We stayed for two nights while visiting family nearby. We received a friendly greeting when we arrived and our pitch was pointed out to us on the site map; in fact we could see it from the reception. This is because the site itself is very open with no screening between pitches and on a grey January day this makes the place seem quite bleak. The pitches themselves are flat and well maintained. This lack of visual definition is also a drawback at night when the lighting is quite poor; don't forget your torch!
The facilities block is warm, modern and very clean. The big drawback is the fact that entry is with a key, meaning that each pitch has its own key and entry/exit fob for the barrier at the entrance. Between us over two days my wife and I must have got all the way to the toilet block half a dozen times before we realised we'd left the key in our van. Surely it would be cheaper and easier all round if they had a coded lock entry system.
The dog walk is by the top of the access road to the site and is a large field which the dogs can run around in securely.
The site is easy to find and access roads are very good but there is quite a lot of road noise from the A49. Ludlow is about a 5 minute drive away.

Stayed here in September and the site was full. Come 10 to 10. 30 the site is very quiet. The staff are all very friendly, nothing seems to much trouble. I had a problem with my van on arrival at about 5. 45. Some one had cracked our van window with their mirror on the journey there. The reception was closed and I was directed to the duty manager sign where you ring a bell I asked the member of staff ( I now know was the manager and called Dave ) for some duct tape to buy. He asked why and having explained he said go to your pitch and I will pop over in a short while. He was there in 5 minutes and did a temporary repair which lasted for our stay and the journey home.
I have read reviews on other sites about the staff being unfriendly but I imagine they have done something to make them this way. During my stay the staff were always friendly and helpful and the park is well run. We will definitely be returning.
Keep up the good work, this his how all campsites should be run.

What a brilliant site. This was our 2nd time at a Morris site both excellent. Cannot fault either. Toilet facilities spotless, an excellent shop, spacious pitches and very helpful staff. A short journey into beautiful Ludlow. Will be back for sure.

Superb site. Easy to locate and great access.
Immaculate clean at all times, even when busy it was spotless. Facilities great, clean and tidy.
Tarmac roads might not be to everyone's taste but it was easy to get on /off pitch and protected the lovely grass areas. Large pitches with plenty of space to relaxing, eating out etc.
Reception and welcome from staff very pleasant and helpful.
Great location, walking distance to bus stop/Ludlow which is a beautiful town.
1st class site in a lovely setting.

Had a very nice long weekend here on approach too caravan park you know you are going too a qulaity site reception is very nice and well stocked with caravan accessories, spares and food stuffs. After reception you go through the security barriers in to the park which is very nicely laid out there is a separate adults only section, , there plenty of fresh water and waste points with rubbish bins along with good sized hard standing pitches there are serviced piches and some grass pitches
There is only one toilet block next too reception but its of good size and heated too a nice degree if you are staying at the bottom end of site you will have a small walk too toilet block approx a couple of minutes or three !
A dog walk is located at the top of the approach road which is fenced in but it does seem too get a bit water logged
A kids play ground is also on site which looked ok but I didn't try it out !, , , wifi is also on site at a small extra charge but it did work quite well
As others have said ludlow is close by with a couple of super markets, tesco and aldi
All in all its a very good site I will be returning

Stayed at this site over the New Year Period on a hard standing pitch. The weather did not help us to see this site at it's best I feel. The facilities at the site were excellent with a clean and spacious shower block and wash up room. The site has a well stocked shop. The site is very easy to find and has excellent access from the road. Ludlow is very easy to get to - approx. A 15 minute walk away. I will definitely be returning to this site in the summer. The only thing I can criticise about the site is that a bin is needed in the wash-up room. To summarise, this site is what you expect from a Morris Leisure site.

Immaculate facilities at this spacious site, showers, toilets, etc.
Wardens were very helpful on arrival. Shop is well stocked up.
A walk into Ludlow is about 25 mins, along a busy road, but there is a pavement. There is a woodland walk not far from the site, details at reception. We had the 3 nights for the price of 2 offer during November and although the weather wasn't at its best, we enjoyed our stay.

Hardstanding pitch that we had was ideal.
It was close to all amenities on site such as washrooms and toilets.
We we were close to water taps and waste disposal.
Washroom/toilets were impressive and plenty of them.
The shop in reception had quite a few items that were needed for your stay but if not there you had to go to town.
Play ground looked safe and well maintained.
There were all grass pitches as well and these were all well maintained.
Very little noise as the site was way back of the road.
Very easy to find and good access.
The town was about a mile from the site and about 25 minute casual walk.
It would be better I think if there could have been some sort of shuttle system to use instead of either walking or taking your own vehicle in.
There were numerous bars, shops and restaurants in Ludlow but nothing closer.
But apart from that it was still a 5 star site.

We have just returned from a 4-night stay at Ludlow Touring Park. The site is quiet and peaceful and is in a beautiful part of the country with several National Trust and English Heritage attractions to visit. (Our favourite was Stokesay Castle. ) The pitches are large and many of them are super pitches. The site is landscaped and is well set out. We particularly appreciated the fact that there is an 'adult only' section and also the fact that the playground is not in the middle of the site. The washrooms are clean and very warm (perhaps a little too warm in summer!) The shop appeared to be well-stocked, although we didn't actually use it. There is also a loyalty card scheme with a free night every 12 nights. All in all, we had a lovely stay and we shall return.
