This was our second visit to this site this year, and can only say that it has been excellent on both occasions, we would highly recommend this site to anyone. The staff have been polite, friendly and approachable on both visits, the pitch has also been excellent, second visit on pitch 70, overlooking the fishing lake, superb! Toilet block always clean & warm. Newark town centre very nice too. We will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you Milestone

Super little site with friendly staff. Clean tidy and well planned as expected from Caravan Club Site. Pick your own pitch. Great walks for the dogs and a lovely village pub about 20 minute walk away. Close to A1, so some traffic noise, but didn't cause any problems. We stayed for one night and enjoyed the location, not a long stay site for us but would not hesitate to call again when travelling to Newark.

Spent two nights heading south and two nights heading home, wardens very helpful and friendly, site next to the lake pitch 60 was excellent and view very pleasant, their was road noise and mainline train noise, you got used to this after the first night, if you cant hear it you have a problem.
toilets very clean, warm, and well equipped, people picnicked around the lake side which was also spotless, I caught plenty fish of good size some of which were weird hybrids, the village shop is closed but milk and bread was supplied by office.
our first time away in the motorhome and there was no problem with parking, water etc.
the two nights on our return we parked in the disability bay in front of the female toilets all was as good as the first visit apart from the damper on the toilet door was still broken and stopped banging at approx mid night starting again with 5. 30 am pee run, (not funny) reported it and hope its fixed for next visit, so 9 out of ten for the site.

Second time here to this very nice, friendly, picturesque site. Had a nice hardstanding pitch in front of the lake, yes there is road noise which can be a nuisance but got used to it after a while.
As mentioned not a lot to do locally but the flat area looks good for cycling and there is an hourly bus service to Newark, last bus back just after 7pm.
Visited the local micro brewery next door for a real ale carry out. Clean, modern toilets and paid about £19/night for two with ehu.

Well what a lovely surprise on our first outing towing a tourer, we found a site that was fantastically clean everywhere, the wardens absolutely wonderful and helpful, fishing superb on both ponds. The site was so relaxing and quiet, one or two pubs locally, but no local shop which is a bind although a londis shop inside the petrol station on the A1 3/4 of a mile away. The site could do with probably a small family type bar on site. But we must give this site a v. Good 8/10 well done to everyone connected to the site. We shall return

Lovely site. Nice sized, private pitches. Very neat and tidy. Good dog walk on-site. The facilities are excellent and immaculately clean.
Peaceful and relaxing and a good nights, undisturbed sleep is guaranteed. Regardless of other comments, I didn't notice any road noise.
We only stayed one night on our way to the east coast of Lincolnshire so not too concerned that there is not a pub within walking distance.
Would definitely stay again but only short term owing to the slightly remote location.
Excellent.

We stayed here for 2 nights. This was our first experience in our own Motorhome, we have hired prior to this.
A good site, easy to find and access from main roads. A warm welcome and easy pitches, we needed to level slightly with chocks but other wise a good pitch with electricity only.
Toilets clean and warm and no complaints.
No facilities on site and no local pub to walk to but we drove into Newark 10-15mins and parked easily at the long stay car park close to town. Just be considerate and choose your spot carefully. We ate at the Prince Rupert which was quirky with good food.
Slight draw back to the site is traffic noise from A1, didn't bother us but be aware you can here it.

This is or second visit to this site and once again we were not dissapointed. The site is very clean and well kept the staff or helpful and friendly lovely walks around the site and the small fishing lakes.
Toilets and showers are immaculate.
A short drive into Newark or Lincoln Cromwell it self is a small village with one or two pubs and a micro brewery which we intend to visit next time.
Bare in mind this site is very close to the A1 so some of the pitches may get increased traffic noise but we didn't really notice it. This is probably because there is high banking surrounding the site which reduces the noise and adds to the privacy.
We will certainly revisit.

Fantastic site ! easy to find and very friendly staff, showers / toilets immaculate.
Nice walks for dogs. Village shop 5 Min walk away, a little noise from A1 in the evening but nothing bad enough to spoil our stay. Lovely landscaped site with both hard and grass pitches.
Good fishing in the sites own lake, at least it looked good to a non fisherman !
We only stayed one night on a stop over travelling south east, small site without night-life or children's entertainment but perfect as a stop over.
Will definitely use again.

Stayed here on an overnight stop on the way from Scotland down to Norfolk. Ideally placed next to A1, though as others have mentioned, there is virtually no road noise on site.
Very well kept pretty site with fishing available as well (We had equipment but couldn't fish as we didn't realize you need a government rod license to fish in England & Wales - got one at a post office later in the holiday for our boy - at a cost of £5 a year. (costs a lot more for an adult however. )
Facilities excellent, and there's a BP garage at the top end of the village where you can refuel, ready for the onward journey the next day.
