All 3 of us had a fab time camping at well Park Caravans site. The weather was fantastic, we camped in the field where there was plenty of room to pitch your tent. There was quite a few tents pitched up and did not feel overcrowded at all. The staff at the campsite are friendly and helpful.
My son enjoying playing over the park with other children and you can see them playing in the park from the field.
The shower & toilet block was opposite to us and were clean and tidy and in excellent condition. The block also had a hairdryer of a cost of 20p to use.
There is also a room behind the shower & toilet block to wash your dishes. In this room you can also wash and dry your clothes for a small cost.
I was also impressed by the fact you can recycle some of your rubbish you can recycle your glass bottles and plastic containers and also recycle cardboard too.
There isn't a shop on site but if you cross over the road and head up the small hill there is a Londis shop about 5/10 minute walk and they are quite reasonable but does get quite busy. There is also a pub by the Londis shop which sell buy one get one free meals and is quite nice to sit out in the sun.
If Londis is not for you then in Tenby Town there is a Somerfield to do shopping and the car park by the side of Somerfield cost 20p for 1 hour & 35p for 2 hours. There are plenty of eating and drinking places too in the town centre.
You can walk into tenby town centre its probably about 1 and half miles to the town all down hill. The main carpark by south beach does fill up quickly but is well worth parking for £2.50 for the day.
I would quite happily stay again at this Caravan and Campsite again.

Visited this site end of July and it was a lovely weekend. The weather was hot, and the park was great.
We arrived late on Friday and was given a choice of tent park B or tent park C. Due to our arrival time tent park B was full which was a shame as it's right by the shower and toilet block, we found a pitch in the field off park c which was flat and very quiet, but a short walk away from the toilets which was difficult for those late night toilet breaks.
The shower block was clean but did get busy in the mornings and a short wait is expected.
Tenby and Saundersfoot in walking distance but a taxi or bus would be advised for the return trip(up hill)
I would recommend this site and would stay there again.

My husband and I stayed on this site last week and were very impressed. The pitches were well spaced out and although the site was quite busy it didn't seem at all cramped. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
There are two toilet and shower blocks - both were kept clean and tidy. There is no shop on the site but there is a very well stocked and reasonably priced Londis about 10 minutes walk away in the village of New Hedges. There is also a pub which does 2-for-1 meals. The site has a bar and games room but they were only open at the weekend which was a bit disappointing - presumably they are open all week during the busier months.
Tenby is approx 15-20 minutes' walk away but is virtually all downhill so the walk back is not so good. We resorted to getting a taxi back from the town centre a few times which cost £5. You can also get a bus but they are infrequent and finish quite early.
Tenby itself is lovely, with lots of quaint buildings, little winding streets, gorgeous clean beaches and loads of pubs and restaurants. You can get boat trips around the coast and to Caldey Island which is worth a visit (approx £10 each).
I would recommend this site and would definitely stay here again.

What can I say other than we chose the best week this year to visit this charming camp site. We arrived early-traveling from Yorkshire takes time-4hrs before our due time to be greeted by a most accommodating young lady who found us space and even offered to help us set up. We chose not to have electric this time and decided to go out and about instead. The childrens play area was clean and tidy but small for the size of the site. The site was trying to recycle? only if the bins get emptied! They were full from when we arrived, leaving me and others to put our rubbish around the bins and not in them, which is okay but children will play.I raised this issue with the owner and was told they were looking into it. There was a reasonaly priced burger van on site, whose owner was a fountain of local knowledge, superb and well worth the price of a burger. The toilet/shower blocks were a let down, but as a place to sleep and a base of operations, the site was good. Space was plentiful and the feeling from other users was that it was a reasonable place to stay. The local supermarket was approx 10 mins away and by a local steakhouse for those who couldn't wait to have food cooked on site (My three?!). This shop serves the local community as well as campers which meant we didn't have to pay extra for our milk / bread / papers and being local stocked local produce (check out the welsh pork). Get to the shop early though. You have been warned as it sells out of bread and milk quickly And sausages don't last long either. Tenby and the surrounding area is superb, restaurants are plentiful and varied if you want to travel, with Saundersfoot rapidly becoming the place to eat. Tenby itself boasts a walled town and as a result there were few cars trying to knock you off of your feet. Loads of shops that cater for both tourist and local alike. Pubs and Inns a plenty for those times when building sandcastles is just too much! This brings me onto the beaches, from the lovely straight beaches of Pendine (Malcolm and Donald Campbell obviously knew something.ASK YOUR PARENTS) to the clean North and South Beaches of Tenby, there really is something for everyone. Please note I only found one Arcade, not bad for a seaside resort. Check out: Pembroke Castle-History Galore and fun with it. For a great day out try Oakwood Theme Park (book on the internet for discounts), thrill rides, water, swans and grounds to walk in, in my opinion Alton Towers without the queues. Dinosaur Land is one for the kids but worth a cold day visit if you are stuck for something to do. Museum of Speed- Pendine, find out what drove those speedy Campbell brothers. To sum up, we are going again. Excellent break, good resonably priced site.

Just come back from a week here, and I must say the site looked beautiful with loads of flowers and shrubs. However, I was a little disappointed with the standard of cleanliness in the new shower and toilet block. It only seemed to be cleaned once a day, which is not enough for a busy site. We found out that the older block, near the statics was quieter and cleaner. As with lots of other parks, I would recommend taking some loo roll with you! As stated in the brochure, Waterwynch Bay is beautiful, but you have a steep hill to climb up on the way back. Had a lovely meal at The Fountains Head pub( Saundersfoot) and if the weather had been better would have had a great time!

Well Park, what can I say, a beautiful week at a fab camp site! Super pitches, no noise, no fuss, no hassle, all families wanting the same thing, a nice family holiday. Plenty of showers which were very comfortable in size and hot, plenty of toilets and wash basins to accommodate the numbers on site and they were regularly cleaned and replenished. It had a lovely little bar and games room complete with a small playground with swings, climbing frames and slides, there was also an on site burger van that ran morning and night. Washing facilities were good, though a little dated and costly, but did the job none the less. Just a few mins walk away you have a Londis which is open until late and provides everything from a PO, general stores and news agents, the staff there are great and full of advice and tips. The New Hedges Tavern Steak House was just another min up the road and did a reasonable meal, it gets quiet full, but the meal is well worth it and there's no waiting about, service is fast! You have plenty of farm shops locally which are highly recommended for the local produce, we shopped in them daily and the staff were all friendly and helpful. You're just a stones throw from both Tenby Town Centre and Saundersfoot which is perfect. There are plenty of places to visit and shop, we did Folly Farm which is ace for all ages and a must for anyone in the area. The Dinosaur Park which our children loved, the rides there are really good and it's well kept and clean, great for children 5 and above. Oakwood After Dark was a blast, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there and the children loved the firework finish which was worth the wait. In all, this is a site we would visit again and again, it has all the basics a family could need and has a prime location. The only down points to this site are some other campers/caravaners with no respect for others, we had 7 ice blocks taken from our "camping party" which left us in a pickle, the Freezer was over full and they could have done with extra freezers to accommodate the number of ice packs families needed, most of the time the ice packs weren't frozen due to the high volume. The sinks in the toilet blocks were filled with scummy water or smeared with tooth paste of a morning which isn't pleasant and wouldn't have taken a few seconds to sort out by the person that made the mess, whats pulling a plug?! When laundering we had to watch the machines as some washing was being stolen or moved about which was a nuisance on times with two small children to entertain. All of these problem points are the fault of other campers and not the site! Respect other campers and their belongings.

On the site they have a new shower block done to a high standard.they may benefit from some more showers as the site seems to be getting very popular due to the friendly welcome.the site has a friendly club house to enjoy a good pint and relax.it is very close to tenby(walking distance or catch a bus).also there is a local shop with all you could need.definatley worth a visit.

Very nice quiet site, and the people were very friendly. Pleasant hedges gave some privacy. New toilet block since many of the existing comments were posted was fine. Lots of hot water and loo paper. Walking distance from Tenby (pretty walk) and fairly short walk to convenience store. Wouldn't recommend nearby pub in New Hedges. It was friendly but the food was really terrible.

The owners were very friendly on our arrival. We were able to set up our tent where we wanted. The site itself was immaculate and very well maintained. The shower block was far too small for the size of site, but, they were in the middle of building another, so this will sort out the problem of queuing up. The toilets were in need of a little updating and in the morning I did find that the loo paper had been removed. The site didn't have an on site shop, but as Tenby was only a few min drive away - problem sorted. All in all a good site and we would give it a 7/10.

**Review too old
Actually visited in 2004 but drop down menu wouldn't accept this. Site lovely and clean but had to laugh at another persons post about a tent on their pitch as we had same problem. Were promised pitches together when we arrived on site in person after wanting to prolong our stay but no room on site we were at originally. Arrived next day to find tent on our pitch and no apology just a rant off the lady in office about how they never promise pitches together! Mmmmm! Lots of others complained about staff while we were there and it's a shame because the site is spotless though pitches were sloping.
