Our first visit to this site although we have stayed at all the other Morris Leisure sites in the past.
A very well maintained site with friendly staff. The toilet/shower block were up to the usual high standards and one of the warmest blocks I have ever walked into. I cannot fault the site or its staff. Level pitches and a shop that sells the essentials.
Ludlow is a 2 mile walk away along a busy road. The buses are practically none existent. Once in Ludlow it is quite hilly. There is a large Tesco shop with 2 hours free parking.
We called at the pub before the long walk back and a couple sitting opposite us ordered a taxi back to the campsite £6. 00 for the 2 mile drive!
I would stay here again.

Lovely site but poor public transport
We visited here for a few days to explore Ludlow.
We walk or use public transport from sites and although there us a service to the campsite, there are only 3 on a weekday, 2 on a Saturday and no service on Sundays.
Ludlow is about 2 miles away along a straight road which although not busy has fast moving traffic. There is a footpath the whole way slthough this narrows in places.
The site itself has s grand entrance and modern reception which also houses the shop. The shop has a selection of basic foods and lots of camping spares and equipment.
Wardens are most friendly and helpful and the pitches are large. We were on a serviced pitch in the adult only section but our hose would not reach the tap. On another pitch it would, it is just the way the posts are positioned and the size of the pitches. (and our hose)
There is no tv reception here and a long tv cable is required to reach the post hook up.
The toilet and washroom facilities are excellent with free showers and plenty of hot water.

Large site. Good hardstanding. Welcoming but a bit affronted to be charged 10p delivery charge when I bought a newspaper. Very warm and clean shower and toilet block. Good dog walk and dog friendly. Ludlow is about 30 mins walk away. Lovely old town and excellent castle. We walked it and took our scooter next visit. Shop very good on site.

Visited for the first time for 2 nights. The site is maintained to a very high standard with large hard standing pitches. The shower block is immaculate and the on site shop/accessories good. Perhaps it is because the site is relatively new (around 4 years), it feels so lacking in atmosphere. We decided to go into Ludlow collecting a bus timetable from Reception. Waiting at the Bus stop which is right outside the site we were joined by another couple from the site who told us to ignore the times we had. ?They had visited before and explained that walking into Ludlow means walking the main road which was noisy and fast traffic
Ludlow is a very nice place but like a lot of places Charity Shops rule. Plenty of eating places to make up for it. So if you do not have your own transport you may find it a struggle to find your way about Nice but would not go twice.

My wife and I booked to stay 5 nights beginning February 26th but due to the arrival of snow later in the week we had to stay on an extra 3 nights. Even on arrival the site was only sparsely occupied and by the time we left there were only 2 other units remaining so this review has to be read in the context of things not being busy.
The amenities block was spotlessly clean and despite the weather dipping into -6c they were always warm with unlimited hot water in the showers. The pitch sizes were large and the site is well laid out with a separate area for adults only. Road noise from the A49 was barely audible and most certainly unobtrusive so no need for anyone to be put off. Views from nearly all pitches are pleasant and look out onto fields.
The staff were just brilliant, they were friendly helpful and did everything to assist when the weather conditions deteriorated. I needed to purchase a new gas container and the warden kindly brought it to my pitch and fitted for me. When it was impossible to get off site the warden came to each caravan and asked if we needed anything from the shop in Ludlow as he was going to arrange for someone to go there.
We must make a VERY SPECIAL MENTION about Richard from Mercia Mobile Caravans. Our Alde heating boiler broke down on Saturday and we were not able to use gas and by nightfall we were very cold. We obtained the contact details off the web and I spoke with Richard who spent 20 minutes talking me through various things to rectify the problem but without success. I asked him if he would be willing to come out sometime on Sunday.
Despite being busy he was at our caravan by 8. 30am and over the next hour and half he worked tirelessly and fully resolved the problem and his fee was reasonably priced.
Due to the snow we were not able to visit much of the area but what we saw of the local scenery whetted our appetite to return. We would unreservedly recommend Ludlow Touring Park

Very good experience from checking in to leaving. All staff members helpful and friendly. Shower toilet block warm clean with plentiful hot water-no timed showers here. Shower cubicles spacious with hooks for clothes and bench to sit on.
Walkable from Ludlow but definitely need torches as unlit Road with the bonus of a pavement.
Only downside-almost no shelter as new trees need time to grow! In recent winds very hairy-especially as we had the porch awning up.
Wide pitches but don't line up your caravan with the peg as per cmc or you won't have enough room to park your car taking into consideration your aquaroll-the pegs are purely there to denote your pitch number-instead take more notice of the photograph in reception showing how to position your outfit.
Easy access and plenty of space at the book in lane. We would happily stay here again.

This site is not cheap but the facilities are spotlessly clean and warm. The pitches are a decent size and level (helpful when erecting an awning) and spaced well apart.
There is a modestly stocked shop at reception for vital items (but no bread).
My only gripes are the prices for using the washing machine and the cost of WiFi. You would think that for close on £30 per night WiFi might be included as it is on most sites on the continent which is where we camp most.

Excellent campsite as always with Morris Leisure. Showers the best I have ever experienced as they don't switch off. Nice roomy pitch. Its a 30 minute walk to the centre of Ludlow which is a delightful town.

We stayed for 6 nights meeting some friends from Gloucester. Its an hours easy drive for us being from Shropshire!
The site is in a nice setting with views to the nearby hills on the banks of the River Teme which can be reached through gates at the bottom of the site.
A well laid out site with big flat hard-standings, some are serviced pitches. There is an adults only area.
We received a friendly welcome from the ladies in reception, in fact all the team were cheerful and helpful.
If you are a CMC member you get a discount and can leave your card as a deposit for the key.
Facilities were spotless with good hot showers.
The shop sells a range of caravanning bits and bobs at reasonable prices.
A fish and chip van was there on Friday evening.
There is a good dog walk which our friends hound appreciated!
A 30 minute walk takes you into Ludlow which is a lovely town with frequent markets and several pubs and restaurants. A bus stop is situated at the entrance to the site.
There is an Aldi and Tesco in town where parking is reasonably priced.
The Ludlow food centre, on the A49 towards Shrewsbury is worth a visit with an attached restaurant.
There is some noise from the adjacent road and nearby railway but not obtrusive.
Wifi is available but we thought it a little expensive so used our mobile data, but service can be a bit patchy due to location.

Visited over the bank holiday weekend. Booking in very easy, helpful staff, £10 deposit needed for key to toilet block and barrier fob. Pitches well spaced out and mostly gravel, so take rock pegs if putting an awning up.
No TV reception, but you can buy a lead to connect to box on pitch for £15. Paid £5 for wifi which was spot on.
Good shop with lots of camping stuff in case you forget anything. Heated toilet block, but you only get one key as men and women's are both in same building, also the block is closed from 11 am until 12. 30 for cleaning.
Good dog walk area and children's play area. Very quite after about 10. 30 pm.
Half an hour walk into Ludlow, there is a bus stop but only a couple of buses a day. Also if you want a taxi you have to book it in advance.
Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning in the future
