This site could certainly show a lot of UK sites how to offer excellent ficilities and great value for money. Our pitch was level, had a high hedge on three side, had EHU and was close to the water point. Really I couldn't fault the facilities. All clean, well maintained and very reasonable.
There's a gate out the back of the site that exits straight onto a hard surface cycle path, along a river that takes you straight to Le Mont St Michel.
Do not under estimate how busy this place gets, we did. It is lovely but pedestrian grid lick meant we threw the towel in. Wish we had gone in really early but with mixed weather we had to take our chances when we could (along with everyone else it seemed)
Don't let this put you off, it's pretty amazing.
Enjoy!

We stayed here, for 5 nights, on a standard pitch with ehu. This was our 2nd visit and was as enjoyable as the 1st. As stated before, the town of Pontorson is a short stroll away with a great market on Wednesdays and lots of bars, cafes etc.
There is also a Carrefour supermarket just a short walk away. We cycled to Mont St Michel, along the canal towpath, and it is well worth a visit.
The only slight criticism I have is that the facilities block has no ventilation apart from the entrance door, so can get quite humid, especially when the temperatures are in the high 30's. The pool is very nice and refreshing on a hot day.
All in all a great site well worth a visit.

We went to Haliotis on a lux pitch with grand children as it was easy for them next to pitch. Toilet shower was perfect for us clean tidy for us on arrival.
There was plenty for them to do with a pet's farm swimming pool, table tennis, netball, football, and a bouncey castle. We went to alligator bay about 5 kilometer away cycle along river where there is turtle's, croc's.
There is a pizza van on site from 1800 to 2000 hrs. St Malo is 30 min's away not very good for parking motorhome.
There is a mcdonald's 15 min's cycle off main road along a lane good if you have young kids with you.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to the ferry at Cherbourg and wished we could've stayed longer!
The pitch we were allocated was fine - if a little on the small side compared to others that we stated on in France but large by UK standards!
Showers and toilets we fine - loads of hot water and no queues. The town of Pontorson was lovely and only a 5 minute walk away - we found a great pizzeria up a side street.
We will definitely return - and for more than 1 night!

Having been to this site many times in the past we were very disappointed by the drop in standards. Sanitary facilities are tired and dirty. The bar and pool area was scruffy. Pitches are poor with overgrown hedges and uncut grass. Everything seemed very unkempt by comparison with past experiences. The place need a major refurb.
Staff attitude was not as good either, the personal touch that was a trademark standard is now very 'matter of fact-like'
Definitely will not be going back

We were torn between heading for the Loire or the coast while going south (loosely) and decided a few nights here would allow us to make up our minds. It proved to be a good choice. The welcome was very friendly and the pitch was fine with free wifi that worked ok. The pitches are not large but perfectly adequate and hedged. The pool was closed however the bar was open and was fine. The facilities were perfectly good and were kept clean while we were there.
The town of Pontorson is not exciting however it was pleasant to browse around and the Super you supermarket was fine for our needs. The market was good and we found places for coffee and had a good meal out. We visited Mount Saint Michel taking the bus from Pontorson which runs regularly and takes you across the causeway and walked back along the river.

We stayed here with our 4 children in a standard pitch with electricity. The site is well maintained and has lots of really good qualities.
The park is great for the kids, and the animals too, although some of the fencing is electric which isn't stated anywhere that we could see!
The toilet are in my opinion inadequate for the size of the site. There are approximately 12 communal toilets for a site of over 120 pitches, so on many occasions there were queues and a lack of toilet paper!
The 'heated' pool was freezing my children were often shivering coming out of there, and I guess it's heating source is the sun and as we did not see much of that, then it didn't get warm!
The huge plus for this site is it's close location to Mont St Michel which is stunning to visit.

Our first experience with the tent in France with our children (5yrs & 2 yrs) and we had a fantastic time.
Site very easy to find with use of Sat Nav, short walk to town and supermarket. Wonderful location for the amount of places to visit. (Loved Dinan, St. Malo and Dinard - the Mont was beautiful but very overcrowded) and also, site although busy, not loud!
We booked a Grand Comfort pitch, when we arrived the previous campers on our pitch were able to advise us where not to pitch in case of bad weather as the week previously they had torrential rain which flooded their outfit. We pitched on the higher part, which had dried out quickly after the showers we had in the morning. As it turned out we were very lucky with the weather, all be it until it came time to pack up.
Reception very helpful. Spoke excellent English. We had drinks on the outside bar terrace after a (cold!) swim which was very pleasant.
Children's play area fantastic, especially the bouncy castle and mini farm.
Facilities very clean, showers good and only a short walk back to our pitch. Washing up facilities very clean and tidy.
Would not hesitate to return in future. Fantastic time had by all (even when packing up in the torrential rain!)

We stayed in August for 2 weeks with our 3 children; 6y, 3y and 10m.
We were in a basic pitch, which was nice because it was at the end of a cul de sac, so nice and quiet. Initially we were disappointed not to get the grand service pitch (the pitch with your own en-suite), but these were newer so a) didn't have grown hedges separating them from the next pitch b) were closer to the playground (mixed blessings on that one) c) closer to the road.
The playground is good: as well as the usual equipment there is also a permanently inflated bouncy castle, a trampoline and a covered kids club.
There are several lovely intimate gardens - a fish pond, a quiet gazebo, village games to play at your leisure such as hoopla, as well as a tennis court, table tennis and football.
The outdoor pool is quite small, and although has a jacuzzi and shallow toddler section, there isn't much else. It was advertised as heated, but barely. My 3 y old was shivering every day after 10 mins in there (we debated buying her a wet suit), so this was a real negative mark in our books.
The animal section is lovely, with goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, shetland ponies, hens, even a deluxe insect hotel!
The great selling point about this site is that it backs onto a superb cycling track. Cycle along it for about 5 miles and you reach Mont St Michel (and also Alligator Bay which is a great place to visit).
The showers were warm, with a children's / disabled shower (although the baby bath appeared to have no plug).
The on-site shop is minimal! You can order bread the day before, for collection, but that's it!
Advantage for parents of older children; you can sit at the bar which over-looks the pool, whilst your children swim in the pool.
Pontorson is a small town, within a 2 min walk from the campsite. It did seem to have an abundance of 'pizzerias' and not much else though!

We stayed here after a trip to Disney for a few days to wind down.
First impressions were excellent - we stayed on a private site P2 which was just opposite the kids playground - fantastic for 2 tired parents to get the tent pitched and set up while they played away and no hassle of worries.
The pitch was big and lots of room for our big tent and to park the car on to.
The site is very big but still lots of room between pitches.
Lovely pool which we used and loved.
There is a pets area with goats, ponies, rabbits and guinea pigs which were great to watch.
We also loved the old fashion wooden fair ground games and had great fun with these too.
The town of Pontorson is minutes walk away and there is a carrefour supermarket within walking distance of the site.
My only negative which is not the sites fault is the very loud noise from the nearby road - it doesn't stop all night - not as noticable during the day but at night its very loud.
The site was nice and quiet from about 10pm which was ideal for us with 4 small children.
