This is a Caravan Club affiliated site and is run on the normal club regime although your pitch is allocated. As is now unfortunately the norm we were told to reverse our motor home onto the pitch, but this didn’t seem to be greatly enforced looking at some of the other vans.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Newspapers at the weekend on a first come first served basis.
Chip van on Saturday which we tried out and would say not the best but definitely not the worst that we have had. There was a good choice of food other than fish.
This is a large open site, but a lot of planting has been done and when the trees and shrubs grow it will have more character.
The facilities block was very warm but not kept quiet as clean as CC sites.
The pitches are of a large size. Half of the site is an adult only area.
We didn’t suffer from train or road noise.
The walk into Ludlow was fairly level and just over a mile. Although there is a bus stop outside the site, buses no longer stop there & buses from the nearest bus stop are 2 hourly. But Ludlow is well worth the walk.

It is what it is. A very spacious and new park which will be magnificent in 10 years time when the trees divide all the roads between plots. The shower block and toilets are spotless (but do you go to places to have a shower?). The shop is the best I have ever seen in that it stocks everything you need if something needs replacing for caravan or camping.
Yes, Ludlow is not just down the road but our 5 and 7 year olds made the walk and even walked back if only encouraged by an icecream back at site. We passed a few couples at the bus stop who thought it was too far to walk. It is very much a caravan club site with lots of middle aged couples. We had two children with us and the weekend we stayed, there were over 50 pitches occupied and we only saw one other child who was visiting.
Its definitely not full of families with kids on bikes or ball games between vans (the signs as soon as you get through the barrier say no roller skates, bikes or ball games).
Overall it was big, clean, modern, but more for middle England. I would go back again as a place to start the year off and air the van. Not really a family holiday site, but you cant fault it for all its facilities and amenities.

Stayed here in the depths of winter. Very easy to find, with excellent access. All pitches hard standing and large. TV reception poor and had to purchase long aerial lead in shop, which had a good selection of goods on sale. Facilities quite superb, and warm ! Site is near to beautiful Ludlow. Staff were very helpful, and a good selection of brochures on the district readily available. Would definitely stay here again.

Wet and windy weekend - miserable - No way!
Thanks to the owners wot a welcome we had !
We were with the Hereford caravan club and they could not do enough for us all. The wash rooms were really clean and warm too.
So if the weather is bad don't worry all you need to do is book at Ludlow Touring Park, you are sure of a great welcome and you wont even notice if the sunshines or not with great facilities and warm and friendly staff.
Lovely park I would gladly recommend it to any one.
So thanks again for a great weekend.

Second visit to this campsite and it didn't disappoint. Yes it is very caravan club, and the rules re pitching to the peg are becoming a little silly, if, for example, you have a continental van. Though the pitches here are huge so not too close to the neighbours anyway. Also the rule doesn't appear to be greatly enforced, we drove in forwards and another caravan had pitched as far left as possible on the pitch.
Staff seem pleasant and helpful, though had little need to interact with them.
Can't comment on the showers as we use our own facilities, but had a peek at them and they seem impressive. (and very warm).
My favourite part of the site is the excellent dog walking area. Large, fenced off so very safe, my retriever had great fun here. Many sites boast a dog walking area but when you get there its a 50 metre path, this one will not disappoint at all. Only thing I don't understand is they advertise 2 dog walking areas yet I've only ever seen the one in use? Not a problem as the one is sufficient but just seems strange to go to the expense of making this facility but then not use it? Also, why do so many dog owners not use it, preferring to wander round the pitches on leads? Surely a run in a safe field is far better!
And now to Ludlow. Great town, very dog friendly. Places of note are The Charlton Arms, you can book and eat in the conservatory with a dog and they are allowed in the bar. Had an excellent meal there. Also The Church pub in town allows dogs. And The Rose and Crown was very dog friendly allowing dogs anywhere, next time we will eat here as the staff were so friendly.
The walk into Ludlow is OK, its 1. 25 miles to the Charlton Arms, we have done it in the dark but a torch is essential.
Extremely likely to come back here, it is expensive but then you get what you pay for!. Will be lovely to see it when the trees and shrubs have grown.

A proper touring caravan site with great facilities and friendly staff. Too many sites today are more interested in static sales and as a result the touring pitches aren't in good spots. We spent 3 nights here so we could sample the famous Ludlow Food Festival which did not disappoint. The area around Ludlow is very pretty and the town itself is a little gem. We didn't see any boarded up empty shops or the same old chain stores you see in every clone town. Ludlow Touring Park seems to be quite new and this was reflected in the stunning toilet block. We had a fully serviced pitch which was very large but in fact all the pitches seemed very generous. The spacious reception also houses a shop with essential supplies. We will definitely go back to this lovely part of Shropshire and probably to the food festival. One cautionary tip if you are going to the food festival - Do not bother with overpriced special park and ride bus service to the food festival. It was £5 and dropped us a long way from the castle. The regular park and ride is cheaper and drops you right in the heart of things!

Have just returned from Ludlow Touring Park and found the park to be excellent. The showers were immaculate we could not find any faults what so ever, the shop was reasonably priced and well laid out.
The pitches were well laid out and large which would accommodate all different sizes of caravans, tents and camper vans. Even though the site is new over time it will mature and make the site even more appealing.
The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant especially Karen and Dave nothing was too much bother. We will definitely go again and we will recommend the site to our friends.
Ludlow is a lovely little village and well worth a visit but one negative is do not go to the Blue Boar Pub; we had a meal for 6 in this pub and to be honest is was the worst meal we ever had

Just returned from a week-end here. We have stayed at other Morris parks but first time here. All the other parks are excellent and have outstanding facilities and Ludlow is the same. Spotlessly clean shower & toilet block and level spacious pitches. Helpful staff and well stocked shop. Ludlow is about 1 1/2 miles away, is steeped in history and has many pubs, bars and eateries to suit all budgets.
Can't fault this site, advertised as five stars, and it is what it says on the tin! Would have been good to be a bit closer to Ludlow as bus service is limited but taxi was reasonably priced as well so not too bad. Just a small gripe really.

We have just returned from this touring park but will not be visiting again. The park itself is very spacious and the facilities were spotless with plenty of hot water available all the time for showers. It is ideally located for visiting Ludlow and some of the other lovely places around (highly recommend a visit to Hampton Court Castle!). We walked into Ludlow on a number of occasions and although the road in is very busy we didn't find it put us off walking in. Having highlighted the positives the negative, and the reason we won't be returning, was the staff who were in charge. We have never been to any park either in this country or France and encountered such detached people as these two couples. They were friendly on arrival and that was it really. We had to buy a battery whilst on site to try and sort out a problem we had. On subsequent visits to the shop/reception there was never an enquiry as to how we had got on - they had made the money and that was all that bothered them as far as we could see. Most places we've stayed staff or site owners have been out to have a look and chat to visitors about about what they were trying to do and offering advice. If you encountered one of them on site they would completely blank you and on leaving we were given back our caravan club card with the words have a safe journey. No enquiry as to whether we had enjoyed our stay or hope to see you again - nothing! Not on our list of revisits!

We stayed at this site for 2 nights in early July, on our way to Wales.
The touring park is very new and built on an old RAF base. The pitches are all level with a good mixture of grass and hardstanding, full serviced pitches and also pitches with electric hook up and tv. Part of the park is sectioned off for adults only.
The park has a motorhome service point situated just inside the park barriers which makes it accessible when entering and leaving the park. All refuse bins, chemical disposal and grey water, fresh water points are well located throughout the park.
The toilet block and washing up facilities, laundry, shop, information office and reception are all located in a central block.
The shop stocks a lot of spare parts and accessories for caravans, and also a decent stock of groceries and fresh milk.
The showers toilets etc, are kept very clean, and there is lots of hot water in the showers and sinks, with proper taps, and not the press button type. The unit is also centrally heated and kept at a very warm temperature.
Situated at the top of the park is a dog area, where you can let your dog run off its lead in a big field. The area is well fenced so to stop your dog escaping on to the road.
The site is 30 minutes walk into Ludlow, on a flat main road. There is a bus service, but it is worth noting for dog owners that the local bus company do not allow dogs except for guide and hearing dogs.
The staff on the site were very friendly, and very efficient with their booking in and booking out system.
The price for our 2 nights was £54 which was hardstanding with EHO, which is not cheap, but it is well worth it.
