Basic site but with beautiful views and very clean facilities. From arrival to departure we had smiles on our faces. Booking in, the owner was lovely, very helpful and friendly.
The field itself was spacious, well kept and although the weather was horrendous the ground stayed firm around our pitch.
The toilet was immaculate, along with a pot wash sink which was also immaculately clean and there were ample bins available.
There is absolutely zero mobile signal within the valley which is lovely for a technology detox - so plan walks/trips beforehand as there's no opportunity to use GPS whilst you’re there.
The surrounding walks were breathtaking and accessible from the entrance to the farm, we took 3 dogs who enjoyed every single second of being there, very dog friendly site.
Although there were loose, friendly chickens roaming the field but that is the only thing being very picky, worth taking into consideration dog-wise.
We would definitely visit again. The price to stay was so cheap, it was hard to believe.

Delightful campsite. We will return. Many good walks from the site.
No showers or EHU but that’s fine as there were toilets.
Cafe adjacent by the entrance and walks by the river.

I thought for 6 pound a night, it was exellent, I pitched right next to the river manifold which was brilliant, No showers, ( which didn’t really bother me )
Exellent toilets and washing facilities
Right next to the lovely Wetton mill
The only negative I Can think of, is that the grass you pitch your tent on is very long
Or is it because they put the sheep in the field to chew on the grass
Other than that, I hope to go back in a couple of weeks

Was lovely and quiet and nice to get away without any signal and right on the path to Thor’s Cave.
The site is simple but was perfect for us and our dog :)

Very beautiful site. Toilet facilities clean.
Only complaint toilet door lock broken so made it a bit uncomfortable when using.
A rowdy family spoiled one day but was dealt with by owners.
Owner not too friendly when went to pay

Peaceful back to basics camping field.
Lots of space, very clean toilets but hot water would have been appreciated. Safe for children and dogs.
Would stay here again.

Lovely quiet simple site close to the mill. Loos only no shower!
River at bottom was great for paddling and there was a rope swing. LOvely atmosphere at night as people sat around their fire pits.
Owners welcoming. At weekends the mill cafe serves breakfast baps
