Just returned from spending the jubilee bank hol weekend here, This was a great site, that's it.
But if you want a more in depth review then read on, the staff cannot seem to do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as they can for. This started even before we got to site. I booked in over the phone, then they sent out the confirmation all pretty normal, when I opened the letter I was given a few leaflets about our stay and if we used a sat nav a proper post code to navigate by ( I thought this was extremely useful seeing how they knew previous customers had issues with getting to the site). We got straight there, but if we hadn't got the satnav they had systematically wrote down easy to follow directions great!
The site was quite large, a bit like the tardis which was great for us I like 50+ pitch sites it makes it easier for my 8 year old son to make friends and have a great time as well.
After we had been on site we realised there was a family bathroom ! great but all the keys was out! then 30mins later one of the staff came and found out caravan and explained they had borrowed the key from one of the staff, once again I felt this was over and above the call of duty and was really touch ( it meant that it was a lot easy to bathe our 5 month old grandson).
Pitch size was more than adequate hard standing how ever most of the pitches are seasonal so booking is essential but when you do book I don't thing you will be disappointed, we wasn't.
Summary.
Great size site, great pitches, great facilities, unbelievable good location for Blackpool etc. Staff and great.
I am pretty sure we will be back, and the wife is very very fussy about which sites we do visit more than once.

Just returned from Eastham Hall after a 3 night stay over Easter. The park itself was very quiet and tidy with 3 shower/toilet blocks and a kids playground.
The shower block nearest to our tourer had very little hot water. We tried showering at different times of the morning but at best it was luke warm! I reported this to staff and was told (without apology) to use another block which was 5 minute walk away.
There was was a shop in Reception which was very basic (hardly sold anything!) so a trip to the supermarket is essential. There are no other facilities, which makes £30 per night a bit too expensive. We have stayed at many other sites with lots more going on for this price!
The good side of it is that we could visit Lytham (which was lovely) and Blackpool easily. We would only return if the prices were lower!

Me and my wife and son stayed here for two nights midweek. We used it as a base so we could visit the surrounding area (lytham/Blackpool)
The site itself is very clean and of a high standard, showers are warm and toilets spotless.
There is Wi-fi available if you need it, the reception sells Bread, milk, newspapers etc.
There is an excellent dog walk on site if you are thinking of taking your 4 legged friend/friends.
Lytham nearby is a very nice Upmarket town, a further 10 minute drive or so, is St Annes which has a lovely sandy beach.
We will visit again in 2012.

Having always been 'campers' we had literally just got our caravan and decided to take it for a spin. When I rang the site to book, the call was answered by a very friendly lady who said as we were new to caravanning would give us a pitch with plenty of space. All the staff we came across were friendly. The site was perfect if you are wanting something quiet (which we did). There is plenty of wildlife around, a lovely dog walking area and something to keep the children amused. The toilet/shower blocks were fantastic, lovely and clean and the shower itself was perfect. We can't wait to go there again, and if we could afford it we would have a seasonal pitch! Its only a mile from the sea. They even give you a map with restaurants/takeaways marked on. We couldn't ask for more!

We stayed at this site for 2 nights after getting our new campervan. The site was very quiet as out of season. Toilet facilities were very clean and warm. Electric hook ups and hard standing very good.
Walked into Lytham twice. Took about 40 minutes to walk into the centre of Lytham where transport links to Blackpool and St Annes is very good. You would need a torch if walking back at night as the road is quite dark. Nice restaurants and pubs in Lytham. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We recently spent the weekend here with our 2 children. Even though we live within half an hour of Lytham, we wanted to incorporate a trip to Blackpool Illuminations with a weekend in the caravan.
The booking process was very easy and the lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful in giving us directions and telling us not to use the Sat Nav on our car as this would actually direct us into a neighbouring farm!
When we arrived, the drive up to the site was good and we parked in a waiting lane at the security barrier whilst I went to check in. The staff were very friendly and we were given a map of the site, along with other details which included addresses and telephone numbers of local Takeaways and telephone numbers for doctors, dentists, vets, etc.
We had to leave a £10 returnable deposit for a swipe card for the barrier, but we thought the barrier was a great idea as it made the site feel safe and secure.
We had a large hard-standing pitch for our caravan, although we seemed to be surrounded by seasonal pitches which were empty. Although this made it lovely and quiet, at times we felt a little isolated from the rest of the site.
The site was well maintained and the warden was visible throughout the day generally cleaning and tidying. There was never any litter lying around and dog owners were very responsible, cleaning up after their dogs (and I believe poop bags were available free of charge from reception).
There is a recycling centre right by the driveway up to the caravan park, but in no way were we aware of it whilst we were actually on the site.
The shower blocks and toilets were very clean and lovely and warm, although on the Friday night, my husband said the lights weren't working in the mens loos!
The children's play area was very good, although there wasn't really much for the toddler age group.
Behind reception, there was a small shop selling basic provisions, but there were a number of supermarkets nearby.
The lovely upmarket seaside town of Lytham is only a 5 minute drive away, with some great restaurants, pubs and of course chippys (try Whelans chippy, either eat in or Take Away) and there are some fantastic boutiques too!
For the kids, there is plenty of space for them to run around and play footie or fly kites on Lytham Green (beware of dog dirt) and Lowther Gardens and Pavillion provides a great new play park, along with pitch and put, crown green bowls and a great little cafe. Further up the coast is St Annes with its hotels, bustling town centre, pier and beach.
There's loads to do here with younger kids, although a lot of it is seasonal, so it's not quite so good through the winter months, but Blackpool is only about a 10 to 15 minute drive away from the site.
All in all Eastham Hall is a great little site. Near enough to Lytham, St Annes and Blackpool if you want the hustle and bustle, but in a nice, quiet, relaxing part of the Lancashire Countryside.

What a great site. Stayed for the last week of the summer holidays and found a warm welcome on arrival and a very clean site. There was two toilet blocks to choose from, both heated and with clean and always hot showers.
The owners try very hard to keep the site neat and tidy and we constantly saw staff mowing the grass or trimming the hedges. At the rear of the park is a well equipped children's park with a set of swings set just outside the main barrier controlled entrance.
Corner shops for essentials within five minutes walk, and tesco, morrisons and aldi are five minutes by car. Blackpool should only be attempted by car as it's about 15mins by car from the site although a bus service is available from just outside site.
A fully functioning re-cyling centre is just outside the site entrance. The only thing that slightly annoyed us a bit was the site is under the flight path out of blackpool airport with the first plane passing overhead about 07:30 and then about every 40mins. Would definitely go back !

Very good site. It had a great playground for the kids and also a football pitch. Toilets and showers were clean. Staff was nice and friendly especially one in particular who remembered our name and what pitch we was on which I think was impressive as there was quite a lot of campers.
The directions to the site that got posted to us was very good and easy to follow.
We stayed there due to it being near blackpool and it was only a short drive to get there.
If going to blackpool again I would stay again and I would recommend this site.

This was our first visit and we be back this is a well set out site with two spotless new toilet blocks that have large shower cubicles. Parking is on hardcore in front of the caravans which saves the area around the caravan we had plenty space for the awning. The drainage was very good even after more than 36 hours of rain we only had a tiny bit of water in the awning I've had more spilling the dogs water dish.
When we got there the staff were friendly and the info pack was very good showing where the large supermarket, chip shops, post office and other hot food shops are in Lytham.
This is a site for a relaxing holiday as there is no club or bar so if you have children who need constant entertainment then you could have problems but they have two well equipped play areas fenced off for younger children.
Lytham is only 2mins by car or 25mins walk if you want a night out and taxi fare is less than £5,00. We had our dogs with us and the area for dogs is bigger than other sites we have used and the dog owners kept it clean as the bins were not allowed to overflow. The only fault I found with this site was the lighting if you left the caravan when it was dark a torch was needed the ladies toilets were at the back of the block so you didn't even get any light from the caravans we have been on sites in the national forests and they provided lights so a few lights about Eastham Hall would be great. But we have still told friends to give them a try.
