Lovely location, suited me as I was staying for one night while on a bikepacking trip.
The owners were very friendly, chatty and accommodating.
Very little facilities but then you don’t pay much.
Would use again

I like this site, exactly as expected, basic but clean and excellent location and friendly staff.
Good value for money.
Close to Thors cave and Manifold trail.

We've Just returned from two nights camping at Manifold valley campsite, and I couldn't recommend it more. It was perfect.
The campsite itself is huge and flat with plenty of space to be able to pitch up away from others. We pitched next to the river and the kids absolutely loved paddling and splashing in the water.
The setting is idyllic, its so pretty.
The toilet was basic but very clean and well stocked with toilet roll, soap, hand sanitiser and paper towels. All you need for a few nights.
We had no signal all weekend it was bliss, just what the doctor ordered. We will definitely return. Loved it.

Lovely views perfect spot by the river only short walk to thors cave. Perfect to ride your bike on the manifold valley trail what's right next to the site.
There's a couple of pubs in a 2 mile walk.
Definitely be going back

We found this site after searching a last minute night away in the Peak District. We arrived and checked in by a very pleasant friendly lady, who directed us to the camping fields.
Whilst this is a very basic site, with just a porta-cabin toilet block, and outdoor sink for dishwashing, it was kept immaculately clean, and we regularly saw the lady re-cleaning them.
There is plenty of room on the camping fields without being cramped in by other campers, or for camping in groups.
Whilst obviously the facilities are limited, the location is fantastic being in The Manifold Valley, and close to various footpaths, trails and pubs and the pitch prices are great!

I loved the location, half hour walk to thors cave, the owner was very lovely and relaxed, loads of room, right by the river which the dog loved,
Very clean toilets, no signal for phone but that did not bother us at all, nice to get away from it all.

Absolutely stunning campsite set in Manifold valley.
Beautiful sunrise and sunset spot and walkable distance to Wetton village and Thor's Cave. Excellent location for drives out to further locations such as Ilam or Dovedale.
Clean toilets and friendly host. Would highly recommend. Fair price.
