Yet again a lovely clean and friendly campsite. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Lots to do with some lovely places to eat. Cracking walks which even I could do with my dodgy hips.
Can't wait for next visit.

Lovely site. This is our 2nd visit in a few weeks. We are new to touring and wanted a local site to practice reversing setting up etc.
The paddock did not disappoint. Staff gave us an easy Gravel pitch flat and with plenty of space.
Showers spotless and always plenty of hot water.
Village is lovely. There is a lovely bakery in the village and a local butcher in the garage nearby well worth a visit.
There is nothing on site for children but there is a lovely play park in the village and another at Stanhope. As said earlier we live about 10 miles away.
We will be back as it is ideal for a lovely relaxing break and walks along the river and for visiting Stanhope and other villages nearby. Thank you.

Lovely small campsite on the outskirts of wolsingham.
5 mins walk into village that has everything you need, few pubs, chip shop, Chinese takeaway, Italian restaurant, local store, pharmacy etc.
Plenty of local walks and biking available straight from the site.
Campsite is well kept and lovely clean facilities.

Lovely quiet site in Wolsingham near to the town centre (although not visited). It's a 5 minutes walk to town with 3 public houses, a cafe, an Italian restaurant, bakery, butchers, gift shop and a new Spar with fuel station, convenience store and pharmacy on the edge of town.
The security barriered site backs on to the River Wear with 22 pitches of which 1 is grass. I don't think it would suit children as there's no play area but the site has picnic tables scattered about to relax on. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Toilet/shower block spotlessly clean.
The site is attached to Robsons Caravan/Motorhome sales with an accessory shop attached for any spares or bits and bobs you may need.
I can't say much more about the area as we only stayed one night before and one night after the Northern Kin Festival but would certainly return.
