We have just returned from a five night stay at this campsite.

It was such just a lovely campsite to relax at.

The pitches were well spaced giving plenty of space for every caravan and the hard standing was a bonus.

The village was not that far away with a few shops which we used and found very handy, the village also has a few pubs which serve very nice meals. One only 300 staggers away,(The site owners words).

We did have a little aircraft noise but this did not worry use.

The toilets and showers were heated and very clean, they have three blocks spaced over the site.

Only a hand full of children visited while we stayed here, possible due to them being at school.

The area is very nice with Christchurch and Ringwood not far away.

We would come again if in the area.

We visited this site over the Halloween weekend. We were put on a pitch with the views over the paddocks with goats, horses and Shetland ponies in. The pitches were very spacious not too close together, the site was very well maintained. The toilet block was always clean and there was always lots of hot water. Everything you could want was here, the shops were not to far away and there were quite a few pubs in the area a couple within walking distance. We had a great time, nice and quite with lots in the area to visit. We will definitely be staying here again.

What a brilliant camp site, plenty of room for you tent and parking of car without encroaching on other users space. Pitch nice and level. Showers outstanding plenty of room to shower and dry (that includes taking the children with me). Large areas for children to play, plenty of water points around. You really feel relaxed. The only dislike, no fault of the site, having no fridge the nearest shop for milk, bread etc just a bit more than a walk away.

My wife myself and two daughters (12 & 13) really enjoyed our stay here. Firstly the showers are fantastic and spotlessly clean whenever we used them and didn't have to queue once. Loads of hot water ace ! No shop on site but co-op not far and lovely pubs short distance away. The two pubs we had superb meals in were The lamb about 2 miles away and the Three Tuns about a 5 minute walk. Boyh a little dear but quality superb, went for cheaper at The Crown and was rubbish only paid for two meals other two as so poor. Would definitely visit again and best beach we went to was boscombe beach where we all surfed me only with a wetsuit as I a bit of wusss !

We have just spent two nights here to visit the Bournemouth Air Festival. It was our first camping experience (so nothing to compare it with)but we were very pleasantly surprised. We had a designated pitch which was far larger than we had expected (in a 'tent only' field). The showers were very clean and hot(only 3 womens and 3 mens - but mid August and we didn't have to queue), the toilets were very clean. There wasn't any playground or shop on site, but we didn't spend any time at the site during the day so this wasn't a problem for us. There was lots of grassy area for our two young boys to kick a ball around which was great. The site certainly wasn't noisy and was very quiet after about 10pm. I suppose it depends what you want/need from a site, but it was perfect for us this weekend (10 minute drive to an AirShow Park & Ride) and we'd definitely go back when visiting the Bournemouth area.

My partner and I stayed for one week in the Summer. On arrival we found that our pitch was in the 'tent field', which was clearly a paddock and was on the edge of a great expanse of field which offered no protection / privacy. Pictures online do not show this, nor was it explained that we'd be in an overflow field. The ground was very stony and the camp owners did not have hammer to help us with this.

Facilities were a long way away, with only 2 small sinks outside for washing up. The toilets were old and were often without paper. Showers were of similar age as the toilets, but were clean.

We visited with friends as we had both just bought new motorhomes and wanted to try them out before the annual French trip. Found the site easily enough, hadn't booked but no problem. Had pitches next to each other, on level hardstanding with grassy area in between. First stop was to check out the shower block - best we've seen in UK. 92 year old mother had no problem, didn't even need the disabled one as seats provided in all cubicles. Nicest thing about the site was the peace and quiet - we were before the school hols and there were no children ! BLISS ! (I know, we're grumpy old gits but we've done the bringing-up.) Village is an easy walk and has the essentials. We also went for a day to Christchurch on the bus - take your free pass with you, otherwise it costs £4.50 each return ! Sammy Miller's Motorbike Museum is close and we spent a most enjoyable day there too. All in all, a very successful and pleasant stay, one we're hoping to repeat with an American visitor in September.

We stayed here for a short break in a tent in August.

The location is good, nice and peaceful and about a 5-10 minute drive from the beach or 10 min walk to a good pub.

The downsides are that there are only 3 or 4 showers for the ladies which just wasn't enough for everyone on the campsite. The toilet block was also far away from the tent field. The toilet block and shower block weren't cleaned often enough while we were there - the toilet block ran out of toilet roll and the shower was blocked so water was swimming round my ankles.

Myself, my two boys and my sisters family stayed here at the end of July. It was an absolutely lovely site.

We stayed in the tent field which was at the end of the site. So the only cars were from the people staying in the field. You get given pitch numbers. I would have been happy with any pitch. They were very spacious. We had plenty of room even though we had large tents. The pitches are all around the outside of the field with a large space for the kids in the middle.

One of the fields next to the tent field had horses and ponies in.

There were only 2 sinks for washing up which served the people in tents and caravans. We never had a problem with waiting though. There was a toilet block in the caravan area near the tent field and also a toilet and shower block at the other end of the caravan site (took less than 2 mins to walk to). They were very nice and cleaned and stocked often.

The week we went was very wet and windy but we still managed to have a lovely time.

Overall the site was exceptional. Very pretty, lovely people and I would definitely recommend.

We have just returned from our longest trip yet, 2 weeks at Harrow Wood and it was fantastic.

Starting with the site, we arrived early saturday afternoon the booking having been paid for in full in advance and the reception was closed but a little notice in the window showed that days arrivals with a pitch number and a map of the site, so off we went and found our pitch. The site is laid out beautifully with all the units around the edge of the field. Our pitch, a tent with hook up so not in the tent field, was behind the laundry block facing the huge grassy area. Loads of room thereore in front of us for the kids to play out, in fact so much room that there were tennis, badminton and games of tig, etc all going on at once with still loads of space for everyone. And even though we had our fair share of rain, mainly at night luckily, the site and playing field never got the slightest bit muddy, it was either exceptionally dry or, more likely, very well drained.

Behind us, the laundry as mentioned then the largest of the 3 toilets blocks and the one with the showers no extra charge for these and always plenty of hot water regardless of time, day and night, and even though the site got busier and was full during our second week, I only had to wait for a shower once and that was not for long.

Over the whole 2 weeks we used the reception once and the lady was very cheery and helpful.

The area is absolutely wonderful too, the New forest was a delight to cycle and walk round, the village of Bransgore has everything you could need, and the local co-op is fantastically stocked although should you need it Sainsbury is only a 10 minute drive away. The village pubs are good too, the Crown is mid price and good food, the Three Tuns is nice but over priced and trying to cash in on the gastro pub image I thought and do avoid the Fillet steak, 23 quid and poorly cooked! We found a 3rd pub too, I think it was the Carpenters arms, and wish we had found it sooner, fabulous food, home cooked and well priced, best of the 3 in our opinion.

We visited Beaulieu Motor Museum, Monkey world (those chimps are so funny), Bovington Tank Museum, The New Forest Show and Splashdown water park in Poole was a favorite for the Kids.

The nearest beach was Avon beach and this too was clean and busy and had a nice little cafe for chips and drinks.

There is so much to see and do down there that I don't think I can cover it in a review, but suffice to say that we will be back again in the future.
