As with other reviewers, found this to be a well laid out site which will be lovely in a while when the many trees planted provide some shelter, as it is it's quite exposed at the moment.
Good loos and showers kept very clean, very well stocked shop and a nice easy 20-5 min walk to Ludlow centre. Lovely level and well spaced pitches. We were opposite a group of 3 vans with several little kids and barely any noise, everyone was friendly and had a nice chat.
Our only criticism is the treatment received from the assistant manager. In all our years of camping we've never met such a poor example of customer service - we actually overheard him at one point walking past our pitch and criticising us to his colleague for using movers to park( all the other staff were lovely ) Questions were met with a curt yes/no and then being blanked.
This is our first time we have ever used a Morris group site and I have to say if this is the sort of people they employ we're very let down. Wouldn't return due to this, however, all other reviews say staff great so maybe a (very) off weekend for him. Shame as marred an otherwise lovely weekend.

In line with other reviews it is a new looking site. However it is a good well laid out site and all pitches were large and level.
We had one of the superpitches and everything was close to the pitch unlike some others we have seen.
TV reception excellent from the van so need to hook to the aerial point.
Location is a 30 minute walk from Ludlow - turn right out of the site and walk on the path all the way in. We did this twice with our kids and there is a hill to go down and back up at the end but otherwise nice little walk. When in Ludlow you are spoilt for choice if you havent got kids - more limited with kids but still good choice.
Back to the site: Showers block 1 off clean and well kept. However I would also agree with other peoples comments that is is annoying that you are having to wait at peak times - even though there were only 27 vans/motor homes on the site when we were there - while there are 3 showers and 3 toilets locked in both male and female areas.
If the site was full it may be a bit of a pain.
However overall we would return for a short weekend as it is easy to get to and Ludlow is a lovely market town that can supply all your foody and drink needs for a weekend in the van.
The Old Bull Ring Tavern caters well for both kids and adults but go early or book for sunday lunch!

We have visited this site a few times, the last been in December, The site is a bit out of Ludlow, and access must be from the South side. Follow the Cattle Market signs, not recommended to go through Ludlow.
Site facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean,
The staff are polite pleasant and very helpful
The shop is stocked with accessories for caravan or motorhome, and some food essentials, all at reasonable prices.

We stayed for 2 nights at Ludlow touring park. Although it is quite close to us we wanted to try it being Morris Leisure's new site to see if it was up to the standards of their other sites and we weren't disappointed.
The site is very well laid out and the pitches are level, hardstanding and spacious. I think they all have TV hook ups but this wasn't needed because there was a good reception on our normal caravan ariel.
The heated toilet/shower blocks were spotlessly clean just like the rest of the site. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we arrived late on the Friday night, they directed us to our pitch and said to pay the balance the next day at our convenience which was greatly appreciated when all you want to do is pitch up and open the wine!
There is a very well stocked shop on site with a large selection of caravan and camping goods. A nice little play area near the entrance which is fenced off for safety.
It is a good 25 min walk into Ludlow where there are a large choice of places to eat and drink.
In all we would highly recommend this site and we look forward to going back again - especially when the newly planted trees and shrubs have had time to mature.

We arrived on a Friday at @ 1.30pm and there was 20 other units checking in at the same time. The site was well organised for arrivals and this process was completed quickly and without fuss.
The pitch was a large gravel covered, level super pitch with 16amp, water and waste and a TV point. We pitched an awning and this was no issue and the pegs went in easily enough. The grass around the pitch was waterlogged and only got worse over the weekend with part of the site becoming flooded to 6' deep.
The site is barren with new growth yet to establish. This is a shame and once mature I am sure this will be a really nice site. The facilities were first class and always clean. The shop also was well stocked and reasonably priced.
Ludlow is 1.8 miles away and is a great town to visit and walk around.

Just returned from a 3 night stay, thurs, frid, sat. We found the site as expected from a new site to be very well laid out and very clean facilities,
We used pitch number 65 this being a fully serviced pitch. The size of the pitch was excellent, plenty of room for a car, caravan, and awning + a strip of grass to sit outside, we thought for the future the owner's should build an extra shower block at this end of the site as there are over 100 pitches here !
The site will be smashing when established and very private the approach to the check in was very good well marked out lanes with plenty of room to arrive and depart,
Ludlow very close by and plenty to see locally,
Really enjoyed our stay staff very helpful and polite will return again for sure.

This is a very new site and so it is open and sparse with very small trees which will of course grow. It can therefore get quite windy.
The approach is an easy one from the South only, do not go through Ludlow with a caravan. Reception is pleasant and the staff courteous and helpful.
The pitches are quite large, but have no separating hedge or anything. We had a superpitch with water, electricity and a drainage point. We did not use the TV. The gravel on the hardstandings is irritatingly easy to get in your caravan and shoes as it's fairly small size.
The toilet block is large and clean, with showers, WCs, wash cubicles and a 4-machine laundry. It was well designed and being like a wooden barn on the outside fits in well with the countryside around. The site was completely full for the Food Festival when we were there, but the facilities seemed to cope easily enough.
The shop sells mostly caravan hardware, with only a few groceries, which I thought a pity.
Wifi signal seems strong enough but we didn't use it. Radio reception is not too good.
The fish and chip van calls Friday and Saturday, its OK but nothing to write home about.
The site has good security.
All-in-all, its a good, well-regulated site, along the lines of the Caravan Club and Camping and Caravan Club, so some may find it a bit too formal. We saw one tent (with a car) when we were there, but it might have been related to an on-site caravan.
I have two gripes with regard to the site. One, it is quite noisy at times because of the proximity of the main A49 which carries a lot of traffic, east of the site. It starts early and goes on late. I do not think this is likely to improve with age, as it is already shielded by the riverside's mature trees. There is a railway there too, but not so busy. Another road borders the west side of the site which was less busy.
My second gripe is that there is a dedicated dog walking area on site but several too-lazy dog owners thought it acceptable to walk behind other people's units to exercise their dogs. Yes they had scoopers and bags, but, as a former dog owner myself and not wishing to go into the gory details, I know that only clears the bulk of the dog waste from the grass not all of it and it doesn't stop dogs urinating. Both of which are smelly and unacceptable, particularly in dry weather. The rules should be better enforced please.

If only they all could be like this, however this site needs time to blend into the environment, which will happen. They have spent a lot of time and money here and designed a very good site.
From the moment you pull off the road onto the site you feel space.
Late arrival hook-up. Check in arrival lane. Very efficient. Shop with so much stuff to buy, not just food but you could build a caravan with the amount in here.
Then down onto the site: adult or family. One way system. Massive pitch. Too much choice where to put awning, caravan and car. They look like you could easily put a 3m deep awning onto them.
16 amp hook up tv point and lights that show your way at night.
Water pressure a little high for my full serviced water float in my aqua roll
Showers and toilets like a swanky member’s club, shame it’s got some closed, the showers and toilets are out, they may be so busy that they have to close some off to keep the cleaning down. 6 toilets 6 showers and they are great
Security barrier for entry and exit which you don’t find very often, bonus
If I was pushed to find fault
A reseeding program for the bare patches of ground. Not many but a few stones that have migrated from the pitches onto the roads and a choice of pitch on arrival, but it gets 6 stars from me
So much to see around the area that would easily fill 2 weeks

We have just returned from a weekend at this site.
The facilities are very good, clean and tidy. The toilet block is located at The main reception as are all of the main facilities
The site is up to the standard of the other Morris Leisure sites.
The site is well laid out and the pitches are wide enough for car, van and awning.
There are two sets of wardens on site who were very helpful and friendly.
The site would be about a quarter full on our visit.
The toilet/ shower block has six toilets and showers for male and female. Though three showers and toilets were closed off in both male and female for no apparent reason other than less to clean.
We inquired about the site wifi but at £5 for five hours or £15 for a week we felt the price was too high after paying £30 a night for a super pitch. Other sites we have stayed at offer free wifi and more and more sites offer this as standard.
We had our fair share of rain whilst we were there and a few of the pitches flooded. Numbers 70, 86, 126, 127, 128 and 129. The water did eventually drain but these may be pitches to avoid when booking.
The chip van comes on a Saturday and is well worth a visit. Good quality and reasonably priced.
Ludlow is one and a half miles along a narrow footpath and takes about thirty minutes.
Ludlow is very nice with lots of good pubs and places to eat.
All in all we enjoyed our visit. The site is to a high standard but maybe Morris can offer free wifi and free visitor parking.
It does feel a bit more of a chain brand and a business foremost.

Just returned from 4 nights here for a family of 4 and one dog - £35 per night for a superpitch. The EHU was good, but TV reception poor and if you want to plug into the TV point you will need a good 10metre cable.
The site was very new and as it says in other reviews will be better when the trees and shrubs grow, at the moment it lacks character and doesn't have that 'campsite atmosphere', there is a large adult only section and the site is very quiet. You can not access the river as the gates to it are locked, as is the 2nd dog walk area.
The children's play area was fine for my 2 children (9 & 11) but is on the other side of the entrance barrier (behind a fence) and not in view of any of the caravans so if you had smaller children you would have to accompany them.
The toilets were immaculate and had lovely free hot showers, however you only get one key per pitch and they are closed between 11-12. 30 for cleaning, when only one toilet is in use for the whole site!
Ludlow is only walking distance for the keen walker along a path on the main road - not a nice walk. Ludlow itself is stunning and The Charlton Arms the nearest pub (at least a 30 minute walk) is beautiful overlooking the river & it does a wonderful Sunday roast.
The Church Inn in the town centre does a 'beer bat' of ales where you can sample a selection of local ales - a real winner with my husband!
All in all I would recommend Ludlow as a place to visit, however we will not return to the touring park as whilst it is clean and has good amenities it was too far away from anything for us and we felt it was overpriced for what it offered.
