The Good
Excellent Location. Tenby, Saundersfoot and Pembroke all within easy reach.
Nice clean site, grounds and fauna are immaculately maintained.
Plenty of bins around the 3 fields of the site, and emptied regularly throughout the day.
Recycling area for glass, plastic, tins and cardboard.
Field C (Predominately power supply pitches) lovely and quiet.
10pm noise curfew adhered to with few exceptions.
Pleasant and friendly staff.
Toilet blocks cleaned regularly, and never once was there a loo roll shortage!
Free hot showers, the best ones being in the main block near reception.
Onsite laundrette.
Childs play area (a climbing frame, 2 swings and sandpit)
Plenty of access roads around site - a constant source of amusement for the children and their bikes/scooters!
The site is right off the main road into Tenby so really easy to find (and access if towing).
Londis shop less than 5 minute walk away which carries pretty much everything you will need for supplies.
The Bad
Low pressure in toilet/shower block on field C.(If everyone is using the showers the 'spray' is barely a dribble.)
Only one chemical loo point, that we could find, next to laundrette. Bit of a trek from far flung areas of site (especially with a full container!)
20p for hot water for washing up dishes and signs forbidding you from using the free hot water in the loos for cleaning your pots!
Field B (used for non power pitches for tents) right next to the main road so quite noisy.
The Ugly
A small wasp problem where we were!
Onsite burger van which charges the earth! Plus measuring out chip portions (by scooping the tray into the frozen chip bag and then into the fryer) and cooking to order means a lengthy wait for food. My advice - go to a chippy!
The on site bar. Random pricing, so much so that the 'barman' even confessed at one point he had been charging too much and was lowering his prices midway through one evening!
Overall
We will definitely be coming back to Well Park. The Bad and Ugly stuff is pretty minor and nitpicking all in all. The positives of the site far outweigh the negatives in our opinion.
The views over the surrounding fields is just lovely and from field C, you would not know you were by a main road as we heard no noise and the trees and hedges hid it from view.
A better childs play area would be an improvement as there were a lot of families and the existing facility did tend to get overcrowded at times.
As for Tenby, its a lovely seaside town that thankfully has not been overpowered into a tourist trap machine. Car parking is extremely reasonable (the South Beach car park cahrges just £2.50 for the whole day, but gets busy so go early) and a walk through the town is extremely pleasant.
Pembroke castle is well worth a visit at just £12 for a family ticket. The local wildlife park, Folly Farm, is also excellent value at £30 for a family of four as it offers animals, indoor and outdoor play areas in abundance and even a 'doggy Olympics' show which is great fun. The indoor funfair is excellent and offers fairground rides ranging up from the 1930s to the ones I enjoyed as a nipper in the late 70s/early 80s including Waltzers and Dodgem cars. The rides are an extra expense I will point out but at 50p a ride its not too bad.

One flat field, two sloping. The flat is field next to road. Facilities good. Clean and adequate. One chemical point. Nearest supermarket is the post office across the duel carriageway and up slip road and is friendly and well provisioned. Good chip van with pleasant staff. Noise rule was not adhered to. Perhaps the staff could monitor this. Tent space tight in top flat field and crowded and ranged from adequate to good on the sloping fields. The site is in the perfect spot between Tenby and Saundersfoot. Overall the top part of the site is a bit crowded and the lower part less so because of the sloping ground. Maybe the use of terraced landscaping would improve this site.

Just back from a weeks stay.
Pro's:
Flat site.
Good shower block.
Good playground for kids by Field B.
Central for touring area, with plenty to do in wet weather and great beaches if there is sun!
Cons:
Near main road so quite a bit of traffic noise. Field C may be quieter but further from loo's etc.
Club bar and games room not open to 7:30 or 8:00pm. Not that we would have been big users but just seemed a bit daft games room, at least, not being open earlier.
No shop.
Would we use again? Possibly, although plenty of sites in area.

Second visit to this campsite - which says something in itself. Generous pitch sizes, accommodating owners, clean good quality facilities. Although it was busy it did not feel crowded and there was never a queue for showers etc.
Washing machine and dryers are available, you can freeze your own ice packs but label them clearly as we lost 6!
There is a butty van and a bar. Butty van does great breakfast baps if you can't face cooking in the rain. Did not go to the bar so can't comment.
Little shop close by. Site is situated between tenby and saundersfoot.
Will be returning.

Well where do I start ? Booked back in April after reading reviews. We had a hardstanding at a cost of £27 a night !, 2 adults 1 child 1 dog @ £2 night and an awning @ £2 a night. There wasn't even a dog walking field to use. Very expensive site for what you got, very close to each other with no screening.
The (very old) toilet block next to us leaked when it rained and was dirty and the toilet seats had been painted !, my hubby told me that one of the urinals leaked and had a bucket under it, the people that came around to clean the loo's were the same people who ran the on-site burger van
For the cost I'd give this site 3/10. Shop up the road was first class and sold everything you needed. Tenby town very nice. Wont be using this site again !

Lovely kept site, there are two shower blocks, I personally felt that the showers beside the tent field was better. Both were cleaned every day.
The site itself was kept and tidy site.
When we visited the Pub was only opened at the weekends, as well as the games room.
Thought it was not badly priced.
Good location for going places, tenby was within walking distance via one of the national cycle paths.
We went to Heatherton, Blue Lagoon and the wildlife park. Which my teenage daughter who is hard to impress enjoyed herself.
If you are taking a tv it is best that a long tv aerial cable is taken with you.
We didn't get a signal for the mobile internet unfortunately.
Reception had a good selection of leaflets for things to do.
Would recommend and if going to wales again would consider this is site again

Really easy to find straight off the main road into tenby. It is rather hilly around tenby itself, to be honest we used our car each time we went in, but I have to say the parking prices were very reasonable around town.
The site is on a bit of an incline & we needed chocs, not a prob just don't forget them. The showers were free & there are 2 blocks to use. Loos were ok.
There is a bar & games room on site, at the time we were there it was only open fri & sat nights, don't know if this changes during school hols.
We found it to be a fairly quiet site which suited us. We would certainly go again. Of course we had beautiful weather which always is a bonus

A lovely well maintained site. I had read a lot of site reviews around Tenby via UKCampsite.co.uk as usual before deciding on a site. This site did not disappoint. From the moment we booked in for a 3 night stay David was very helpful and friendly.
We pitched in field B which was well laid out and tents were not too close together at all. Showers and toilets were always very clean and I never had to wait for a shower cubical, slight wait on the odd day for my wife (she said it was because women are cleaner than men!). Water was always nice and hot, shower block was modern and looked as if they were cleaned regularly. Could have done with a few more soap dispensers but this was the only small gripe.
The site was quiet generally after 10.30 of a night which was good as the owners do not entertain rowdy groups in fact they favour families and couples. Loads of leaflets of where to go in reception, David and the lady managing the site (sorry did get her name) are very warm, friendly people.
The site is about a mile or so from Tenby (you can walk to Tenby in about 25 mins) There's a local Londis store which stocks everything aprox 300 yards from the site entrance. The site is situated in New Hedges which is a lovely quite area, there was a nice looking pub up from the Londis which we were told did good food but we didn't have chance to visit. We drove down in Tenby most times and parked in the North Beach car park for just £2.00 for the day and you could walk into Tenby (just a short stroll of 5 mins or so) Would go back to this site.
Only negative was noise from traffic on main road was at times fairly constant and field B was the closest to the road but I have to say it was not bad enough to spoil our time there. In fact from the other fields A and C you could not really here
There is a small van situated near filed C which sells chips, burgers, tea, coffee, hot sandwiches etc which looked well run. There's a bar on site which we never needed to use, there's no shop but this wasn't a problem. Park is a mix of caravans (not many) tourers and tents and I would say is the nicest I've camped on to date.

An excellent site in a lovely location.
Very well sheltered and easy to find.
The facilities are immaculate.
The owners are very friendly.
The grounds are immaculate.
What more do you need from a long weekend stay?
The walk into Tenby is very pleasant. A bit up hill on the way back.
We also rode our bikes around the area and the views from cliff top out past Saundersfoot path are breath taking.

Clean, tidy, flat pitch, free showers, cheap
Too far to walk to Tenby. About 50mins with a pushchair up and down hills.
Main tent field is next to busy road, lots of noise. Playground was limited and bar was rubbish.
I stayed by the caravans. Found a nice area away from other tents. Unfortunately there is anyother campsite next door, and we found our tent next door to their playground, so very noisy.
Although this place is nice, I like to be able to walk when on holiday. This place was just too far away from shops and the beach.
But for value for money it was good. I liked it but didn't love it.
