This caravan park is really well set out. It has several serviced pitches, an adults only area, hard standing and grass pitches.

Although its new and the shrubbery has yet to be established it is already very nice and will only get better.

The pitches are large and you have all the facilities you would expect.

There is a large dog exercise area where you can let dogs off the lead, and a children's play area. It is situated on the banks of a river and is very peaceful.

We could not pick up tv on our standard tv ariel, although on our serviced pitch we had a tv hook up, most others seemed to be using satellite dishes.

Ludlow is a lovely town, very old and very pretty. Numerous pubs and restaurants.

I recommend the Charlton arms with a great view of the river, and the church pub which served lovely pies.

The walk to Ludlow would take a good half hour along a main road with a pavement ( not a very nice walk).

I would recommend this site and the town of Ludlow.

Just got back from a sun drenched long weekend, at the Morris Group’s new site at Ludlow. (Affiliated CC and CCC) This is a state of art site, serviced pitches, with TV connections on bollards (water pressure to high), chargeable WiFi, but I had my 3G dongle? As this site is new, only opened on the 9th May. The shrubs are not established so the site was windy and also a little road and rail noise; give it a couple of years and this will change. Dongle controlled in/out barriers (deposit or surrender your club card). Our pitch was on an adult only section of the site, which suited us. 135 level pitches mostly hard standing, with some grass ones. Sizes of pitch very large, enough space for caravan, awning and car side by side? The only thing is it was a bit of a trek to the amenities. You need the key that is supplied with the dongle to access the main door. The disabled toilet, laundry room, women to the left and men’s to the right were all accessed via this door, which were kept spotless all day. The reception opposite, with limited stock shop, but lots of caravan/camping accessory equipment, news papers. Chip van on site on Saturday. As the pitches are fully serviced, the trek may not be necessary, but for us the caravan loo is for night time liquid waste only. Service points were in abundance and only a couple of pitches away in any direction. Well lit with low level lighting, with high level at the service points. The site is fenced off with eco parts in the middle and a good fence along the river bank, the river is about 8m below the site so no worries about flooding?

Ludlow was walkable, but we did not because of the heat. A day trip out on the Severn valley Railway, from Bewdley to Bridgenorth on a Steam Train, a trip down memory lane which was only a short drive away by car.

Stayed Fri 25th & Sat 26th, weather was a scorcher. The amenities are excellent, possibly the best I've used, thou too hot! It was like being in a hospital! The 'closed for cleaning' period was excessive? 11am till 12. 30pm. The prices are quite high as with other Morris sites, but you get what you pay for I suppose? It does seem to attract the 'high end' campers and lacks character. This may improve as the flora gets established, at present the lawns, shrubs & trees are freshly planted. As for the 'Hard Standing' pitches, I'd definitely give them a miss if I stayed again. It seems to churn up easily, more like the escape lane on a steep hill! Horse/Carriage Camping/Grass not Camping/Granite chippings? I clocked 2. 5 miles to Ludlow, 'Taxi'. The site is a little too 'Clinical' for me, I may try it again in a few years time when it's more established?

Just returned from this super brand new site having stayed two nights for the Ludlow Spring Festival.

Ludlow town centre within easy 30-minute walk and a fiver for a cab back if needed.

Facilities fantastic, staff friendly and accommodating, well stocked shop and a visiting fish and chip van on Saturday evening.

Few minor “teething” probs with TV signal drop-out on super pitch and we couldn’t log-on to the wifi no-matter what we tried (maybe an instruction leaflet with the wifi voucher for Mac and Windows devices would be very useful).

Great site with an adults only section, looking forward to our next stay.
