the facilities inside as we didn't use them.
There are a couple of conveniently located waste disposal points on the park but we only found one elsan point serving the whole of the park. This was very dated and in much need of modernization.
We had really nice weather over the whole of our stay and the grounds of the park are very well kept and nicely landscaped. There were quite a few seasonal vans sited on the park so the number of available hard standing or serviced pitches are limited and would get booked up in no time during busy periods. A lot of the pitches we saw weren't that level so many people were having to make use of levelling chocks to get their outfits setup as level as possible.
Although there is a small club house on site, we didn't make use of this so can't say what it's like. We did have a great meal in the steakhouse just up the road in New Hedges which is a short walk from the site entrance. Tenby town centre is a mile and a half away but as it's all down hill, makes for a really nice walk. We did this a couple of times but caught a taxi back each time!
Tenby and Saundersfoot are about the same distance from the park but in opposite directions. Both are really fantastic seaside towns definitely worth visiting and Well Park is perfectly located to do this. There are also loads of other beautiful places to visit near by and an abundance of things to see and do.
All in all we had a great stay at Well Park and will definitely be returning. There are things that need to be modernized because it will make the difference between a good park in a great location and a great park in a great location. Hopefully the updates will take place and who knows. Four pennants might become five!

My husband myself and our dog. This site is a really nice, we found it a last minuet and they could not be more helpful as I phoned 2 days before we went to see if we could come a day early. Was very surprised at how big the site was there are three tent tent fields 1 of which is very flat and 2 which are on slightly slopping.
There is a touring site with hookups and on tent site b there are a few electric hookups. There is a club on site which is only open from 8 at night, it was very small. When we went to this site it was was very waterlogged due to how much rain we've had over the last few months, it made the site extremely muddy which when you camp you take the rough with the smooth.
There were plenty of toilet and showers which were really clean and were cleaned daily. The showers were extremely hot. Would recommend this site to any one. The site is situated just outside tenby which is in walking distance which myself my husband and our dog did it was a nice walk there is no pavement for a short time just after you start the walk.
Tenby itself is really quaint and the main shops are in a pedestrian zone which is very safe. The beaches at tenby are real clean there is only a small portion of dog friendly beach on the south side which surprised me as they are very clean. There are two supermarkets in tenby 1 is near the cheapest car park in the town and the other is in the pedestrian zone.

Visited Tenby for the first time and was impressed with this site. As with previous reviews, the club Barman really helpful as is the reception staff, toilets clean but one block by the tourers outdated and in need of a revamp. But we found the Galloping Major pub 200yrds up the road was much better in the evening with good food at a good price, a lot more for the kids (aged 5&7) and weekend entertainment.
My biggest gripe was that the tourer pitches weren't marked out and some people seemed to take whatever space they wanted and others were left parking car, van, awning, car van, awning etc.
Apart from that I would recommend this site and the area.

This was our 5th visit to Tenby and by far was the best camp site we had stayed on. It was well maintained, clean and friendly.
The toilet block was excellent, the cleanest and biggest we have come across. We had an excellent pitch with electric.
The bar and games room only opened at 8, but that wasn't a problem. The barman, Brian, is one on the friendliest and helpful man you`ll meet. Even with all the children mithering for change he still had a smile on his face and a kind word for them all.
Location is fantastic too, 5 min drive to Tenby or Saudersfoot.
We cannot wait to book again for next year now and we where sad to come home.

Just come back from a weeks stay at this lovely site. We were given a Super Pitch and that's exactly what it was - brilliant. Beautiful views over the countryside and the park was very well looked after with lots of hedges and trees making lots of pitches fairly private.
Although everything was clean and tidy and bins emptied regularly and grass well cut we never noticed this being done. The site was extremely peaceful and relaxing.
New Hedges is a five minutes walk across the main road and has a well stocked Londis and there is also a Steak House and Tavern, we never used these but they are very easy to walk to and will definitely try them on our next visit.
The bar on site was only open Fridays and Saturdays while we were there but we found that ok. The barman was extremely helpful telling us where to shop and which path to take to walk into Tenby which is about 30 minutes mostly downhill, he did warn us to walk down and catch the bus back but we walked both ways and found it fine quite steep on the way back but walkable.
Saundersfoot is only a mile and a half away and worth a visit. Tenby is a lovely town full of narrow streets plenty of places to eat and drink and beautiful beaches.
To sum it up Well Park is a lovely site in a lovely area and close to the very pretty town of Tenby and we will certainly be going back to this site and probably on a regular basis.

A lovely park in a good location with very clean toilet and shower facilities (impressive!) and well maintained and neatly mown grounds. Very friendly and approachable staff.
Quite a walk from Tenby town itself but down hill mostly. Suggest a taxi back which is quite reasonable. A shop and steakhouse type pub nearby.
Cross the road and take the first left its a few hundred yards away. Enjoyed watching the rabbits playing in the fields nearby. Very relaxing
Will certainly return and recommend!

We stayed at Well Park over the Easter holiday. What an excellent site, very clean and tidy! We were greeted by a lovely lady who directed us to our pitch.
This was a super pitch, with hard standing, electric, water and drainage with plenty of room. The showers were free of charge which had plenty of hot water and very spacious. Washing up sinks were free of charge also nice hot water.
The bar was good with a friendly barman who told us all the best places to go.
5 minute walk to the londis shop which has everything you need!
We walked to tenby and it took us 20 minutes only 5 minutes by car.
This site is ideal as its only 1 mile from tenby and 1. 5 mile from saunderfoot both with lovely beaches although it was a bit cold to go for a dip.
We will definitely be coming again in the next couple of months, excellent park

Nice site. We had lovely weather. Toilet blocks cleaned ofon a regular basis. Just a short drive into town where we found lots of nice pubs and shops. Great day out at oak wood. Despite having loads to do the site is lovely and quiet. A small bar where you can have a drink on the evenings. Perfect site for people who want to relax or who want the busy fun packed time. Caterers for all ages. Really safe for the kids. Will go back time and time again. Great location. Owners are very friendly and will do all they can to help. Will recommend this site to everyone I know.

We`ve stayed at this site a number of times over the past three to four years and we`ve found the site great for us and the site fees are very resonable compared to other sites we`ve stayed at.
The owners of the site are very helpful and nothing seems to be to much trouble.
The facilities are very good, the only one drawback is there is only one point to empty the chemical toilet.
The site is well situated between Tenby and Saundersfoot, and it`s an ideal base to explore the south west Wales coast.
There are lots of places to visit in the area.
We will keep going to Well park.
