Stayed here for 5 nights with a large tent on EHU. The views were lovely from our pitch. The pitch we were given was in an excellent spot right by the toilets, water point, dog run and showers.

It has a great dog run which was brilliant for a quick walk first thing in the morning and last thing at night. It's also only a 5 minute walk from the dog friendly beach.

The toilets were very basic and not the cleanest I have used. There was plenty of loo roll but there was only one hand basin in the toilets and the water was not working properly so We had to use the hand gel which was provided.

This site is in a good position for anyone travelling on public transport as It's not far from a bus stop and a train station.

Used this site for many many years with both tents, caravans and trailer tents.

It's very basic and open to the eliments and the facilities are also basic but very clean and Alwyn is a very helpful, pleasant man.

The site is in a fantastic location, close to beautiful beaches and handy shops, you often see a lot of regular faces.

It is an ideal base camp and there are now a few pitches with hook up, and yes it can get very windy but that's Rhosneighr, once you've been a few times you get used to it and prepare

This is a great campsite in a fantastic location- only 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of Rhosneigr.

The facilities are quite basic (but we had been spoilt the week before staying on a campsite in Abersoch) but clean enough, my only complaints being no handtowels and the soap running out.

The showers were lovely and warm, 40p gets you a lovely long shower and we only had to queue once in the week we stayed.

The owners were very friendly and laid back and allowed our children to spend hours in their garden with their six week old puppies. It made the kids week!

Overall a great, spacious campsite which is fantastic value for money- how camping should be!

Would definitely recommend and I'm sure we'll be back.

Arrived early on Friday afternoon and pitch marked with our name. Top part of site has numbered hook up pitches and fields below more informal - pitch where you like. Met quite a few people who were unsure about whether to go to the farmhouse or just choose a spot - some signs might me helpful?

Lovely views inland over island and towards Snowdonia. Some pitches more sheltered than others but could get very breezy being on the western side of the island. Toilets and showers basic but kept clean by owners but it took some time to find the showers as they are in a separate block to the toilets and are away from the main campsite. Adjacent to the showers is a kitchen area with freezer and washing up sinks.

Short stroll into Rosneigr and lovely walk down to the lake. The village has a good variety of shops and eateries and on a windy day the beach is fascinating but busy with the windsurfers and kite surfers.

Owners seemed very relaxed and didn't collect fees until sunday morning. However, owners could be a bit stricter with keeping the campsite quieter at bedtime. We had the delightful experience of a Take That sing along on the adjacent pitch until well past 11.30 - not ideal with two young children who were woken up.

All in all an excellent and well located campsite which is good value. Just watch out for who pitches next to you.

The owners were friendly, no hassle. We even had to knock at the door to pay them. No demanding money with menaces before you even get the kettle on. They let us leave the van on site while we went to watch the races. Well worth a visit.

Toilets were also always clean (high on my list of priorities!) Paper towels to dry hands would be good though. The beaches were beautiful almost like being abroad. Could certainly become regulars at this site.

We found it to be spacious, well cared for, clean and tidy. We found ourself a little quiet pitch. The local town and beach were fantastic. Don't miss the walk around the lake.

The only downside was there was a huge gang of kids who ran around shouting until about midnight, but I suppose that is part of camping life?!

The owners were very friendly and clearly put in a lot of effort into keeping the facilities ship shape and this really showed.

Would definitely return.

I stayed here for one night and found the site to be very good. The site is quite large with good facilities. The owners were friendly and helpful with advice about where to set up the tent and weather.

Strangely they didn't take any payment when I set up the tent so I had to find one of them in the morning to make sure I paid before leaving!

Other people have remarked on the local facilities and it seems largely the same today.

Visited this site on my own for three nights, on my motorbike. I was looking for a site that had a nearby village with facilities for eating and hopefully meeting friendly locals. It just about fulfilled this role with two pubs (one very hard to find - ask at the local store) and at least two other restaurants and a fish and chip shop. Not the cheapest place to eat (the hard-to-find pub being the cheepest) but certainly ok.

The village itself seemed strangely devoid of character, probably because most dwellings are holiday homes (so I was told). Fantastic beach though (if you are in to that sort of thing!) And all within easy walking distance.

The site is in a very pleasant setting, is quite large with plenty of choice as to where you can pitch. It's nice that the toilets are separated from the showers. Both are basic, but clean - though if you want to pee in the night you'll need a torch (I found my headlight ideal for this!) The field is well drained with no mud problems even though it had been a very wet period.

The only real criticism I would have of the site, is that it took me ages to realise that you had to put 20p in a meter for how water in the shower. Some kind of sign would have been useful! At least you could put 40p in and get double the time (which I needed, but I never was quick in the shower!)

SSHHHH! I urge you not to visit this campsite and do not talk to anyone else about it ! We need to keep it a secret :)

It is the most fantastic site we have been to. We have been this year for the fifth time in three years - it is fantastic value for money. The owners are wonderfully friendly and laid back (ie do not leave lists of rules everywhere !) The toilets and showers are wonderfully clean and also the utility room is extremely well kept.

Fantastic site ! - also my children were thrilled to see the pony back in the field adjacent to farmhouse - will be back again !

This was our second year staying on this site which I must honestly say I personally think is fantastic I went away with my partner and my little boy and my parents also chose to join us and we all had a great holiday Bodfan farm campsite is what camping is all about it takes you back to nature and you can't beat it.

The site has a separate toilet block to the showers, the toilets are so clean and well looked after the shower block consists of 3 fantastic showers 20p is required for the showers but the showers are well looked after and so clean and tidy there is also sinks situated in there which are also so very clean.

There is a dryer on site and a freezer provided to freeze your ice packs.

The owners are really helpful and help your stay be the best holiday you can have.

So if you want a holiday that is relaxed and peaceful apart from the RAF Planes which do wake you up in the morning lol I would recommend Bodfan farm especially if like our family you enjoy the beach and RAF valley jets.
