Probably the best site we've visited and definitely the best site in France so far. We indulged and had a deluxe pitch with bathroom, what a treat to have your own facilities for a few days, definitely worth paying extra for. The site is immaculate, the staff are incredibly helpful and the facilities excellent. Wifi is free but we could only pick it up in the bar area ! We visited Mont St Michel on the motorhome, then we cycled along the river at the back of the site to it again, very easy and flat about 9 kms. Great for families and very safe. You are in pontorson with a Carrefour across the road.

We stayed here on our way back to the port at Easter.
Good sized pitches, spotless facilities. Great play area for the children. Pleasant bar.
Easy access and within walking distance of the town.
The staff here were brilliant, exceptionally helpful - my mother was in hospital in the uk and they even let us ring home to check on her, when we were unable to get a mobile signal after a storm.
We felt this was exceptional service

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of September, I have to say must be the best site we have stayed on yet, if you can get one of the pitches with private bathroom, absolutely fantastic and worthy of a good hotel!
We loved the location within a few minutes walk of the town and short drive to Mt St Michel and the coast, couldn't be better.
The bar and pool are superb and staff very friendly, only regret that we hadnt booked a longer break.
Also lovely gardens with some pet animals which my wife loved and wanted to bring home, if you're visiting this area then I would definitely recommend you stay here

We booked four nights here on a superior plot with our own bathroom. Unfortunately due to the weather we only ended up staying one night. The pitch got water logged and I deemed it best to abandon ship.
Despite this, I would fully recommend this campsite. In good weather I magine our son (2 years ) would have found something to keep him entertained from dawn to dusk. There is a beautiful outdoor pool, a playground, fairground games, a japanese garden and a mini farm.
The only negative was that the free wifi didn't seem to work anywhere outside of the reception/bar.
The only improvement I could suggest would be the addition of an indoor pool for weather such as we encountered.

Excellent site, apart from the Mosquitos. Take repellent. Pitches fair size. Shower block excellent and cleaned four times a day. Carrefour supermarket is 5 minutes walk, and the village if Pontorson 5 mins in other direction. Cycleway from site along the river to Mont St Michel. Although since the ' improvements ' now a real tourist trap. Car park 8 euros 50. Site staff all speak English and all were really helpful. Washing machines 3 euros. Outdoor pool, but heated. Couldn't find fault with it at all and we had come to it with some scepticism having been recommended by people we met last year. We will be back.

We spent 2 nights here at the end of May during a 10 day tour of France.
This was by far our favourite site! We were lucky enough to be able to get one of the superior pitches which have their own bathrooms (toilet/shower/double wash basin and heating and pot washing sink) well worth the extra money and cleaned daily for you as well. Pitch sizes are excellent although some are tight to reverse into, very private and fairly level. There is plenty to do on site, children will be spoilt with the level of activities available, swimming pool area is excellent there is a sauna (extra charge) a bar, internet area laundry facilities are good for 3 euro's, cycle hire at 11 euro's a day. We cycled alongside the river to Mont St Michel a nice flat easy ride well worth doing. Local supermarkets and a really nice town/village (pontorson)are on the doorstep. The site is easy to find and well signposted. Make a detour to stop here if you can its well worth a visit. Staff are welcoming and very friendly.

We stayed here one night at the end of our holiday. We paid with camping cheques and rang ahead to reserve a pitch.
The site is easy to find but check in took a while but on reflection I think this was because we arrived at 2pm and they only had one lady on reception. She was inundated with phone calls and answered the phone instead of dealing with the growing queue of people in front of her.
We were allocated a standard pitch, it was a good size with a very slight upward slope from the access road. Some of the pitches were bigger again (grand comfort) and the ones with their own private facilities looked excellent. All pitches and the site as a whole were very well maintained and I loved the different themed garden areas.
The site was about half full on arrival but by 7pm it was almost full mainly with dutch and germans.
The swimming pool is really lovely and not too cold with a nice sheltered sunbathing area. The The loungers are really comfortable and not the usual hard white plastic ones. Theres a nice outside seating area with comfy seats overlooking the pool. We found the bar prices very reasonable. Bread and croissants are ordered the day before from reception.
Looking round the site they could cram in lots more pitches but its great they havent. The site has a lovely spacious feel about it. Our daughter enjoyed the farm animals and the old fashioned games in the various huts.
The loos and showers were very clean and at last we found a site with loo roll and soap! The washing up sinks were great, lots of hot water and the water pressure was excellent. A first this holiday!
We walked into Pontorson for a meal, the creperie nearest the site was closed on a Weds evening so we went into the next one which is on the right as you walk down the main street. It is recognisable by the arches at its entrance. The food and service was fantastic and the fish tank in an organ is a sight to see. I would very highly recommend the creperie.
The Carrefour only a 5 minute walk in the other direction is also really handy and the fuel was a great price.
To sum up we were sad only to have spent one night here, we'll definitely go back for a longer stay as I would love to cycle to Mont St Michel (the site bike hire was very reasonable) and I give it a big thumbs up.

Stopped here for 2 weeks in august with my wife and 14 year old son, site is very easy to find and access is good, reception was very quick in booking us in approx 5 mins. We had a serviced pitch with water and drains is was huge enough room for 2 caravans, all tarmac roads around site and well light at night. Only 1 toilet block but it is very clean we never had to queue for toilets or showers.
Swimming pool was very nice and clean, sauna could be booked at extra cost about the only thing you have to pay for. Small bar area at side of reception with a few loungers outside under umbrellas, pool table inside bar. Also on site 5 a side football pitch, tennis court, boules, badminton, golf, 2 table tennis tables, bouncy castles, trampolines and there all free. Small animals on site for kiddies goats sheep ducks chickens pony.
Cycle track at side of site takes you straight to St Mont Michel, 5 min walk to supermarket (carrefour or lidl) town center market on a weds.
Probably one of the best sites we have ever stopped on we will use again no doubt about it, 10 out 10 from us, try it you wont be disappointed.

Stayed here for a two week summer break with hubby, daughter and grandson. Plenty to do for kids on site. Bar a bit quiet and would benefit from a few more visitors!
Site was spotless. We had private bathroom which was brill.
There was plenty around to keep us busy and would certainly come back again.
Staff were brilliant and sorted any minor problems - light bulbs in bathroom etc immediately.
All in all a fab site well worth visiting. Pontarson is easily walked to with plenty of places to eat. Good cycle paths to Beauvoir and Mont st Michel
Loved it!

Stopped here for three nights in august. The site was easy to find and signposted, the staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Bread can be ordered the previous night. Local supermarket selling fuel on the road to st michel about 5 minutes walk from the site. Private sanitary unit was great. Only limited pitches but well worth the couple of extra euros. All other pitches around the site seemed to be well kept and spacious. Mont st michel was fantastic and we visted 6pm ish when day tourists were leaving and before it got busy again with the evening trade. Watching the sun go down from the abbaye has to be amongst the most stunning in the world, a must. Dinan about 40 minutes away was another 'worth a visit' trip. Lovely old streets friendly locals and history all around you. St malo on a friday is to avoid, market day and big queues for any parking. Half hour to the landing beaches from the site. Nice site and highly recommended.
