What a fabulous site. Our first, but not last visit, to this amazing place. It truly is doggy heaven with wonderful walks both on the shore and along the coastline. Managed to pick enough blackberries on one walk to make half pound of jam back in motorhome! Will be back definitely, but will make sure we have enough provisions (wine!) as nearest supermarket is about 15 miles away. Lovely helpful staff and a clean and well managed site.

We rang to ask if any space and were told of course we have come on over! We arrived and within minutes were checked in and on a pitch.
Most things about this site and been well said before, its location is incredible, the facilities are kept immaculate and the views are, in our opinion, second to none. We couldn't get on the front row this time so opted for the next tier and found the views to be even better.
A trip to the lighthouse is well worth the effort, great exhibition, a climb up the lighthouse and then coffee and cakes in the fabulous cafe.
Stranraer isn't too far away for essentials but the village of Drummore is much closer and has a village stores, post office and hotel / pub.
Not sure that, for us, site get much better than this one.

Wow what a superb location ! This site really ticked all the boxes for us ! It's located right on the beach at New England Bay (we managed to get a sea side pitch too) the site is very large (in size) with lots of secluded areas with well spread out pitches. 2 facilities blocks which were immaculate 1 had disabled, mother & toddler and a laundry. It has a small kids play area and an indoor games room with pool table etc. The wardens were very friendly and the site itself very peaceful (apart from the odd Oyster catcher) the site has some of the best views we had but is quite remote (about 4 miles to the nearest village ! ) We will definitely return as it's a must location when touring this lovely part of Southern Scotland and one of the cheapest Caravan club sites we've stay on !

We have visited this site many times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. It is great for our children who meet old and new friends each time. The site is meticulously clean and very well kept. It is a large site but doesn't feel like it due to the landscaping. Unfortunately our last visit was tainted slightly by the dreaded midge. We have not had that problem before and was due apparently by a mild winter. We have enjoyed good fishing for mackerel from our dinghy and from the shore at terally bay. Decent pub food can be had at the Clashwannon caravan site on the way to Drummore. Don't bother going all the way there though it is a rather depressing village stuck in a battle with a remote harbour owner.

Fantastic site. We visit at least once a year, and this is one of the best for beach access for the dogs. The Mull of Galloway lighthouse, café/visitor centre and RSPB centre are all well worth the visit. The site itself is clean, tidy and in early October very quiet. My wife, being disabled, likes the disabled facilities and we were able to pitch quite close to the block. If I had to find fault the dog bins were all near the beach so it required a bit of a walk down there to get rid of the offending bags, but on this site it's a very pleasant walk.

Lovely site with lots of sectioned off pitches or sea view pitches. Fish and chip van comes once a week, but any shops you might need have to be driven to. If you are in a motorhome and do not want to drive around, come well stocked. Toilet and showers some of the best we have been to wardens very friendly, not the best site for children unless they are happy just to play out and walk, nothing else for them to do. We will be back as it is in a lovely location.

A lovely location for easy access to local attractions. The botanic gardens, Port Logan beach, Mull of Galloway etc.
Very well provided and clean facilities, helpful staff. Showers were clean, hot and free. Some pitches require longer than 25m hook up cable to we had to move when we arrived!
This site rates very highly, comparing favourably with good European sites. It's worth getting the Caravan Club subscription if you want to stay for a few nights as it saves £10 per night.
Very easy access to a lovely beach.

Great site, great location but we do not drive hundreds of miles to be greeted by unfriendly wardens. There is no rational explanation to keeping late arrivals outside the park when those already booked in can drive in and out of the barrier with their swipe cards. When we did eventually get on to the site other campers who arrived as 'on time' arrivals could proceed to spend 4 hours setting up, very late into the evening! We felt as though we were errant travellers owing to our tardy arrival! The wardens ought to do a 360 degree multi-source feedback exercise and reflect on the feedback to improve the quality of their customer focus.

This site is right by the beach of New England bay and great for access to watersports and fishing if that's your thing. Great for walks and just soaking up a really nice view.
Everything is very well equipped and well maintained.
We are newbys to Motorhoming and we found it difficult to figure out where we could pitch but we will get the hang of it.
It is also a bit costly if you are not Caravan Club members as you have to pay an extra £10 fee.
Overall a very good site.

Our second visit to this wonderful site and another fantastic week enjoyed by all. The locate is second to none and managed to pitch on the front row so only a stride away from the beach for the children.
Wardens are busy, but also friendly and cannot do enough to help should you need it.
No pubs near by and the one that was open in port Logan is now closed, nearest are now dummore. Very friendly locals when we called for a beer.
We also visited the harbour town of Port Patrick and ate in the Crown, excellent food and great hosts, well worth a drive to if you love sea food.
All in all a brilliant site and loads for the kids to do while the adults relax and enjoyed the sunshine.
