A perfect campsite with a prefect balance between keeping it rural whilst providing excellent basic facilities, as eco friendly as possible.
The location of the farm is stunning, positioned at the foot of the north side of fan y big, an amazing ascent and descent with nobody around, we hiked up there on the August bank holiday weekend and saw only 3 people on the way up and just a couple of people on the way down (completely different to the hoardes at the sumits).
The showers and kitchen area, with a fridge, kettle and mobile phone charging points are just right, clean and well stocked, and the toilets are always clean with plenty of loo roll.
The farmer, Thomas is genuinely welcoming, always cheerful and is more than happy to give advice on walks etc.
To top this review off, it is my second visit here, I have camped on many farms over the years, usually being made to feel as if you are in the way, Pentwyn truly is the complete opposite. You 100% feel wanted there and the welcome and facilities reflect that.

Spent a couple nights here as a family with four young children. The site was not over crowded and had good facilities.
The owner was friendly and kept the site to a high standard. Good walking access to the Brecon Beacons. We would have stayed longer if heavy rain had not been forecast.
I would recommend this site to anyone who is looking for nice quiet site with good basic facilities.

This was our fourth time staying at Pentwyn farm, the quiet, tranquil site is surrounded by beautiful scenery.
A truly relaxing stay and somewhere we will be visiting for years to come.

This place is a hidden gem! Thomas the owner is very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The free showers are excellent. Roomy, very powerful and hot, the toilets are roomy with plenty of loo roll supplied and the kitchen area has all you'll need, washing up facilities, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster. Everything is very clean and well organised.
The camping field has breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and mountains and the grass is very well maintained. A short walk down hill takes you to a further camping field and a magical little stream.
All in all for £10 a night you cannot go wrong! All this and within walking distance of the beacons, its 10/10 from me. Thank you Thomas for your hospitality I can't wait to return 😁

I addition to the tent-site by the main house/buildings there is a CL site which is situated at the start of the farm lane, which is perfect for caravans and motorhomes, It enjoys magnificent 180 Degree views of the surrounding Brecon Beacons
There are no electric hook ups and the facilities are basic, water, waste disposal and rubbish disposal.
Each caravan/Moho is £10 per night. Only drawback is the linking B/C roads are very tight, especially with a caravan on tow, however, very little traffic use these roads and there are passing points.

A truly lovely site with everything you need (and more, the kettle was very handy!).
Set looking over mountains and hillsides in a secluded area made for the perfect peaceful stay with mountains galore at the drop of a hat. Within 15mins drive of Brecon town.
Clean and toilet roll always stocked!
Thank you so much for a last minute but wonderful stay! :) X
