WOW! We have just come home from a week at Rockbridge Caravan Park after spending a most enjoyable time there despite the weather. We arrived on Monday 6th to be greeted by a warm welcome by the Wardens, Steve and Lynn, who were as always, busy working around the site. Steve told us to pitch wherever we liked and we told him as soon as we were settled we would pay our balance off. He was so laid back and said for us to enjoy our time and to pay when we were ready and if need be when we were going home - most unusual LOL! Husband quickly pitched up, we had water and EHU and I took our little JR dog Diesel for a walk around the site. As most women, I inspected the facilities and I was instantly impressed. Clean, tidy and well equipped - there were all sorts of toiletries that you could imagine (for those of us who under pressure by husbands to not pack so much) unfortunately forget! My husband advised that the gentleman's shower block was exactly the same - so men do forget their toiletries too LOL! This is a quiet park but not far from the hustle and bustle if one desired this. We pitched right next to the river which added that tranquil setting and as we had water at the pitch this avoided the necessity to travel to the tap twice a day. The whole park is well maintained, tidy and friendly which all aids a good break. This is one of 6 in the 'family' group and even though we found Pearl Lake we feel that this has to be the best! Prices are extremely competitive and with all the other factors above definitely worth adding to our list of growing favourite sites. The only negative comment and really not a crucial one is that being in a valley there was a poor signal for the TV but given the fact the village Presteigne is only a mile away who needs TV anyway! We shall definitely being going back here when the better weather comes as it was unfortunately but not a hindrance, a typical wet Wales. Keep up the good work Steve and Lynn and we shall see you soon.

We discovered this lovely site in early May. Have been back twice already and have taken advantage of leaving our van on site and returning after a few days at home in Cheshire. It's such a peaceful site in glorious countryside and Steve the warden looks after the site in a relaxed manner which we like. Countless pretty villages nearby, Presteigne has everything you will need. We will definitely make Rockbridge Park a regular destination.

Superb.
We were here for two nights and absolutely loved the site. The highlight is without doubt the reception, help and friendliness of the warden Steve.
The site is lovely and quiet and so beautiful with a very clean toilet and facilities block. Our first time using EHU and no problems at all. We really liked the fact there was water service on every pitch we saw, really helpful and cut down the number of trips to the facilities to get water for a brew.
The local town, Presteigne, has just about everything you might need, pubs, supermarkets, take-aways and antique shops!
Perfect place for a relaxing stay, kids and dog thoroughly enjoyed it despite there being no dedicated play area.
I honestly can't think of any negatives, even the price (normally a grumble of mine) was very good and happy to pay it.
We well certainly be back to the site and will make it a regular stop for us.

What a fantastic location
Lynda & Steve the wardens are such a treasure they can't do enough for you.
I have recommended this site to all my friends and family, I will continue to do so.
Lynda never seems to stop always going the extra mile.
The town is less than a mile away - a great dog friendly site

Another trip to what is now openly known as 'our' very fav campsite. Us being a group of five couples who all live in the same street and take 'our' camping holidays together.
The main reason for this site being so special is down to two specific items.
1. The Warden is the most pleasant man who is the absolute model of campsite wardens. He also supports my team (Wolves) so that's got to be good.
2. The place is peace and quiet but not too far from a village that has all you may require (pubs/restaurants/supermarket etc)
The site is undergoing a bit of ground work at the moment to allow for more pitches but that doesn't affect the atmosphere at all. The grass EHU pitches are all flat and are next to the small river Lugg. (keep little ones close).
When we were there the weather can only be described as Welsh. So LOTS of rain but the site drained well and the toilet/showers were never in a mess. Its nice to note that there are lots of shower gels/shampoos and deodorants left in the blocks in case you forget your own.
The site is located in a valley so when the sun does come out (It did once honest) the place gets lovely and warm very quickly.
Just in case the rain was a fluke 'we' are all making a return visit in August and this time we ARE taking sun cream.
In brief then, a top site run by a top bloke it gets 5* from our group.

We spent a few nights at this lovely quiet site. I certainly agree that the warden was very helpful indeed, and very friendly. The site and facilities are very well cared for and spotlessly clean.
The warden told us we could easily walk into Presteigne across fields as the road had no pavements, but as the weather was so wet, we didn't try it.
Our only complaint would be that the grass area that we were pitched on became waterlogged and was slow to drain.
We visited the Judges Lodgings in Presteigne which was most enjoyable and very interesting. There are nice eating places and pubs in Presteigne too, and lots of walks in beautiful scenery all around the area.
We would certainly return!

We have just spent the Easter weekend at rock ridge, we have been camping for many years now and have found some nice sites but we have to say this is the best. The wardens are so helpful nothing is to much trouble. We had a little problem with the electric on the first night but Steve the warden was there straight away to sort it, nothing seems to be to much trouble for him. Toilets and showers very clean. It is a well looked after site and will hopefully be returning for may day bank hols,

This is our second visit to this park and its just as fab as the first time, even though its changed hands. The warden is really helpful and was great. We had a pitch by the river. The site is very flat. Toilets/showers clean, hand soap and cream supplied by the site is a nice touch. Pot wash. Laundry room has a sofa and book shelf so you can have a chill whilst your washing doing. Shops not far away, about 5 mins drive. Tuffins is a real find in Knighton, a very quirky supermarket with allsorts there and I mean allsorts. They have a great butcher and deli counter. The meat is excellent prices with big quantities. The car park is a little scary as same in/out door shared with the petrol forecourt, but once been a couple of times its fine.
Back to the campsite, there is a bridge over the river which leads up to the hills where you can go for a lovely walk, and the river is shallow enough that you can paddle or kids can play, if there has been a lot of rain then currents are strong, but you can see the water easily from the grass. Its a good site with easy access to explore Wales.

A clean, quiet and well maintained park. Child and dog-friendly. The toilet, shower block was regularly cleaned and even had toiletries supplied in case you had forgotten to pack something. There is a laundrette and dish washing facilities. Local village is only about a mile away and its not too far away from the larger shopping centres. There is a river on the site if you fancy a spot of fishing, and if you like coarse fishing there are places nearby, definitely ideal for a relaxing break.
