A great little site, with fantastic views. The site wardens were really helpful and laid back. Nothing was too much trouble. Some great walks for the dogs and not too far from the village of Baildon where there is a few pubs and a co-op etc. Would definitely visit again, but maybe in the summer when its a little warmer (can feel quite exposed on the moor at this time of year).
If I had any complaints at all it would be noise from the peacocks and the free range hens / turkeys that roam around the site, you don't really notice it in the day time, but it can be quite noisy at night.

This was a last minute booking due to not being able to get in to our usual campsites! What a find. The site is located in beautiful countryside. The tent pitches for families are fantastic as they are situated on the green which has a play area in the middle. Initially you think this would be noisy and crowded due to the kids area but it was fantastic. Plenty of space between tents. The kids were in view of us at all times which was ideal as the youngest camper was 2. A very chilled atmosphere! There isn't enough space for large ball games and you are not allowed hard balls on site but there is a field outside of the site which can be utilised. The toilet/shower block was not very modern but clean. The only criticism is that the toilet rolls and paper towels were not restocked during our stay, block cleaned or bin emptied. We did mention this to Peter, one of the wardens who apologised and said he had tried to enter the women's block but it was occupied. Next time we would contact him on his mobile. Peter was very pleasant, helpful and made us very welcome on our arrival.
It would be useful to have a bin next to the outside sinks used for washing dishes for people to empty their scraps into.
We decided to walk to the nearest village of Baildon which is not the best of walks with young children and pushchairs. Part of the walk is along a busy road and the off road bit is not suitable for pushchairs. The walk back is up hill which left me breathless (I walked back for the car!). Highly recommended though for adults, teenagers and older children who enjoy a challenging walk. It takes approximately 30 minutes to walk from the site to the village.
Other reviews mention the peacock and associated noise during the night. Along with the turkeys it was noisy during parts of the night but that's what camping is all about. It was great to watch the peacock wandering the site in the daytime. If you want a good nights sleep then book into a luxury hotel!
We will definitely be visiting this camp site again in the near future.

We stayed at this site initially and thoroughly enjoyed it. We returned 2 weeks later rather sooner than we were expecting. We stayed on the family side of the site but as the children were all below about 8 or 9 they were no trouble at all.
The warden on site Peter is born to the job driving around the site to make sure everything was ok and always a smile ( a man happy in his job).
Scenery is beautiful but nothing is too close to the site. Supermarkets and shops are a fair walk. Totally relaxing site who knows we may be returning in a couple of weeks. Is definitely on our favourites list.

Dobrudden farm site is the very best in this area and all the staff are really nice and very helpful and friendly. Peter our warden is exceptional and always around to help when you need him. We will be visiting again and again its so nice. The views are breathtaking and the site is very well kept and very clean. Toilet facilities are excellent and are always spotless. The only thing to improve this site would be a little shop for basic things. Also we feel the site could be a little bit better lit at night. The nearby village of Baildon is very good for shopping plus there are many takeaways and restaurants plus a very good fish and chip shop.

I stayed up in baildon with some friends over the weekend, we camped out in a tent. The warden was great he helped us put up our tent and helped us with the barbeque, it seemed every time we needed help he was there. The surroundings were gorgeous, beautiful sites and not too far from co op which is were we bought a disposable barbeque and a few drinks. It was great to get away and cheap as well. The toilets were very clean and pretty posh quite large as well. The showers were pretty dingy but the water was nice and warm, also a disabled shower and toilet facilities. The play area was cool too we had a little go on the swings and slide. The peacocks were gorgeous and weren't too loud I suppose. Although the weather could have been better but it was relaxing camping out in the rain. Plus there could be more bin areas I walked all around the camp looking for the bin, but found it in the end. All in all I'd give this site 9/10 and the main reason why I wouldn't rate it 10/10 is because there is no plug socket so no straighteners, so I felt rough all weekend because my hair was curly and if there had been plug sockets around I would have felt better in myself, so they should charge a little extra and add a few plug sockets. I will definitely be coming again, but with a car electricity adapter for straighteners waa hoo !

Had a lovely weekend at this site. The facilities were basic but clean and suitable for our needs. The shower block was unisex, which was a bit awkward for my husband, not sure if it is like this all the time though. The tent pitches were placed around the playground, which was great for our five year old as we could see him play at all times. The warden, Peter, was very friendly, helpful and kept an eye on things and we were given a booklet of local attractions and take aways, which is always handy to have. All in all a brilliant weekend and we will be returning soon, although hopefully when it is less windy!

We visited this site for 2 nights on a bank holiday weekend. The site is 1 1/2 miles from Baildon. The 1st mile is on road the next 1/2 mile is down a dirt track which takes you over the moors to the farm.
There a keypad entry system and electric gate. Peter the warden was great, you'll find him somewhere on site in his jeep. We booked an electric pitch. There are 2 camping fields a family one and an adults only one.
The toilets are very clean. The showers are unisex and have slow running water which takes awhile to warm up. There is also a laundry room and pot washing area.
There is a kids play area which the kids seemed to all enjoy!
The peacocks are a bit loud. The are other wild birds as well. They don't bother you they just wonder around. You can buy fresh eggs from the warden.
Plenty of Moorland walking to be had and great views.
Baildon's a nice village with a co-op (which s a bit hidden) a nice pub and a trendy bar, both of which were very busy each time we passed.
All in all a great 2 night break, would deffo visit again!
Great site and great value for money!

We have just spent a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Dobrudden Caravan Park, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Peter the warden was extremely helpful, pleasant and polite, a very funny man. We would like to thank the staff who made us feel welcome. The only thing I could find that I thought needed some attention was the showering area (I also suggested it might be a good idea to have individual cubicles to wash in). On our arrival the owner was in the middle of trying to make repairs to the road leading to the camp(an unenviable task) but still had a cheery smile and a welcome. My nephew thought the road was very exciting, he loved the childrens play area too. Fabulous walks on the moors and surrounding areas. Lovely to see all the different birds moving around the site and I have to say it was lovely to watch the peacocks displaying their plumage.I would recommend this site to anyone who enjoys the true camping experience and we can't wait to visit again. A big thank you!

I can't comment on the site itself having never stayed there, but knowing the area very well I must dispute some of the facts in other reviews. While in a quiet rural location this site is only about half a mile off the main road up a narrow lane, less than a mile and a half from the nearst pub and a little further (still under two mile) from Baildon with all it's amenities including a reasonable size co-op. It's less than 7 miles 20 mins drive from the center of Bradford with all that a big city has to offer.

Peter the warden was very welcoming. Lots of peacocks and other wild fowl walking about, which didn't cause any problems. The site is mostly full of unkempt static caravans, with no real views to be had. The facilities block is under restoration which is greatly needed, not the impression given by the web site. The drive is a good half a mile long, not ideal for small cars, due to the pot holes and bumps. The nearest pubs and shops are a good ten minuets away by car.
