Visited the site for a week In May 09 after reading the reviews. Found the toilets and showers clean. Although when we were there it was part of the bank holiday weekend it was not overcrowded but was busy and this lead at times to inconsiderate campers - through alcohol, however this was for a short period.
Following this hiccup we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, the choice of walks and the scenery were lovely. The pubs and the food was good, one was a bit more expensive but was really nice.
We returned in August 09 for a 2 week period although the weather was not brilliant - the wind was terrible at times, we thought the tent was going to blow off and the rain really poured, although I do suggest at these times to walk down to the beach and look out to sea and take a moment, the picture is overwhelming - the people surfing etc. Is wonderful it is like something out of a film!
We had a brill time we travelled all round and completed many walks. We did have some days with glorious sunshine and went on several beaches - which I must say are some of best I've seen.
The site itself and the owners are very welcoming and very friendly, they make every effort for you.

Just back from a cracking week on this site. Definitely basic but loos & shower block always spotlessly clean. Very quiet. You pay on a daily basis, so you can decide if & when you want to move on. Could have spent the whole week just watching the jets from RAF Valley. 5 minute drive from Anglesey Circuit if you're into car / bike racing. Excellent area for walking. Good chip shop in town, but be aware it closes at 8.00pm!

Great family site, lots of space for kids to run around. Toilet block consists of 6 toilets for women, I think the same for men, flushing toilets (not a portaloo in sight!).Never seemed to run out of loo roll. 3 showers for each men and women which are 20p coin operated (I have long hair and 80p was enough to wash and condition twice!) Seperate room for washing pots, freezer for ice blocks, socket for hair dryer/straighteners,washing machine and dryer. Very laid back site, turn up and pitch where you like. Big enough for large family tents. The owner drives round each morning to collect money for the night you have just had, £6 for adults £1 for kids. Great value! Beach very close, about 5 min walk from the site. RAF Valley close by and planes fly over the campsite quite often, this amused the kids (and adults) in our group. They only seem to fly between 9am ish til 5pm ish, not through the night! We had to cut our trip short due to extreme british summer weather! Very windy and rain started to leak into our tent! Would definitely go back again!

Had the pleasure to stay here again this year, unfortunately only for 1 night, but that was better than nothing, this site is just lovely, fab views over Anglesey, easy ish access to the beach, and if you get the weather, you could be anywhere! The prices had gone up a bit since last season, we paid £17 per night for a caravan with hook-up and 2 adults, however, the owners have re-hauled the shower block with new showers (still 20p per go for around 5 mins of nice hot water), and better tiling, so I didn't really mind, also the site is worth it, hopefully the loo block will be this winters project! The owner still cruises around in the morning around 10/11 ish to collect the previous nights rent, so there is no up-front fees if you don't want to. Lots of space for the kids to run around and play. A 'what you see is what you get' site, that is extremely relaxing. You really must try it, and the owners are very helpful.

Very nice site and cheap.
Confirm other reviews, facilities basic but very clean and convenient.
Great views. Don't go here in mid week if you dislike RAF fast jets - the flight path is a few hundred yards away. If you like them you get great views of the Hawks as they come in to land.
Views of Snowdonia and fabulous beaches within 1/2 mile of the site.
No obvious rules against groups and we were kept awake by some ****heads until 3.30am

Stayed here 1st week in June, weather was good and the views fantastic and the RAF flyovers. Bit rough on entering site for a big motorbike but managed. Nobody about so just pick a pitch where you like. Rent is collected when he sees you while he drives around. Very basic site but good firm pitches, tent was nice and clean when I folded it up on last day. Short walk to pub (Y Morfa)The food is to die for but expensive. Well worth a visit to the site and pub.

We stayed at this campsite for the late May Bank Holiday. It was busy at the camp but not cramped at all. We stayed with a crowd of friends and the campsite exceeded beyond our expectations. We were lucky to have brill weather which always helps when camping. The views of the Snowdonia mountain range is spectacular from this site. The beautiful beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. The toilets are basic but clean. We had problems with the hot water at the utilities room but this wasn't too much hassle for us as we just boiled kettles to do the washing up. As with most sites on Anglesey the site is open to the elements and it was a bit windy at times. But our tent survived and windbreakers helped. We would definitely return to this site. The prices are very reasonable and we all felt we'd found a gem of a site!

This was our first experience of camping with our new tent after borrowing one last year.
Great site - very relaxed. We pitched in the top field and stayed for 3 nights. Kids had great fun playing with the other kids on the field and dunes. I think they would have been happy just to stay on the site 24/7. Great coastline and beach in Rhosneigr. Plently of places to eat nearby. Thinking of going again next year.

Decided to go to Anglesey for the night. We found Bodfan Farm on UKCampsite.co.uk, phoned up and booked the night no problems turned up pitched the tents went to look where to pay the owner said he would see us in the morning. Camp site is basic but very clean suppose it would help if they had a shop on site as nearest one is in the town. With us only living an hours drive from Rhosneiger we have visited the town many times and spent many hours on the beach but on this occasion we were very surprised with the large number of dogs being exercised on the beach and as we know dogs leave their calling cards. Went into Rhosneiger in the evening for a drink couldn't find a pub although there are a couple of restaurants there. Suppose the campsite and its surround areas are ideal for a base camp if you intend to tour North Wales the cost for a night is £5 per adult £1 per child can't go wrong at those prices.

This was our first camping trip as a family (2 adults old enough to know better and 3 boys, 7,4 and 19months!) Wanted a flexible site with plenty of room for energetic boys and good facilities, Bodfan certainly ticked all the boxes. Very easy going site, emailed for availability got a reply within 12 hours (still waiting on 2 other sites to reply!), basically just turn up and pitch your tent wherever you like/ there is room. You pay on a night by night basis with the owner doing the rounds each morning and collecting payment for the previous night. Good facilities with clean hot showers (20p) toilets and washing up facilities (20p). FREE daily airshow provided by the RAF (the boys loved it and after the first couple of take off's/ fly byes you don't notice the planes any more). Great views and 5 mins walk to the lovely sandy beach and local facilities in Rhosneigr(nearest supermarket is Holyhead 15 mins drive). Will be regular visitors to this site in the future.
