Stayed here for two night on our way to dover - calais ferry crossing.
Well run site.
Courteous staff.
Good shower and toilet facilities.
Would use again as a stopover.
Logistically well situated for easy visiting of surrounding places of interest.

Beautiful and peaceful site, good bathrooms. Warm welcome. British campsites are pricey and this one was no exception. Be warned, it's impossible to get dinner in Woodhall Spa and neighbouring villages on a Sunday evening. All restaurants advertised at site were closed. Found the chippie we were searching for in neighbouring Coningsby the next day, as well as an excellent cafe/teashop on the main street. Our mission was to visit the Battle of Britain flight, and we weren't disappointed. Good exhibition and guided tour worth the small charge. This site was very conveniently located.

We camped for 3 nights and the wardens managed to hold a pitch next to us for friends arriving later in the day.
The shower block was fine and never had to queue although site was not full.
Very peaceful location. Lots of room in the tent field to play, but we were told no football allowed. This had to be in the tiny area fenced off for ball games.
Saying that all the children had a great weekend making their own entertainment.
A trip to the Kinema in the woods in Woodhall was very worthwhile and enjoyable.
The chip van was very welcome on Friday (if a little late), but better still was the mobile butcher that arrived on Saturday and set us up for a lovely BBQ.
All in all a very good trip.

This was our first time on a Caravaning and Camping Site and after using Caravan Club and Private sites we were very disappointed. It was our most expensive site to date and the facilities were cosmetically in the worse condition - rusty pipes and paint pealing from the ceilings. It was however reasonably clean and the wardens were helpful and friendly.
We perhaps were hoping for more as a friend of ours goes a lot and loves it here but we now feel he should get about more.
There are some nature reserve walks very close but dogs are not allowed which meant without going for an extremely long trek or going out in the car all I could do was walk up the lane and back with the dogs.
Woodhall Spa is a lovely town with woodland walk just off the town centre and public footpaths everywhere. We have our eye on another site in the town and will be going there in the near future.

Only spent 4 nights at this really peaceful and tranquil site. Great welcome from Bob and Yvonne who booked us in. Bob showed us to our pitch and even advised where to place the satellite dish.
The facilities are what you expect from the club sites and it was great to have a shower without having to continually push a button. All the facilities were kept really clean.
Woodhall spa is very close by so shops are not a problem. We used the local bus to go into Lincoln for the day which we caught in Woodhall Spa. Plenty of walking and cycling in the area especially Kirkby Moor which is on the doorstep. We will definitely be returning in the autumn.

We arrived midweek & were placed in the open field
As we had requested a sunny grass pitch. The hardstandings all seem to be in light shade at the bottom end of the site.
The so called dog walk is laughable, really small & to add insult injury there are notices about instructing campers to use it & not exercise dogs 'around the perimeter of the site'. The only other place to go was up & down the road outside the site. Some of the wardens did not seem particularly welcoming, nor were the horse flies.
The mens side of the shower block was clean but had definitely seen better days The ceiling above the showers was nearer black than white.
Woodhall Spa is a small attractive town with take aways, supermarket etc.
This is the 1st C&CC site out of over 20 that I have visited that I would not go back to or recommend to anyone else.

Very disappointing. Signs everywhere telling you where children and dogs can't go. Clean.Shop hardly open, welcome leaflet points out you have the facilities for 23 hours they only have 3 to clean.
Do not upset them! we had the miss fortune of not putting our tent in the correct spot, our error but we are not used to working out how far 6 metres is (markers would help) the manager was rude and we were not made to feel welcome. Had to climb through hedges to plug in electricity, this despite the site being half empty.
Very big field but children not welcome to play there! we will not be returning. Suggest that couples with no pets are their favourite guests.

Lovely site in open countryside. Wardens very helpful and friendly and the amenities of a good standard which is what I expect of a C&CC site. Only three showers in the ladies but never had to queue so they appeared to be sufficient for this site.
Very small dog walk but lots of nice walks just outside the site so this was not a problem. If you don't have a dog then there is a nature walk next door to the camp site which we would have loved to have followed but dogs are banned for the sake of the wildlife.
Woodhall Spa is lovely. Tourist information staff most helpful and provided a leaflet mapping out a nice walk of the village and surrounding area. The town walk is lovely and you get a chance to learn a little of the town and its lovely properties which are very grand.
Great cycling routes from the village too along a disused railway line, again Tourist information were most helpful with appropriate leaflets.

On arrival we were met and shown to a lovely pitch, staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Beautiful site and spotlessly clean facilities.
We were reminded on arrival of the chip van later that evening, mmm glad we didn't miss that.
Shop facilities in reception. Lovely hot showers in clean block.
Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely surroundings.
Good value for money. This is definitely a site we will be visiting again.

Our second visit to this lovely tranquil site.
As usual the facilities were spotless and the camp wardens welcoming and friendly. For a family with young children the play area would probably be a disappointment, just a grass fenced site, ideal for ball games but no play equipment and the dog walk is a token space too. But there are plenty of dog walks just outside the campsite.
A fish and chip van visits the site on Friday evenings, and it is a shortish ride into Woodhall Spa itself.
A site I would definitely recommend and one we will be visiting again.
