Our first visit to this site. Situated an easy 15 minute walk into the village, good for food shop, newspapers, cafe and pubs. Hourly bus service from village into Bridlington where you can catch buses to other places eG RSPB at Bempton Cliff. New shower and toilet block, lashings of hot water and roomy shower cubicles, just a personal moan, a small wall mounted shelf for toiletries inside the shower cubicle would be very useful. The Warden's are very friendly and hardworking. Well worth a visit especially for families.

Having stayed on this camp site for many years it's very refreshing to find new owners who are doing good things with it. My wife, myself and two of our sons with their families camped on the bank holiday weekend in May and found it to be much improved. The toilets and showers are now heated and the water hot at all times and the washing up facilities are kept spotless. The only fault we found with the showers was no run off for water that splashed into the drying off area. Camp site WiFi is a nice touch but I found for the first time ever I had 4G working on my cell phone which was slightly faster than the camp site WiFi so winner winner on that front. Less pitches for tents now as the hard standings take preference so a note to all canvas lovers. Book early to avoid disappointment. My last note on this revue is a big thank you to the new owners who are hands on and very friendly and approachable which has been lacking in the past. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Please note that as of August 2014, new owners have taken over this site and they are completely renovating the campsite. Therefore please bear this in mind when reading any reviews from visits prior to this date. Below is a brief update from the new owners:

We are are renovating the site throughout, and planning many changes for the better:

We have already introduced heating to the shower block and look to now totally refurbish inside and out.

We are upgrading all the roads and added 29 new hardstandings.

We are putting FREE Wi-Fi on the site

Upgrading all the electrics to 16amp

Completed our cottages

Our office hours are 9-12 daily but we are usually around. We ask people just to leave a message.

We are open 365 days a year, have 90 pitches 75 ehu and an area for 10 tents

We stayed at this site last weekend on the plus side its a nice quiet site in good surroundings handy for a lot of interesting places like danes dyke, flamborough, etc

On the minus the toilets left a lot to be desired I would say its a great site if you have a van/caravan with its own onboard facilities also the electric hook up point was quite a distance from our allocated plot our cable only just reached. I don't think we ever saw the owners/staff all the time we were there

Nice quiet site even with children playing. Lots of room around your unit and plenty of picnic tables. Shower and toilet facilities are to be desired and in need of updating. Due to this we did not use the on site facilities therefore we would have saved half the nightly tariff on a certified location. Would not return note only 6 AMP hook up.

Good little site. Its toilets and showers not very modern but clean. You can walk into the village with its dog friendly pubs or walk up to the cliffs and along to thornwick bay. We love this little site. The new owners have taken over so we will have to see if they make any changes. The barrier also stops intruders entering. A good base to explore the east coast

This was our second visit to the Grange. First time was in August 2012 with our caravan, and 4 dogs, with our relatives taking up another 3 pitches. We had a fantastic time then and again another fantastic time this October. Sadly we had lost one of our Dogs at christmas, but the other 3 had a great time yet again!

Booking is simple, payment over the phone and gate codes given, we even decided to stop another day, which was no problem, I phoned the office and paid for the extra night and all was just as simple.

We had a great time in a fantastic location, close to the shops and a lovely walk with the dogs to the different bays.

I highly recommend this site, the toilets and showers are basic, but are kept clean and well stocked with toilet paper. The pot wash area is fantastic, so much easier than our small bowl in the caravan.

We will be returning over and over again :o) a happy and friendly site.

Recently stopped at this site, sorry to say I was not impressed at all. Very impersonal just a voice on end of phone. On arrival there were no notices or signs for drinking water or anything. No hot water in toilets. No signs for waste water or anything. Pitches not marked out clearly. Just guess work were you hooked into. Very disappointed that hook up not powerful enough to run my halogen oven. Never found this to be a problem before. There are much cheaper sites with better facilities. Sorry,

The surrounding village and sites are a must but from a different site I would say.

On site I like to see a cleaner now and then even if they are only keeping an eye on things.

This site promised much but delivered little. The toilet blocks were not the cleanest we have visited and the hot water was conspicuous by it's absence. Certainly not as the reviews we had read before booking! More space between the pitches would also be a benefit - the lack of space was not a good selling point. The site is situated at least a mile from the centre of town, so good weather is required if this is to be a daily event. There are much better sites available around this area - we will not be going back to The Grange.

Fantastic camp site, easy to find our pitch, our family were all camped around us which was excellent and my 4 well behaved dogs had a fantastic time too.

We found the gate easy to use, and the site is really well organised. Only saw the owner when caravans were being placed from store into their pitches.

All the campers were friendly, and the facilities such as toilets and showers were fine.

The Coop in the town is tiny but had everything we needed, and the local butcher had lovely sausages and meats. We drank in the Royal Dog and Duck which was fine, and my aunt and uncle brother and sister in law went to another pub one night for food (local lobster) which was lovely, sorry I didn't get off them where they went!

Matt and myself and the dogs will be coming back, we had a great time
