Stayed mid August, highly recommend this site, our kids are grown up so they stay at home.
Very peaceful, very clean, showers etc spotless.
The weather let us down as usual.
The site is very well maintained and the staff were all pretty friendly. The views are fantastic.
Wifi is rather iffy and tv reception is haphazard,
Wish I Had known about the premier pitches

Wow what a find this is a gem of a site if you are lucky enough to stay here, like we do, you will not be disappointed, we pay for the seasonal storage and they move are van onto a space of our choice when we want to visit and then we just pay for the nights we stay and then they move it back into storage. We find this cheaper as you don't feel the need to go every weekend like when you pay seasonal.
The owners are very friendly and will get you a newspaper in the morning if you ask. There is lots of space between each van (not like some sites where you awning is touching the next van)the super pitch has own picnic bench.
The site is very clean and very very quiet and only 9 miles from llandudno. Toilet block even when the site is full is clean and never busy, kids play area is ideal for small kids.
The shops like takeaways and tesco only 5min drive into abergle. From the A55 it is a around a 5-10min drive to the site. We have been now 3 times this month and cant wait to go back next weekend.

Set in elevated rural place just 3 miles south of Abergele.
Very quiet place.
Fantastic views across the valley. Absolutely gorges sunset in the evening.
Trailer tents, caravans and motorhomes.
Campsite split into two sections east and west.
All pitches hard standing with electric hook up, east side were superior pitches with drainage and TV points.
Grass area kept short. Site was kept immaculate.
Excellent toilet block male and female segregation, with a separate bath room between the male female showers and toilets. Plenty of hot water, free showers for a bath a 40p charge coin box.
Adequate lighting around the campsite at nigh.
Staff very helpful.
Would recommend and use again.

A lovely site, easy to get to and peaceful. We had a fully serviced pitch that was next to the large dog walking field although I understand this is restricted in summer due to it being used for hay.
We used the free WiFi for researching places to go - often WiFi is over priced on sites in my view.
The toilets/facilities were well maintained and clean and we liked the general layout. Surrounded by countryside with the best views from the standard pitches on the highest point of the site. Would use again.
There is a petrol station/shop about half a mile away and Abergele centre about three miles away.

We stayed at this site just before the Easter weekend for 4 nights and what an excellent site it is, couldn't fault it at all.
Site itself was small and beautiful with spacious pitches, very clean facilities and a lovely little play area for the children. We have three under 5, the youngest being 10 months and there was even a little swing for him.
The owners were also lovely, very friendly.
The site is located about 5-10 mins away from Towyn which has plenty to do. Lovely Indian takeaway in Abergele called Spice Merchant, worth a visit if you like Indian food.
We will definitely be returning.

Quite a nice site, well maintained and clean. Negatives are poor TV reception, some pitches are steep and uneven and approach road is very narrow. A short drive to all North Wales attractions and beaches including Towyn and it's famous market, Rhyl and Prestatyn although a car is needed to reach the nearest public house as it is not really in walking distance. One of the few sites I have visited that boasts a bath as part of the facilities. There is also a laundry on site at a reasonable price. All in all a good site to visit I would recommend it.

Stayed a sunday night on our way in to Haven in North Wales. Was a fairly late booking but not a problem, very friendly and helpful on the phone. Postcode on the satnav didn't quite take us to the door but not too much trouble finding it. Booking in straight forward friendly and relaxed.
The site was very quiet and was told we could select our pitch of choice
Site has free wi fi included, but forgot to ask for the code at reception (own silly fault and was too lazy to walk back and ask)
Toilet facilities were basic but clean, didn't use the showers
A separate wash up room with fridge, iron, ironing board, washing machine, plenty of hot water and plenty of sinks if the site was busy.
Small play area which our 4 year old enjoyed despite the weather.
The only downer on the night was the weather, it never stopped raining but cant blame the site for that.
Lovely friendly quiet site and would be back in flash.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this wonderful site. It is peaceful-secluded and the owners are very friendly.
The shower and toilet block is modern clean and immaculate only downside being only one shower unit. All facilities are easily found and the entertainment is provided by Percy the Peacock.
We found all other campers on the site were very friendly and helped to make this a very relaxed stay.
All major areas are easily accessible by road and there are plenty of nice walks in the area and will certainly return again in the near future

Stayed over the bank holiday weekend. Site got fully booked but still had a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Directions were spot from Abergele. Booking in straight forward and ordered daily paper on arrival.
Never once felt like you were being monitored by site owners like on some sites, more a feeling of being trusted and treated like an adult, which is
Something hard to find these days. We had a super pitch. Didn't have a male to male hose connector (or our neighbour) but owners loaned us both one for duration.
We had the ariel hook up but from others normal tv reception not great. Same for mobile, I use virgin my son T mobile, both not strong signal. Site has free wi fi included, which I thought great.
Facilities were good, have used better on larger sites, but the whole set up and feel on the site more than make up for it. Ideally suited for our needs for coastal walks, snowdonia etc. Oh and for dog owners like us there's a large field on site to use.
The site has about 20 or so pitches and because of this you are close to facilities whereever you are. All the pitches are well kept and lots of space, picnic table on each super pitch was a real bonus.
Every good point you read on other reviews are true so cant say much more other than I'm phoning the site tomorrow to book for May / June. It must be good, we have a 15 year old son who is only normally happy if a theme park is part of the bargain, he wants to go back too.

Brilliant site, the toilets were sparkling, although there was only 1 shower for female/male this was not a problem at all. Everything was thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It was a great site and out of the way especially if you want to avoid the hussle and bussle of other sites. We have been camping for 8 years now and this is the best by far.
We arrived early and this wasn't a problem at all. The owners were really helpful. We didn't have far to go to rhyl and towyn, and it was in easy reach of places of interest. It really is a gem and set in a beautiful landscape. So peaceful.
We have a 3 year old and although the park was small she loved it, and the duck pond was an added bonus. There were a few signs to say that no children under 6 were allowed by the pond, which we were impressed with because to be honest other sites would not care.So much thought has gone into this site we cannot wait to visit again.
This is a fantastic site and we loved our time there. Forgot to mention, they even had an ice cream van that visited which was lovely. A truly wonderful site.
