Just got back from a week on this lovely site. Since we were there 18 months ago the amenities block has been totally refurbished. They were very good before but are now excellent. The toilets are cleaned 3 times a day, not just once like normal CC sites. The site is in an excellent location and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very quiet, even at weekends when children arrive. Even has its own security patrolling the site once the office closes. Will certainly be back again. An ideal site for everyone as you don't need to use your car. Shops nearby and a nice walk along the beach path

Stayed here for a 3 night break, we were in the top field overlooking the sea, booking in was nice & friendly with everything explained, the pitch was in good condition, you are separated into smaller areas so the site does not feel overbearing, the facilities were excellent, we used the toddler bathroom for our granddaughter which was good plus, the site is quite large with a lot of static caravans but it never seemed crowded, there is a good sized indoor swimming pool, we hoped to use it but we just did not have time, we found the easiest way into Skegnees was to catch the bus just a short walk from the site, we found a nice place for a drink & to eat it is called the view and is just outside the site. The only one down side we had were that the pitches were a little tight for space if everybody put up an awning you would struggle, but all in all a lovely clean site in a good location.

We have been visiting this site for several years as its in the perfect location, open the gate and straight onto the beach (which you can also take your dog on), you can walk into Skegness or into Ingoldmells so you don't have to use your car, the kids love it as there is plenty for them to do. This site has always been a good clean site, but this year it has all new showers and even a baby and toddler room with a proper little bath which is great as my youngest does not like showers. So I can only say good things about this site.

Visited the week before Easter for the third year running, faultless again and the recently refurbished showers are great, power showers extra hooks on the doors new floor coverings and decorating. Great site close to the beach and the view restaurant on the corner is a great addition to the area. Only one niggle, some of the static owners look down their noses at the humble tourers at times! But I suppose it is their site.

We were in Skeggie with the campervan and decided to stay over on a whim. Given the time of day we came across this site, not being aware that it was Caravan Club/affiliated site we ended up joining the club when presented with the pitch fee as non-members.

I would agree with a lot of what other reviews have said about the site.

Location wise this is an excellent site if you want to be near the beach with sufficient facilities and within easy access to the town centre.

Skegness town centre can be easily accessed via bus which can be caught at the bottom of the road to the site, about a 5 minute walk way. There are several buses that go along the route so we didn’t have to wait long.

There is a restaurant/bar called The View next door to the site that does good food at reasonable prices. There is also an amusement park opposite the site although this was closed when we visited, not sure if this was due to the time of year or it’s just no longer open.

The site itself has direct access onto the beach via a small gate. The entrance to the site doesn’t look that inviting and the grass pitches near the entrance felt exposed to the road.

The toilet and shower facilities are of a high standard and kept immaculately clean and accessible via key given on arrival, although an extra key would have come in handy.

We were given a hard standing pitch near to the toilets, although level and tidy, it did feel like we were pitching up in a car park. There was sufficient space between units although it felt like there was very little privacy.

This was our first stay on a Caravan Club site and although the facilities were to a high standard we were greeted with a long list of rules that were very much enforced both by the wardens and some fellow members, not sure if rocking up in a 25 year old campervan placed among new/ immaculate caravan and motorhomes gave cause for concern to some members that we might not meet the standards.

Would we stay here again… well, we have pondered over this and concluded that we probably would although it wouldn’t be our first choice.

Just spent 4 nights here spring bank holiday week, third time at this site and again no complaints. The showers and WCs are clean and well looked after as you would expect and the check in staff very friendly, large hard standing pitches are great but be warned you will need rock pegs for the awning. Only 100 yards to the beach where dogs are allowed on all year. Far enough away from the delights of Skegness ! But only 30 min walk along the beach if your brave enough to venture down there. The old life guard building has been converted in to a new bar / restaurant which is not the usual seaside pub well worth a visit. We will be back next year.

We use this site every year normally out of season. The site is well laid out, the toilet blocks and facilities are clean and well maintained. Local shops are on the doorstep including a fish and chip shop. The proximity to an all year round dog friendly beach is a massive bonus to us, access to the promenade is via locked gates. There are 5 dog friendly pubs within 10 minutes walk. Public transport to Skegness and Butlins is a few yards from the site entrance. This is a great site which we will continue to use each year.

We have visited this site thre or four times in winter and summer months. Pitches are spacious and level. Toilet and shower block is kept very clean by site staff who are very helpful.

The site is in an excellent position being right beside the beach and near to a few pubs which have entertainment.

Bus stop is right outside for short ride into Skegness town or to Fantasy Island which is a very big funfair with shops and big indoor market.

It is also only a few minutes from Butlins where you can get a day visitors pass.

All in all this is a very good site.

Our biggest gripe about this site was the way the touring pitches were packed so tight together. Certainly no privacy - luckily people were quite good about noise, although we did hear people coming back from the pub. The facilities were up to the usual Caravan Club spec, but we weren't sure that there were enough showers/toilets. We hadn't realised that there'd be so many static caravans on the site. We weren't impressed with the local pubs - we tried 3 - OK if you like karaoke or card bingo! We enjoyed the walk along the beach into Skegness. We also couldn't understand why the Caravan Club had bumped up its prices by about £10 a night over the Christmas period.

We had 4 nights on this site in November.

The Hard Standing pitches are used for the winter and all the grass pitches were being re-turfed when we were there.

The shower block is very warm and the showers good.

There are 4 super pitches with Water and waste hookups

T. V reception was good even on the status areial.

The beach is within 100 yards and you can walk for miles in both directions.

The local pubs and Cafes were all open and a good Spar shop at the end of the road as well as Fish and chips

We will go back again in the near future
