The Pub was very quaint and served good food. It was also dog friendly which is important for us. The food took a while to arrive but appeared to be freshly cooked so worth the wait. The pitches are a bit close together, the hard-standing was badly sloping on some of them too. The advert states well drained but the grassy areas felt boggy.
The grass had not been cut for a while which made the site look untidy, the owner said it was due to the weather. For a 12 pitch site it needs more than one toilet and shower for ladies and gents. The toilet block was heated nicely. They advertise super pitches which we asked for but all they had was a tap in addition to a EHU, no waste drainage or tv ariel so certainly not a super pitch. As others have mentioned the dogs howling in the nearby kennels are a nuisance, the noise started at 6am every morning. Not the owners fault but a warning would be useful. People would appreciate his honesty on this point when booking. Dish washing facilities need hot water. Overall I feel this site is over priced, a more realistic rate would be £15 per night

We will never be staying at this site again. It was nothing like it depicted on their website.
Very basic. Overpriced, and hounds howling in the morning from nearby.
One toilet block for male and female.
Very disappointing.

The site itself is small and the vans are very close together and in a couple of cases it is difficult, on some impossible, to erect an awning and have a car alongside. Although flat and having hard-standing pitches, the site would benefit from having the grass mowed on a more regular basis.
There are two entrances / exits, one with a gate open 24/7 and another with no gate at all, which could cause concern to those with security issues. A CCTV camera overlooks the site but there are a couple of problems with this piece of equipment as (a) its “line of site” is blocked by the branches of a tree and (b) it appears to have been disconnected with a pair of wire cutters for quite some time.
The site was advertised with “super pitches” but there are only EHUs and water taps; (our friends didn't even have a Water tap) and there is NO grey water drainage which caught out our friends as they hadn't bought their waste container. The WIFI connection is somewhat erratic and weather dependant and works only on rare occasions.
The toilet and shower block was flooded from a broken toilet, the mess was merely sweeped into the disabled shower, disgusting behaviour as we had disabled friends needing to use this.
Despite there being fields, which would be ideal for the purpose all around the site, there are no dog walks. The nearest one can exercise their pets is along a public footpath which can only be accessed by walking along a main road without any pedestrian footpaths.
The site is right next to a dog boarding kennels facility and there was constant barking throughout the day and howling during the night.

A small site primarily for caravans. The grass is reasonably level and well drained. We requested an electric hookup for our tent which meant we had to pitch next to the toilet block, not a major problem as this didn't disturb us but the septic tank was next to our tent and we noticed an occasional smell, but nothing so bad that it spoiled our stay. The toilet block consists of one toilet, sink and shower for males, the same for females and a disabled toilet with sink and shower. The pub toilets are also available at busy times. Dishwashing is one sink at the end of the toilet block but there is no hot water supply to this sink. The pub is very olde worlde with a tiny bar. The staff and locals are very friendly and the food is excellent - book in advance as it can get busy. There is a dog kennel nearby and we experienced a lot of barking and howling throughout the night. This area is excellent for walking with spectacular views. The town of Bridgnorth is a 30 minute walk away and the landlord will be happy to give you directions across country avoiding the majority of the main roads. Bridgnorth is well worth a visit with plenty of shops and pubs to keep you entertained. It is a very hilly town and the cliff railway is a handy way to get up to high town. The Severn Valley Railway runs through Bridgnorth if you fancy a trip on a steam train. If you like aircraft I recommend the Cosford Aerospace Museum, entry is free (parking fee applies) and there are 4 hangers crammed with aircraft of all kinds.

This could be a good site if more was taken with the site it looked like it hadn't been maintained for some time, they charged £22 night so not a cheap site
There is only one ladies and one gents toilet and shower plus one disabled. When we arrived there was no mention of dog kennels nearby these dogs seemed to bark all day and most of the night. I understand that the site owner cant control the dogs but he could have warned us.
No one checked the volume of noise after 10pm by groups of campers.
So with the dogs barking and noise by other campers we won't be going back to this site

A small but lovely site-there is a toilet and shower block with one shower and one toilet per sex and one disabled toilet shower room for the whole site but it was so warm and clean that I believe it was totally fine. There was a sink for washing up but not hot water so we took it home which wasn't a problem.
Hard standing available throughout the site so even in April it was not boggy. Walks available directly from the site through fields and farms with gates rather than stiles so excellent for our big dog.
Had a great meal in the pub-met lots of campers and locals which made a very enjoyable evening. Bar staff and owners super friendly so we will definitely be back.

Stayed here for one night passing from Bridgenorth to Ludlow. There was work being done on the site to make more hard standing but I think this will enhance the site. It is very expensive for out of season and for what it is which is a field at the back of a pub, £22. 50 with EHU. The shower/toilet block is very clean and warm but as there is only one of each this may be a problem if the site was busy. The pub toilets can also be used. The owners are very friendly and knowledgable about the area. We had a drink in the pub but didn't eat there so can't comment on the food.

Stayed here for two nights as we were meeting up with some friends near Bridgenorth.
When we arrived on the Friday night the owner came out to show us to our pitch but 'suddenly' noticed that it was impossible to reverse fully back on to the pitch as it had branches hanging over a third of it. We reversed as far as we could and he said he would get the tree lopped the next day.
We plugged in our electric to the hook up but that failed to work so we had to trail our lead over a gate and across the fence to the next hook up.
The following morning the maintenance guy came to lop the branches and tried to do it around the van instead of asking if we could move it.
Shower all mouldy. Rubbish bins overflowing. Also as others have said, there was noise from the dogs.
It was £22. 50 per night for EHU and water and think this was expensive for this site.

This is a neat, small site, well-maintained and with very clean (and heated) bathroom facilities, which was an unusual luxury. It is good to have food available at the pub. The location is excellent for access to the Ironbridge Gorge with its many fascinating museums.
I had pre-booked a tent pitch without electric hook-up and I don't think this is really what they are looking for here. When I arrived the site was busy and they really didn't seem too sure where to put me. The place I was allocated was immediately next to the toilet/shower block and had two annoyances a) there was on-and-off noise all night from the boiler, and b) I was very close to the smelly septic tank.
I was able to move my tent to a much better pitch after the first night, when the site emptied, so it didn't ruin our stay. However, I do feel it is primarily a site for caravans.
I would also agree with those who complained about the hounds - I am a very sound sleeper, but they woke even me periodically each night.

Came as group for 4 nights (5 tents and 1 gazebo).
Had a fantastic time and Peter was very friendly and helpful.
Toilet block is always very clean and well maintained. Although there is only 1 lady's and 1 gents as well a disabled Toilet, you never seem to have to wait to long (if any) for the toilet or to have a shower.
Pub is very quaint and has real ale and fantastic food.
There is a nice little games room that you can hang out in if its raining.
Bridgnorth is a lovely town with a fabulous butchers called Beamans on the high street, if you are going to have a BBQ.
