We completely struck gold with this site. It was found last minute the day that we were to go to Bingley Festival for the weekend. It's the perfect place to stay close to home, yet feel miles away.
A lovely walk down into Bingley, although steep yet interesting on the way back.
The site itself was more than we expected due to it being such amazing value for money. Very clean facilities and even had mirrors for those of us that hadn't brought anything!
As for the staff, well, Peter was fantastic. Friendly to everyone and interesting. It was really refreshing and even if the site had been rubbish, that alone would have made us want to return.
The on site cafe was also amazing. Friendly, great food and lovely staff. Again, more than we could have wished for, and definitely going to be a favourite with us. Thank you Dobrudden!

We stayed at this fantastic campsite for two nights as we were going to the Bingley Music Live festival. Having been told by our friends that we were staying 'on top of Bingley Moor' I had visions of being stranded in the middle of nowhere with no facilities and a long taxi ride back to civilisation! Dobrudden Campsite is the best of both worlds - it is situated just outside Baildon on the moors, but only a short taxi ride back into town - only £7 into Bingley. The site itself is fantastic, small cafe for those who don't fancy cooking, 3 different areas for pitching tents - climbing frames for kids to play on. Toliet & shower facilities were very clean - Bear in mind we were there at a very busy time with the festival being on and we couldn't complain about a thing We were a party of 4 and there was more than enough room for everyone to pitch their tents with plenty of space around us.
I would like to say a big Thank You to the warden Pete who was friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble - He even had time for a chat at about midnight while he was doing one of his rounds! :-) We will definitely be going back as we would like to spend more time exploring the area and enjoying the spectacular views.

Just got back from Dobrudden and thought I'd give you our thoughts.
We got to the site after touring the moors for an hour due to the lack of road signs (cheers Bradford Council) but a call to the site got us there eventually. We crawled up the track avoiding the pot holes and other cars and were met by Peter. He showed us our pitch and pointed out the facilities.
We had a lovely pitch with hook-up in the quieter lower field with a nice view over the valley. We pitched in a rising wind and got settled faily quickly. Sadly the wind continued to rise and heavy rain followed this continued for the weekend on and off. This kinda spoiled the weekend for us.
The facilities seemed a little tired and for the number of people on site a little inadequate. They were a little untidy and in need of a some work, things such as toilet seats missing and bins in great need of emptying.
A huge hint, make separate shower blocks!

What a truly fantastic site!
We went with a large group with children aged from 11 months to 11 years. It was the August Bank Holiday weekend and so the site was very busy. However, the toilets and the shower blocks were always clean and fully stocked and there were enough toilets and showers to mean you never had to wait.
The playground was one of the best that we have seen on a campsite. Tents were pitched around the playground which meant that even the youngest of children could go off and play whilst the adults could chill and still keep an eye on them!
The wardens were most friendly and helpful and even handed out sweets to the children whilst they played!
I really could not find a thing to grumble about on this site!
We will definitely be going back next year!

We first came to the site at the last bank holiday for 1/2 night buts decided to leave it there as we could store it on site.(£400) This has made it so much easier and the warden Pete helps us by setting up the caravan when we are coming up, We go up most week ends now and have just had 3 days there. The site is clean bright and in the middle of beautiful country side. It is a great base. The showers and toilets are lovely and clean with fresh flowers outside. We will continue to go again and again. We have met some lovely people and the cafe on site is great for a cooked breakfast or a Sunday lunch or even dinner if you don't want to cook! It is a great site for kids dogs and animal lovers as there are lots of peacocks and hens running about. Pete will make you feel welcome time and time again.

I would like to say what a great time we have had each time we have been up to our little van, that has always been looked after by Peter who is a great warden always approachable and ready too help out novice caravanners ! Without his support I am sure we would never have managed a single night. Now for the site. Clean tidy, breath taking views, great base to explore. We will be back. Thanks to Peter for all his support.

This site is lovely if you have small children but is no good for older kids as there is no where to play ball games. They are very strict about this. The toilet block is cleaned regularly but has a bit of a strange smell. You camp around the play area so is great too keep an eye on younger kids. The site is basically in the middle of no where and very hard too find.
The warden is really nice and helpful and is the best thing about the site.
The cost was really cheap at 15 pounds per night for 4 adults and 4 kids

Wow what a great site, we will return again and again.
Total hassle free site. Loved the fact that you can let the kids off the leash without worrying about them. In sight all the time. Kids mentioned the water tasted funny, but I wouldn’t know about that as I was on the lager. Anyway a drop of Robinsons sorted that out for them. Loved the birds wandering about and yes they made a weird cat like noise but that's peacocks for you. Nobody should have a complaint about this site. It has clean toilets, a shower, somewhere to wash your pots, bins, running drinking water and fresh air. I say sell your tent and go to Butlins if you expect more.
There is a cafe on site that seems to open till 9pm. Great if you can’t be bothered to cook. Wouldn’t know if it’s any good as I never went in.

Been twice. Almost feel like a regular. Peter knew us from our first visit! Will go again. Peaceful clean, a bit basic but enough to keep our 3 kids happy all day. Good walking nearby. Bailden a bit of a trek for supplies, but just go in the car if it’s too long! Mixed showers take a bit of getting used to. Recommended.

We decided to visit Dobrudden as a last minute thing so called ahead and spoke to Peter, Peter was on hand when we arrived to show us our pitch and give a quick tour. Loved the fact the tents pitch around the kids play area so they are in view at all times. The facilities were basic but clean and having a lock on the toilet blocks stopped the kids messing about in them. Our pitch was non EHU but grassy and flat and well sheltered by bushes, a bonus as can be a little windy. Overall very nice and can see a few more weekends at this site even with Peacocks.
