We visit this site regularly. It's in an excellent location for exploring the north Lakes.
Threlkeld has a couple of excellent pubs and Keswick is just a few miles away.
Facilities spotless. Really friendly owners.
Superb site!

Stayed here for a couple of nights to take advantage of some lovely sunny, warm weather! It was our second visit, the last one being last November when we also had sunny, warm conditions. It's a lovely spot, beautifully kept and quiet yet only a stones throw from the main road which doesn't intrude at all. The pitches are spacious and have individual water taps, T. V aerial sockets and electric hook ups, waste water drains are also on the pitches. Just one toilet and shower for male and female but despite the site being full we never had to wait. We enjoyed a lovely leisurely lunch on the terrace at Keswick Golf Club which is just a short walk away, the food was lovely and not expensive and the ladies working there were very friendly and welcoming, we will definitely return to both the campsite and the golf club!

Great site - by far the best in the area - and we've stayed on several and looked at and discounted many others. Great location - just off A66 but no traffic noise; handy for Keswick and rest of Lakes; only a dozen or so pitches, so quiet; spacious pitches - which will be even more private once the hedging grows a bit more; water supply to each pitch is handy; lovely walks from site along small river and through fields, spotlessly clean loo/showers. The owners are delightful too! Highly recommended. Not the cheapest but well worth every pound. We will return. Hopefully there'll be another loo/shower installed so no queueing!

We were welcomed onto the site and shown our very spacious fully serviced pitch. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate. The location within easy walking distance to the lovely village of Threlkeld, excellent walking tracks from the site and easy accessibility to Keswick, make it the perfect place to stay in the Lakes. A fabulous site.

We recently spent two weeks at this very welcoming working farm campsite. Appreciating this delightful couple were hard working farmers, we valued their efforts of providing a service pitch to all placements, attractive flower boxes at each pitch, and very clean toilet/shower at all times.
The views from the site are stunning and every effort has been made to ensure each pitch can enjoy the scenery as told in the dialogue.
We enjoyed the field of orphan lambs and their antics as our entertainment.
This location was within very easy reach of local pubs, various walks close by, and a short drive to the pretty town of Keswick, as well as good central access to the Lakes.
We will not hesitate to return to this site and location.
Thank you Andrew and Tracey for your efforts.

Stayed Whitsun week in this wonderful site.
Fantastic views, big pitch with edging and water point right next to it ideal.
Lovely facilities, spotless and never had to queue even though only 1 toilet and shower.
Friendly and helpful owners. Best site stayed on in 9 years for peace and quiet, scenery and location. 4 miles from keswick lots of places to walk and visit and 2 great pubs nearby. Able to walk 10 mins to one pub and 5 mins to Golf club only never got around to visiting there.
All in all 10/10 this is a little gem of a site.

In a beautiful location, just off the A66 but you cannot hear the road at all! Has a shower and toilet which were kept spotlessly clean while we were there in our two night stay. I was going to have a shower but decided against it as it felt a little chilly. Each pitch is flat and huge and the grass areas well kept. The views from each pitch over fields to the fells beyond were outstanding. It didn't seem to matter which window you looked from! There is a road down to the golf club but there was not many cars and that didn't bother us at all. Directly opposite the entrance road is a track leading to the old road to Threlkeld. We visited both pubs, The Sally and the Horse and Farrier where we ate. Very handy just to amble back to the site. The pub we ate in gets very busy so it's advisable to book. Both pubs are dog friendly. Some lovely views if you walk up the back of Threlkeld village to a track leading from the back of the car park - stunning! Will return. The only thing we couldn't get was Internet and phone signal was poor on both EE and O2, apart from that perfect.

We stayed at Threlkeld for four nights in mid-February during half-term in our MH. The site itself was in a fabulous spot and in stunning surroundings. It really was very beautiful. Its location within the Lakes is also ideal - a few miles from Keswick and in the shadow of Blencathra.
The facilities were very nice and although having just one toilet and shower for each could be a strain we never had an issue. They were immaculate and modern.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and left us to get on with it. It is located as part of a working farm and so farm noise was regular, although not in the least bit intrusive.
We loved the site although we felt £28 a night for two adults and a child in Feb (even half-term) seemed a little steep.
That said, we would return.
The Lakes are the Lakes and need no effusive comments other than they are incredibly beautiful come rain, shine or even snow!

We stayed at this site during Storm Desmond and, despite the bad weather, the site held up well - it stayed dry and facilities held out well.
Great little site with huge pitches and good facilities.
Convenient for visiting Keswick. 2 excellent pubs in Threlkeld.

We have just returned home from this gem of a site after spending 6 nights in heavy rain and strong winds. This didn't detract from the fact that this is a really lovely little site which is not visible and has no traffic noise from the main A66 road.
It is a very sheltered site which was a bonus because of the bad weather. The views of the mountains are beautiful.
The owners of this farm site, Tracy and Andrew were very welcoming on arrival and were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay.
The 10 pitches were level, spacious and fully serviced and divided with young shrubs. The new toilet facilities are spotlessly clean with one toilet and shower for gents and the same for ladies.
We couldn't find any fault whatsoever with this lovely little site, apart from the weather, and we will definitely be returning in the new year.
