The site was very nice and we had a family of ducks visit every morning. Very quiet site except for the very occasional military aircraft.Toilets were very clean and tidy.Electric hook ups available. There is a separate dishwash area and laundry although there is only 1 washing machine and dryer. My only complaint about the site-not its fault mobile phone coverage almost non existent. The village of woodhall spa was fine enough although the fish and chip shop shut at eight o clock but there are other eateries in the area. Well within reach of the lovely city of Lincoln and many of the flight museums. Skegness rather too noisy, preferred Mablethorpe instead.

Been here several times and how our experience has changed over time. We used to really like it but in my opinion is now one of the most child unfriendly sites we have ever visited.! It is a real pity because site itself itself is lovely, pitches set in trees nice duck pond etc. Great if you're adults only but do think twice if you have 'outdoor' kids

Just had a really good weekend at this site - the weather helped, really sunny throughout. Greeted by friendly wardens, I asked for a pitch in full sun so he showed me to a pitch in the non electric field and let me feed my cable through the hedge. The toilets and showers are excellent as you would expect from CCC. The site is set in the countryside, there are 2 field areas and some hard standing pitches in the woods near the pond. The resident ducks waddle around all day. There is a small dog exercise area on site but we preferred to walk off the site as there are some nice woodland walks close by. Kirkby on Bain is just over a mile from the site and has a nice pub as you enter the village, it is very popular as whilst being served a couple of customers were told they were fully booked up for meals. Woodhall spa is a couple of miles away and has a good selection of shops, pubs and a supermarket.
Would recommend and will return.

Beautiful quiet site next to nature reserve. Modern clean showerblock, well kept lawns and pitches. We stayed under trees next to pond at the top of the site. TV signal good, site warden very helpful. Could do with a well stocked shop as site is quite isolated. Nearby town of Woodall Spa well worth a visit but got mugged by two old ladies running a cafe (£8.50 for a drink and two dry sandwiches) Kinema in the woods is just a short walk away. Chinese take away on main road very good. Windmill in Heckington still working and you can have a guided tour round. Site and local area very nice and we will certainly visit again.

We arrived Saturday evening - no booking - wardens found us a hardstanding where someone had checked out early. Beautiful pitch amongst the trees - loads of space. Wardens were brilliant - friendly, helpful and welcoming. Toilets and showers were spotless.
The whole site is kept lovely and a credit to the wardens.
Woodhall Spa as a town is worth wandering around - the land that time forgot.
A great site that's worth a visit.

Stayed here for two nights in August and what a nice site it is. Had trouble getting to the site as the Satnav sent me in the wrong way.
We were taken to our pitch by a very friendly warden and as it is a Camping and Caravanning Club site the pitch was large. We were under the trees which was nice.
The dog walk is small but there are loads of walks outside the site, which is very quiet and secluded. There is a Nature Reserve next door but dogs are not allowed.
The shower block is in the centre of the site and is very clean and tidy.
A short drive into the village is well worth the time. There is a monument to the Dambuster Squadron that were based nearby in the 2nd world war.
The main street is not very big but there is a cake shop to die for. Try there home made Sausage Rolls, the best I have ever had.
All in all a well kept site in a nice little town. We are sure will go back there sometime.

We have visited this site on numerous occasions, the first back in '06.
We popped in the other week to get another pennant, as we had lost our original one.
New owners have just taken over, and there have been some very positive 'upgrades' to the site.
We are always drawn to Lincolnshire, and Woodhall Spa is the ideal base.
If history is you thing, then Tattershall is the place to visit.
If your an avid flight enthusiast, RAF Conningsby inst that far away, but you wont get woken up by thundering Euro Fighters. Pop down and see the Battle of Britain line up, or just watch the take off's and landings from various spots on the perimeter.
On a clear night, the stars are your blanket. The field to the left is perfect for you amateur astronomers.
There is a large pond on site, so keep small children close and safe.
Plenty of hard standing too for all those with metal boxes.
For a family day out Skegness or Mablethorpe isnt that far away.
For peace and quiet, choose the large field to the left if you can, the facilities block is only a 2 minute walk, if that.

Just returned from a weekend on this site. Found staff on arrival extremely friendly and helpful. Showers and toilet blocks very clean and although the site was very busy we didn't feel crowded. Dog walk on site is very small although there is plenty of good walks around surrounding forests which is a short walk away. Would definitely return to this very pleasant site.

Stayed here over May Day BH weekend (the good weather one!). Site was nearly full but didn't feel crowded, facilities were adequate for the number of visitors so we didn't have to queue and the site managers were friendly and welcoming.
The Ebrington Arms is excellent. Great food and excellent beers. We spent our days walking on the lovely walks in the area so we didn't feel too guilty stuffing our faces afterwards!
The site is rural and peaceful with loads of wildlife around. We enjoyed having a pitch next to the lake which was ideal for cooling feet which have spent all day in walking boots, but the only downside was the proximity to the sites nature reserve area which little hooligans, sorry I mean children, spent time playing in, damaging the fencing and breaking branches off trees.
However this is still one of the best sites I've ever been to. Will we return? Yes, we've already booked, but for a quieter time when the little darlings are back at school.

Returned from Woodhall Spa this afternoon, after a 4 day break.
There was myself, my other half and 2 kids (aged 15 and 12)
Arrival and check in was painless. The staff were as friendly or friendlier as I have experienced at other C & CC sites. The site manager saw us to the pitch and lined us up. I had some queries regarding my club card points and the staff were great in the way they handled my questions.
The site was spotless with a lovely pond, and generally a really nice place to walk around.
We decided to treat ourselves and eat out alot.
The Ebrington Arms at Kirkby on Bain is a lovely pub. Great food, nice staff anda large selection of beers. It's just over a mile from the site, but a staedy stroll on a flat lane.
We tried two places at Woodhall Spa: The India Village (Indian) and the Golden Dragon (Chinese) and both served excellent food. The prices aren't cheap but the food was great.
Whilst in Woodhall Spa we saw a sign for 'The Kinema in the Woods' (Yes Kinema with a K) It is an old fashioned picture house with fantastic photographs and memorabillia of old films. We watched the new Indianna Jones film and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
I have visited many C & CC club sites and have not yet come acoss one I wouldn't revisit. Woodhall Spa did not let us down. It is more than worthy of a revisit. It felt perfect. We didn't see everything there was to see and will definitely return.
