Just had 2 great nights on this beautifully located, well kept site. After a spot check visit without the caravan we were introduced to Peter the warden who was so helpful and keen to answer all our questions as we had just changed to a larger twin axle unit. We were also concerned about the road up to the site in case we met another vehicle-he explained the rules so we were fine.
We booked in for the next weekend -made contact with Peter who showed us our pitch & give us the information pack & toilet block key. If we needed help just ring him. The pitches are hardstanding with quite a deep kerb to get over especially if you have a heavy unit using a mover- not good at using the car to manoeuvre! Help Peter!
Site very clean- facilities very good for adults with or without kids, including a cafe if you don't want to cook. Great walks over Baildon Moor- local shops/pubs 3mins away by car- approx 30mins walk.
Toilet block clean but don't like unisex shower changing idea -cubicles too small to get dressed in -would suggest separate Male & female blocks with larger cubicles. Other than this could not fault the site & will return soon.

Had a one night stay and thoroughly enjoyed this out of the way site. The unmade road to the site was interesting in our rear wheel drive car, however, well worth the bumpy ride.
On arrival the warden was very friendly and helpful.
Excellent breakfast at the on site cafe, the service was very friendly and the cafe immaculately clean.
The site is right on the top of the moor and has beautiful views into shipley glen.
Facilities were excellent, the site is entered and exited with a secure coded gate which gives peace of mind.
The site is very animal friendly with a few free roaming chickens, ducks and a number of peacocks, whilst quite loud, were very interesting to watch, we didn't mind them at all but some may find them noisy rather than entertaining.
Overall we had a lovely stay and would go back.
For people with children, it has a play area with climbing frames which was being enjoyed very much by a couple of young families during our stay, for those without children, there are pitches away from this area.

This is the second time we have stayed here and only the second time we have been camping. Pete the warden is really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely little site with a great kids play area. Showers and toilets spotless. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend if you just fancy chilling out for a couple of days with a few beers while watching your kids play.

Caravan- Static and comfortable.
Warden was Ron and he was a lovely guy and very helpful. He gave us a very useful list of places to visit.
Caravan Park was very good and scenery was beautiful.
Road up to park was a bit rough but when you get there the moor is delightful.
Loved the ducks, hens and peacocks that live and roam the park.
We stayed 6 nights and the weather was gorgeous.
Would go back again, definitely, loved it.

Just returned from two nights at Dobrudden, my son and I made a last minute decision to go camping and were finding it difficult to get a site. Rang Peter the warden who said yeah, wev'e plenty of room. Great site, nothing was too much trouble for Peter. Did his rounds regularly checking everyone was ok.
Showers and toilets were clean. Cafe was very well priced, staff friendly we just had drinks whilst it was raining on Sunday. Free range eggs were available and the chickens, ducks and peacocks roamed round (peacocks made a right racket, but I suppose that's nature for you).Lovely views and great for walking, There were lots of kids in the play area having a great time. Had great weather Friday, Saturday with rain in evening, rained hard on Sunday and when we got up everyone else had gone!
Recommended for anyone who doesn't want a clubhouse but likes a good walk.

This campsite was brilliant. Everyone was very friendly especially peter the warden cannot wait too go back.
Toilets and shower facilties were very clean and tidy. When you go take all the food and drink you need as the shop is basic. The views from the campsite are excellent. Good for people who like walking.
There is a separate area just for adults OK if you have no children. The play area was great for the children as there is not much else for them too do.

What a brilliant campsite.
We were only planning on staying for one night but with such great facilities, views and atmosphere we stayed for three nights instead.
The site has ample space for large groups and we pitched all together in the centre next to a stone circle which provided a great little area for cooking and chilling out.
The facilities on the site are fantastic with very clean showers, toilets, laundry and washing facilities all easily accessible. The view is stunning and the sunsets were incredible. The site is only ten minutes from the nearest village but feels secluded and has a great atmosphere.
We had a fantastic time staying here whilst rock climbing in the surrounding areas and will definitely be back again.

Have recently visited this site twice and will definitely go again.
The site has all that you need - clean toilets, showers (unisex but we never had an issue), washing up facilities, fantastic play area for the children. There is also a cafe on site, but we did not visit so cannot comment on it.
The peacocks, peahens and chickens that roam around add something special and we did not really have any problems with noise.
Peter, the warden, is helpful but not in your face.
The only slight down-side is the very bumpy access road over the moor, but the views more than make-up for the inconvenience.

Having just returned from a visit we found we needed a sleep due to the very noisy peacocks that lived here. The actual site was very nice although a bit of a trek to get up the moors to it (good job we have a 4X4)
On arriving at the gate we rang Peter as instructed and he gave us the code to get in and met us and showed us to our pitch, Slightly difficult to get up on the hard standing but he gave us a hand and then showed where everything was.
The unisex showers are not really my thing as you have nowhere private to get dressed & undressed. The toilets were very clean and tidy.
The cafe and shop was closed due to lack of staff. The site was very busy and has a lovely dog walk around the outside wall (about 15 mins)
We took a trip out to the village of Esholt and had a pint in the woolpack (about 10 mins by car ). We have enjoyed our 2 night stay here and we would visit again next time I will bring earplugs.

Fantastic site, great location will definitely return.
We stayed here whilst visiting Bingley Music Live, £7 in a taxi from Bingley to site - cheap as chips!
The facilities were fab, toilet clean and tidy, showers maybe would benefit from being more, but no complaints around cleanliness etc.
The guy that makes this site is Peter the warden, he is friendly, cheerful and extremely helpful.
The site is a touch windy being on top of the moor, but it is located perfectly for visiting the surrounding area, and location is perfect for Bingley Music Live.
