My wife, grandson and I stayed here for one night at a cost of £16 which I thought was very reasonable. My wife slept in our VW campervan while I slept in a small tent with my grandson.
The pitches are all on level ground and was quite busy on the Saturday night we were there. As previously stated in other reviews, there is 24hr access to the toilets which are in the pub itself. There are two showers in a bungalow type building which I assume is some sort of holiday let. It has a living area complete with beds, sofa,TV etc, small kitchenette and a bedroom. In all honesty, the showers were not very good and if the owner were to convert this into a proper toilet and shower block, I think he would attract more campers as the site has a lot going for it.
The food and drink in the pub is very good and the people who run the premises are very welcoming. There is not a lot of room for games or for kids to run about but this site would appeal more to adults anyway. There were a few inconsiderate people there being very noisy until about 2.00am but being in a tent, you hear it more. They didn`t bother my wife who was in the van.
There are also some kennels nearby as I could hear the dogs howling and barking at various times throughout the night. This site tends to cater more for the caravan / motorhome type of traveler and as such, it is well worth a look but if you like peace and quiet and you`re in a tent, then you`d be better off looking elsewhere.

We have just returned from this campsite + it wasn't quite what we expected, there are 2 areas, 1 just for caravans + campervans and 1 for tents. The tent field has no marking for pitches + this weekend there were about 13 tents - some close together, the caravan field was the same.
The toilets were in the rear of the pub ( for the customers too) 1 shower in an unused holiday let which had mould on the ceiling. There are 2 bathrooms in the holiday bungalow in the tent field with showers, we had to ask for the key for this, despite others being told it was open from 8.30 am to 8.30 pm. 1 shower was cold. The pot wash facilities were in this bungalow.
The electric in the bungalow kept tripping our ehu out. The bungalow was shut on sunday as people had gone home, so we had to queue to use the 1 shower as the pub is shut so we were unable to get the key for the other showers.
We paid £18.50 a night for 2 adults + a child which we thought was expensive considering the lack of facilities - there is nothing for children unless they like sheep, which were in the next field, the hounds make quite a row when they start too.

A small flattish site at the back of a pub. Grass short and not muddy but the weather has been dry.
Bus service on the road outside to Brignorth which has a Sainsburys.
Good base for the Bewdley / Bridgnorth / Stourport / Much Wenlock area with the Severn Valley Railway.
The caravan field is adjacent to a tent field and uses the toilets in the pub and a shower in a chalet building. Camp field had another facility block but this seemed to be locked a lot of the time so campers came through to use pub facilities as well. Toilets were generally clean.
Toilet and shower are open 24 hours but were not really enough for the number of people using them especially as the caravan field had 11 units on it rather than the 10 it is supposed to have which also meant that units were very close to each other and to the hedge.
No play area and not a lot of space to play.
Two raised waste points and water taps.
Staff in the pub were really helpful and the food was excellent although not cheap.
The road outside the site is not nice for walking on as it has hedges both sides and no verge. Not many places to walk dogs.
Hunt kennels just down the road – noisy at times (early mornings and evenings mostly) and hounds exercised down the main road with one man on a bicycle and a lady on a horse failing to keep them under control.
Noisy at night on some nights – one weekday night there must have been a function at the pub because it was very loud until the early hours and the language was pretty ripe!
A good site if you just want the basics and don’t mind the noise but pricy (at £17.50 a night)for what you get.

Found the staff helpful but for a site that only has 10 pitches, there were 7 tourers, 2 motorhomes and 5 tents that I counted, and that was just in the touring park section alone.
Some of the occupants were rather noisy until the early hours of morning along with the barking of dogs from the local kennels, which isn't good when you have small children. The toilet/shower facilities were inadequate and hard to locate for the amount of people on site.

A small 10-berth caravan park, being adjacent to the quaint 16th Century Halfway House Inn.
Peter the Landlord and his wife who's home cooked food is delicious and served piping hot, the curry is really something to try
Are so polite and nothing too much to ask for if they could help then they would!
24 hour access to new clean toilets, drinking water, waste disposal, electric hook-up & use of the showers.
Pitches are on regularly mown grass.
The staff are very friendly
We visited places such as the following really interesting and plenty to keep anyone of any age occupied
Cosford Aerospace Museum a must for all fans
Bridgnorth Cliff Railway
Dudmaston Hall
Shrewsbury & Ludlow
Ironbridge Gorge Museums
Severn Valley Railway & Country Park
Will be back as soon as we can we had a great time and friends also came to visit and all had a meal at the inn what a fab place.

This was our second visit to this beautiful part of the country.Ideal location to visit many interesting attractions within picturesque countryside. We were made very welcome. Yet again by Peter and his staff and no doubt will visit again.
Facilities are clean and adequate Our group of 12adults booked ahead so as to all camp together and have no complaints what so ever. Even delivered the sunshine I ordered for best part of our stay.

What a lovely site. We stopped here in June as part of a charity walk and were relieved to finally reach a campsite with great facilities and lovely as a bonus it is attached to a pub!
On arrival we paid our fee and were told to pitch where ever we wanted to, which was nice not to be restricted. The toilets / showers were clean and the pub was lovely. Will be visiting again!

After previous reviews, I was unsure of whether or not to go. However upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised with how quaint and lovely the pub was. The bartender had our money off us and it was £24 for two nights which seemed reasonable for the peak time we went. He told us to pitch wherever we liked and when we found our spot, there was plenty of room on the site.
The only complaint I would make would be the toilets. There were two portaloos at the edge of the field and by the end of our journey, the pedal you have to use to flush it was stuck as there was so much weighing the lever down. So all you could see was other peoples excrement in front of you. It also took us two days to find the shower so we never used it.
I would recommend the homemade curry in the pub as it was the tastiest curry I have ever tasted.
I would also recommend the walk into Bridgnorth through the fields, ask the bartender which way to go and he will explain it very well.
Overall I would recommend this campsite to anyone as it is spacious and well situated but the facilities need to be updated.
Also I think the field we were on was an overflow because previous reviews mentioned there was hardly any space which I saw on another field close to the pub which seemed to have mainly caravans on it.

What can I say! Peter the landlord, what a smashing guy, and a brilliant chef. Cooks steak to perfection. Hospitality 10/10. The site is only small, but we loved it, we didn't need to use the shower with being in a motorhome, the toilets was very clean indeed, will be back for sure.Well done peter!

We visited in a VW camper for one night.
There were only another couple in a caravan so we had a choice of pitches.
You get EHU in with the price of £15 which I thought was OK.
We had to hunt about to find someone when we arrived. The front door of the pub is a bit stiff as it is original so we thought it was locked. Soon sorted out though.
The toilets are in the pub and stay open 24hrs, they're warm and clean.
The shower is in a former holiday let and is clean and included in the price. There's only one but it's a small site, so should be ok.
All in all a nice small site next to a nice pub, friendly landlord and staff.
The site is just off Sustrans cycle route 45, which we used for a cycle to the Severn Valley Railway. Suprisingly hilly!
We would definitely go again for a similar short visit of one or two nights.
