Very friendly staff, last time I was here was 2014, what a difference to the camp site,
Clean and tidy,
Perhaps a little vending machine selling milk and drink outside the reception.

We took our mum who is 90 to visit Ypres and needed a site close to town. This site ticked the box. On arrival we parked outside as we were just over 1 hour early.
Reception was clean easy to find. It’s straight in front of the gates. I said we are early was told no problem. Our pitch is ready.
We had pitch 15. Witch was ok but your parked in 3 so it’s more like the way you park at an aires. They have grass pitches that have more room. There is a factory behind. That has a fan going constantly slight humming. Toilets very clean. Showers hot.
Already planning a revisit as there’s so much to see.

Excellent location for things of interest in the area and to the Menin Gate, which is only a few minutes walk so an easy stroll down to hear The Last Post.
Heated facilities clean and tidy and plenty of hot water (being old school campers this was five star to us).
Would definitely go back again.

Loved everything about it we will be back 10/10.
Will certainly recommend to friends so close to town.
People on reception very helpful and friendly.
They gave us discount vouchers that we used in tourist information and helped gain access to museum.
Good recycling on site and also near an Aldi to stock up on essentials

A very easy booking process. I sent an email & got a very speedy & helpful response.
A lovely friendly, warm welcome from reception.
A clean & quiet, reasonably spacious site with very clean facilities.
A beautiful, 10 minute meadow walk into town which felt safe.
As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe & happy here ☺️

Third time at this site. Very convenient for Ypres itself and the surrounding towns.
We stayed on the hard standing pitches which was useful due to heavy rain.
Clean facilities and secure. A bit dark so torch is handy.
Beware noisy overnight due to nearby factory, but earplugs solve this.

Small site in great location with easy 10-15 mins walk through park into centre of Ypres for bars, restaurants, In Flanders Museum, Last Post ceremony at Menin Gate.
Also easy cycle or drive further afield to Zonebeke, Tye Cot Cemetry and Paschendale. Some minor road noise and from sports ground which didn't disturb us but also sound of birds and wildlife.
We had grass pitch with water and waste which were on a slope so needed wedges but was manageable.
Toilet and shower block is functional and clean with 2 x toilets each for male and female and then 3 x showers each for male and female. Entrance code (same as barrier) needed.
Only minor critics are only cold water at hand washing sink, and when site full may have to queue.
There is an entrance barrier where you have to drive up close to barrier before it will let you put in entrance code you're emailed before arrival.
Only word of warning is that once you enter code you need to drive through quickly, we witnessed a car and caravan exiting and the barrier came down on top of caravan before they were through!
Reception staff were pleasant and helpful.

Wanted a base to cycle tour of the Ypres salient and close to Menin Gate.
Perfect location, we used campsite bike hire and completed around 30 miles a day and bikes were just right for the job.
Pitch was ample and toilets clean and functional
Menin gate was around 5 mins away, and town just beyond
Great campsite for purpose listed.

E were attending the Menin Gate Ceremony. This site is a 10-minute walk to the Gate.
Beautifully kept site with lovely friendly welcoming staff.
This had just reopened after the COVID-19 restrictions so was a bit quiet. Lovely new facilities.
Surrounded by tress and a lovely walk via some ponds where you hear and see the bullfrogs singing at night.
Would most certainly come again
