Very friendly couple that run this site that go the extra mile for you, and there two lovely, friendly dogs.
Great location ideal for the ferry port. Clean site and toilets.
The only thing I found fault with is they could do with more hanging pegs in the showers to hang your clothes and towels up.
Would definitely recommend this site.

There were good showers and the site has a lovely view. The owner was very helpful.
The site was good value with power and everything we needed.
Close to a shop and a restaurant.

Parking of vehicles too close together therefore no social distancing and lack of privacy.
Owner welcoming and a scenic location.
Some of the facilities could do with being updated.

Basic but everything we required for our night on Skye.
Could have done with some hooks in the shower cubicles to hang things on as the floor was very wet and slow draining.

Arrived without a booking, after we were told to just turn up and was a little worried we wouldn't have a place to say but the owner was extremely accommodating and we spent 2 nights there for £30 me and my daughter!
The owner was very friendly and asked about our day when we arrived back on an evening. He always had a smile on his face and his lovely dogs and cat were friendly and liked a fuss.
The campsite has everything you need a well cleaned toilet and shower block, with extra measures in place for corona virus. Plenty of fresh drinking taps for reflling water, a washing station. The campsite on a whole was welcoming, well kept and easy to find! A mixture of customers, friends, young families, couples and older families. Its right by the ferry port which is good if you were thinking about travelling to or from the Isle of Skye that way.
I noticed that the owner also was helping people in campers and motorhomes to refill with water.
10/10 customer service.
I would definitely return to Uig campsite and if your looking for a decent campsite while travelling this is a must!

Great site. Toilet block cleaned regularly.
Site owners live at entrance and are very friendly and helpful.
Good pizza place beside ferry terminal.
Restaurant at pier not open at present, maybe due to coronavirus.
Well placed for walking and beaches.

Lovely camp site, very friendly owners and it’s in a great location!
We had a grass pitch tent with no power and had no issues at all.
We did have some noisy campers near us but someone spoke to them and they was quite for the rest of the evening.
Only thing that I would say is the bathroom block is due an update inside.

Great little quiet and affordable spot to set up base if you're going to spend your days exploring other areas of skye. (£7. 50 per person for a tent without electric hookup)
Owner was very helpful when I emailed several questions about the site, not accepting bookings in advanced though were advised to call or text on the day we travelled to confirm space.
From Uig bay you can reach most walks/tourist spots within an hour and a half.
The ground is wet and a little squelchy. Though it did rain at least some point everyday when we were there.
Plenty of midges around too so take the fly repellant and you'll be fine.
The toilet and shower area are basic but the water is hot and they were cleaned regularly so what more could you ask for? Electric pitches are available.
There is a few points of interest near by, Rha waterfall if you fancy a cold swim and Uig tower looking over the bay. (Directly opposite is Uig hotel which is lovely for a bite to eat, though you will have to book)
If you skirt along the side of the bay you'll come to a nice little rocky nook to watch the waves crash against the cliff side.
A few shops close by if you need to buy any food.
Nothing really for kids to do in regards of parks, though you wouldn't take your kid camping if you didn't have a means to keep them busy.
