Attractive site with level and spacious pitches. We had lots of rain but the site was well drained. 10 min walk into the village. The bakery was fabulous.
We were hoping to get about using public transport to save moving the motorhome, but bus services were very limited and weren’t running at all during our stay - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only which we missed !
A great spot if you have your car with you.

Lovely site with great, clean facilities. Very quiet, although it was out of season. Absolutely huge pitch.
Very helpful lady on reception loaned us an EHU lead for the night and wouldn't take any money for it, which saved a trip to the camp shop.
Only thing that would improve the site would be the addition of re-cycling bins, although we just brought our re-cycling home which wasn't an issue.

Wonderful site surrounded by the New forest.
The owners were organised with pitches stated on a list at reception, having paid in advance.
Went straight onto the site, found our pitch and settled in.
Toilet block was always clean, available and with plenty of toilet rolls and soap.
We enjoyed seeing a variety of birds whilst on site.
Sorry to only stay one night, but hope to return!

Beautiful site with lovely views, excellent facilities and friendly staff. Handy for exploring the western New Forest and East Dorset.
The on site shop sells the cider which is made on site and is well worth trying. Even though it’s a farm, it’s in the heart of Bransgore Village, which has a Coop food store and a bakery as well as a Chinese takeaway and a garden centre with cafe selling delicious cakes. The site also has a charming walk around the fishing lake and woodland.
Handy for three pubs which serve food. We only tried the Three Tuns which had an excellent selection of vegetarian options very different from the usual risotto or lasagne.
We cycled to the nearby disused railway line which goes all the way to Brockenhurst, a charming town complete with ponies.
We also walked to Christchurch ( about 5 miles) down quiet country lanes apart from the last section along a busy bypass. Luckily we went on a Monday which turned out to be Market day. We caught a bus back to very close to the campsite so it would be possible to go both ways by bus if not up to walking. The bus is the Buster Forest Explorer which goes to other destinations too.
Burley is about 3 miles north and has a range of eateries including another local cider vendor, who also have a cafe and shop selling local produce such as interesting cheeses and delicious cakes and greengroceries.

This campsite is very clean with hot showers and maintained well. They compiled with covid regulations and it felt very relaxed, safe and quiet.
There is no shop on site but one within walking distance as well as three decent pubs, the Three Tuns being a few minutes walk away with excellent ales!
You are completely left alone to enjoy your stay at Harrow Wood which was perfect for us to get away from all the covid stresses we are currently living in. Thank you Harrow Wood!

The site staff where very welcoming on our arrival and through out our stay.
The site and toilet/ shower blocks where very clean, if a little outdated.
The weather was good and we enjoyed our stay very much.

The last time I stayed here was around 48 years ago and as an 11 year old interested in the countryside it was idyllic
So when I returned last weekend, I was really pleased to see that essential nature hasn't changed, admittedly there are now toilets (only chemical toilet disposal all those years ago), showers and all that you'd expect on a modern campsite.
The pitches are well spaced and the facilities clean and never seemed busy (even though the site was fully booked)
The location is great for both the New Forest and Beaches at Mudeford, Highcliffe and New Milton, Bournemouth is an easy drive as is Lymington so location is great
Can't really fault it, long may it continue

We spent 5 nights on this site in a party of 3 adults and 2 children. Access is 'interesting' because it is not signposted off 2 of the village approach roads. The site is flat, open and well laid out with hard standings and grass areas for awnings, etc. There are also a couple of grassed tent fields.
There are 3 amenity blocks, but only one houses showers. 3 showers 'each side' does not seem adequate, but none of our party had to queue. Blocks were cleaned regularly but some of the clientele made that an uphill task.
Bransgore village has a Co-op and a handful of shops and pubs.
The Somerton area of Christchurch is only a 10 minute drive away and boasts Sainsbury's, Aldi and Lidl as well as a couple of chain restaurants eg Toby Carvery, Beefeater, etc.
All the delights of the New Forest are a short drive away with Burley and Brockenhurst particular favourites. Lymington, Ringwood and Christchurch are also within easy reach and a party on a neighbouring pitch were keen to tell us about a train outing they'd had to Poole from nearby Hinton Admiral station.
The site has much to commend it
