Absolutely wonderful site! Excellent toilet, washing and showering facilities which were spotlessly clean and wonderfully warm. Very well equipped laundry. The staff were so lovely and gave us lots of help and useful advice as this was our first ever trip camping.
I would highly recommend this beautiful site to anyone.

Am still not sure how I feel about this site- we only visited because our usual one was full. There were four people in reception and the welcome was warm enough but the site itself just seemed to lack atmosphere. I went to the dog walk to relieve the pooch and the dustbin was overflowing even though there were only about six dogs on site. When I asked at reception if the bin could be emptied I was told 'when we have time!'. Wrong answer. The customer comes first!
The toilet facilities were spotless but I felt as if I was in a public toilet-no welcoming features at all. The showers though were turn on taps so great to have a long soak.
The walk into Ludlow is not pleasant by a busy road and in the dark now the clocks have gone back. Would I return-probably but its not top of my list. Glad we only paid the low season rate-its not worth peak season prices.

The site was well signposted and easy to access. The layout was spacious and the landscaping beautifully managed. The cleanliness of the site was excellent and the toilet block was superbly appointed and immaculately maintained.
This is the second time we have stayed on this site and as previously the staff were most obliging and even though we arrived as the office was closing this time, they allowed us to get pitched rather than stay on the late night arrivals. They were friendly thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay.
I am surprised that such a lovely site is not fully booked but this could be due to the time of our stay or maybe because the walk into town takes around 30 minutes. More local buses would be a benefit particularly for motorhomers.
Overall could thoroughly recommend.

We stayed here for just one night to break up our journey further north. In all honesty this is one of the oddest sites we've ever stayed on!
It is a very new site and everything is absolutely perfect - manicured lawns, perfectly aligned pitches and shiny new fencing. The site is divided up into separate areas for families and adults only which made us quite nervous staying with an unwieldy toddler who doesn't understand how to be quiet and can't yet read signs. Oddly, we weren't asked whether we had children when we booked but on arrival an off the cuff comment I made about the baby keeping us up all night alerted the receptionist who swapped our pitch for one in the family area.
Water points, chemical disposal and grey water waste points are dotted around all over the site which is great as you never have too far to walk. There's an immaculate play area and the shop is probably the best we have ever seen with an incredible array of camping goods from chairs to safari chefs, pumps, hoses and spare parts.
The walk into Ludlow isn't pleasant - it's lengthy, boring and along a very busy main road with huge lorries flying past at high speeds. The destination is worth it in the end though, Ludlow itself is a gorgeous town with lots of lovely eateries and shops.
Its very hard to score this site - it should be amazing but it was lacking in personality as if it hasn't quite yet worked out what it is yet. I wouldn't rush back but we may return in a couple of years to see how it has developed.

Another of the excellent Morris Leisure sites, Ludlow is the newest and probably biggest of the sites but certainly not the best! although we visited at the peak of the holiday season the site was virtually empty, the units on site were all spread across the big site and there was no atmosphere at all! There is no access to the river as the gates are locked (the river bank is supposed to be a SSI but why I don't know) so the only escapes from the site are either take the car / van or walk the busy 1. 5 miles into Ludlow itself. The site although relatively new is not as well kept as the other sites we've visited and the shower block although clean could be cleaner. And the pitches are not as well kept for example two units left on one side of us and the pitch markers which had fallen on the ground are still there three days later although site staff do drive by infrequently, and litter had been left laying around since we arrived. To sum things up, this is not the site for children and not the site if you like to socialize, our neighbours left two days early as they really couldn't get on with the site and we're considering doing the same - nothing major wrong with the site itself but there's something that's just not welcoming - we won't be back to Ludlow but the other Morris sites yes certainly.

Now visited all 4 of the parks in the Morrison's group. As always standard is very high BUT we liked Ludlow site the least of the 4. So flat & huge it resembles a race course. Lots of areas left for 'conservation', as the site is still very 'new, ' but these are so overgrown they make the site look unkempt. They need some attention before the weeds become so woody and high they swamp everything else. We have been to sites previously which have conservation areas but they have been managed so only the right type of trees, grasses and shrubs are left.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great to have daily papers. Shop stocks some basic foods and equipment.
The facilities are excellent and basically kept clean and tidy but more intensive cleaning needs to take place i. E. Doors and partitions in WC's and showers which never seem to be cleaned, to maintain that standard. Also bins round the site could do with being emptied x2 daily as they get full esp at weekends. Chemical waste sluices should be brushed round daily (did not see this happen at all) unlike on C. C sites to which this site is affiliated. We would be happy to revisit again in a few years when site has 'matured'.

Ludlow is part of a group of four touring parks it is a fairly new purpose built caravan club affiliated and approximately one mile out of Ludlow. Large well spaced grass and hard standing pitches with extensive grass and landscaped areas. All roads are Tarmac water points are located in several points in the park. The amenities are all housed together near the entrance and reception. Toilets, showers, disabled facilities, baby room and laundry are In the key operated heated building with washing up in a separate room.
There is an electronically operated entry barrier (deposit required for barrier key).
The park is divided into several different sections with some adults only areas. With and larger grass and hard standing super pitches nearer the river. Some of the pitches nearer the river are a considerable distance from the amenities block,
There is no access to the river. A large dog exercise area is accessible from a Tarmac path.
The footpath to Ludlow from outside the site is alongside a fairly busy road. There is a two hourly bus service with the bus stop five+ minutes walk from the site. Ludlow is a beautiful market town with mostly individual shops and many historical buildings.
Mobile signal is variable, wifi is slow, we used our own mifi router the sites own wifi (£5 for 48 hours) may be faster. TV reception was good.

Approach - off a main bypass, so very easy access and easy to find, accommodates 5th wheels so no issues for any size of outfit.
Staff on arrival - Friendly and helpful as ever.
Pitch - we had a fully serviced pitch, all pitches are a fair size, agree with previous review, when the trees have grown and the hedges are established it will make the site even better.
Facilities - plenty of showers, not push button or pay as go! a laundry, very well stocked shop, dog walking, play area, adults only area, information area, site has everything really, I've never been on a cleaner site, its not just clean because its relatively new, its kept clean, which must be quite hard work.
Local area - ludlow is a lovely market town which has something for everyone. There are also walks from the site and plenty of walks over the Shropshire hills a short drive away.
Summary - very nice modern site, nothing negative to say about this site at all, shame the shuttle has stopped running from the site to the town on festival weekends, but its not far to walk. It is more expensive than some sites, but I guess you get what you pay for and this is a five star site.

We have just returned from visiting this fairly new site at Ludlow. This means that we have now visited all the sites which are part of the Morris group. With high expectation of this site at Ludlow, we were not disappointed. This immaculate site was a pleasure to stay on. With plenty of room between each individual pitch, and gravel hard standing, you would be able to camp any time of the year. There is a lovely play area next to reception for any children that are staying (we didn't have our grandchildren with us this time), and because of the distance from the road we would have no hesitation in taking them with us another time. The reception area has a shop facility as well as a lounge area and there is an information room just next to the shop. The site was really quiet through the night and split into a family/children area and an adult only area, so you have a choice where to stay. There is a motorhome drop water point and an area outside the barrier for late night arrivals although probably only large enough for 2 caravans and tow cars. All in all a very nice and well laid out site with friendly staff, and immaculate toilet facilities.

Everything has already been said about this site, the pitch for my tent was hard standing which gave me a few problems pegging out but soon overcame with more substantial pegs. Loved it as I went into the adults only section so was reasonably quiet. Ludlow is a great place to visit especially on foot, with plenty of good quality shops, pubs and eateries to visit. Overall a superb site and will definitely return in the future.
