We visited this site to try out our new tent the pitches were a bit small granted it was a daily mail camping offer so cheap to book. The toilet and showers are fine plenty of them. The swimming pool was brilliant kids had loads of fun in there. The beach is a very short away and once you have crossed the short strip of pebbles the sandy beach is great the water is shallow for a good distance so great for the kids to splash around in. The local chippy and shops are right by the beach as well.

Stayed here for 7 nights and fully enjoyed every day of it, even though the weather could have been better it was still possible to use pool as was heated comfortably. Having a 4 and 11 year olds the site was very secure with plenty of CCTV etc, which gave you piece of mind. And the security barriers gave you piece of mind without looking like colditz.
In a nut shell if you want a not too commercialised site which is clean and tidy but still has things on site to do then don't hesitate to book a spell here.

Just got back after a very wet but fantastic weekend. Family of 4 consisting of 2 adults and 2 children, aged 9 and 17.
When we arrived there was a slight problem with the pitch we were booked on, however the receptionist moved us to another which was in a great spot. The whole site was well maintained.
On site was a very clean shower block plenty of toilets also well kept, with free hair dryer and shaving points. On site laundrette which was handy after getting wet while setting up.
There was a heated swimming pool with time slots 9am till 10:30am for adults only splash free swimming but due to the weather we were unable to use however the water was crystal clean, also for the children there was a park and goal posts, games room with two pool tables dart board and games machines. The club had an adult’s only room.
Just off site there was a beautiful beach another play ground for the children and a iron age fort if you feel the need for a short climb with fantastic views. A small shop selling gifts 2 fish and chip shops with cafe’s and a new restaurant which will be trying on our next visit. The surfer one of the fish and chip shops also sold welsh ice cream which was very nice, and the hog roast is a must try. There is also an Indian takeaway which l would avoid at all cost as you get a better curry from Asda.
Just off the beach are some public toilets which are also well kept.
Things to do around the area
Caernarfon airport is about a mile from the site offering pleasure flights and also has an aviation museum and cafe.
Caernarfon itself is beautiful with an amazing castle, also the Welsh highland railway.
Despite the rain and slight gales we had a great time and can’t wait to go next year.

Fantastic site, showers were brilliant and very clean, toilets very clean and also had a hair dryer in the ladies which was very handy. Bit of a mix up with the pitches but that got sorted. Didn't try the outdoor pool as the weather wasn't that good. 2 chippys outside the camp site, food is really nice, Indian restaurant outside the camp food was very bad indeed so we took it back. We definitely going back to the site again next year

We have just got back from our first trip to this site. We were a party of nine adults with assorted children. Our pitch was very large, plenty big enough for our Vango Diablo 900. The site was tidy and well maintained and the shower and toilet block was clean. The showers were always nice and warm and they were free. The on site bar was excellent, very nicely decorated and with a separate bar for adults only.
The area is very scenic and the near bye iron age hill fort is well worth a walk up for the spectacular views of Anglesey an the LLeyn peninsular. The beach is very nice with access to a couple of shops but if you want a really spectacular beach with a buzzing little town attached then Abersoch is only a thirty minute drive away.
A great site which I have no hesitation in recommending

We decided to visit here as we wanted a campsite close to a beach. The newspaper vouchers made the 2 night stay a real steal. The wash up area and shower block were close to our pitch and were clean but I do miss a shower curtain to keep my clothes dry. The pool was closed so was unable to try it out.
The whole site although quite large was quiet enough at night.
The site was professionally run and the wardens on hand for help. The security barrier was a nice touch.
Lots of walks along the sea front and Caenarfon not too far away for a night on the tiles!

We decided to use this as a base for us to walk up Snowdon, a clean and tidy site with nice and clean toilets/shower block although the showers were a bit temperamental going from very hot to cold then hot again but managed OK, the pool was ok for the kids although it shut at 5pm but the missus liked the adult only session in the morning, only a pub on site, and a short walk to the beach revealed a small gift shop and a couple of chip shops neither were very good. There is a Tesco’s and Morrisons about 7 miles away into Caernarfon
I was very disappointed that there is no curfew on at night we had several groups playing music till the early hours on two nights not good if you want an early start
The ground was fairly even on our pitch with a stone filled channel (not sure whether for cables or drainage) about 5 feet in front of the electric point so had to pitch towards the centre on the area instead of being tucked under the dividing banks

Camped here at the beginning of May - was the only tent on the site at the time (maybe others had seen the forecast!) Never the less it was a great three nights and we enjoyed our stay.
First time camping with a baby (7 months) and a 3 year old so it was tough but made easier by the excellent family facilities, family shower rooms etc. It's a good place to go for your first camp after having a baby (we did with the first too)
I though that it was reasonably priced too - just outside the high season. Plenty to do for the kids 2 play areas, nice smooth level roads for kids bikes etc good club house and games room on site (sadly the local pub has gone from the village since last year).

Just got back from the may bank holiday weekend (Friday to Monday) we were a party of 2 adults and 2 children, 1 who is 2 and the baby at 7mts
After getting booked in at reception by the polite friendly staff we set up on the pitch we were given, which was huge, given the size of the trailer tent being 14ft wide 21 ft long and the car still went at the side.
The site was pretty busy and we still had a lot of room. Showers were fantastic and the outdoor pool was well heated and it was nice to see it was only open to adults for an hour in morning, which gave you the option of a nice relaxing swim
The only slight miff is the water points in the fields don’t have a path to them, but that’s not such a big problem, the site does have a couple of child play areas which is fantastic to see
The site does have banks around each section which don’t look great but do help with keeping the wind down, as some of the site would be quite open to this if they were not there. All round this is not a bad site and I have been to wors.
Could do with food on site but again not a major issue. Well recommended visit and we will be back again soon.

We made a visit to this site the bank holiday weekend, I have to say it is the most expensive site to date. We stayed for two nights, the cost was £78 for two adults and a child. We stayed on a super pitch, it looks like there is work in progress, and there are mounds of what appears to be land fill surrounding the sections.
Our view out of our window was bits of plastic bags stuck out of the ground blowing in the wind, and behind was the waste area and every now and then we got a whiff, I am glad it wasn't hot weather.
The club was nice and the kids were having a good time in the pool. The grass on our super pitch was rough and lots of nettle's, not the place for our 2 year old grandson to play,
We will not be going back I am sorry to say, as the area in general has declined. It looked as though the dingles pub had shut down and apart from the beach, it as nothing to offer.
