Stayed at dinlle caravan park last weekend with the wife. The park is lovely and clean and plenty of pitching space for tents and the outdoor pool was unbelievably warm. The seperate adults only bar and conservatory was relaxing and all the staff were extremly friendly. My only gripe was that it would be nice to eat on site instead of having to find somewere else other than that we hope to return again asap. Ps we went to port merrion and its beautifull and into port maddock for a bit of shopping had a lovey day out.Yours.Stewey

Just returned from this top class site, arrived on the Bank holiday Monday to be greeted by a gale, good job no awning with us. We were welcomed very warmly when we went to check in. Had a very enjoyable chat with the couple manning reception told us that the weather was on the up. We had paid extra for a fully serviced pitch well worth it, huge pitch all our needs catered for, clean with no rubbish from previous stayers. The shower block was very clean with plenty of hot water which you could set yourself, and none of this pressing a button every 30seconds to keep the water running, whatever time of the day they were always clean, surprising when you think the kids where off school and the site was pretty much full. The only small gripe is the size of the club but hay you cant have every thing. Going again yes

This was our first time camping and I was fairly aprehensive about choosing a site and these reviews really do assist. Site itself was clean however with the wet weather a lot of the pitches and most of the ground in the park was saturated and extremely boggy. Showers/toilets and washing up area very clean and constant hot water. Pool very warm, this caused a bit of a problem as I did not pack a swimming costume as I did not think for one minute I would be swimming outdoors. Took ages to find a shop that sold one and my 6 year old would not give up until I took him swimming. A few little shops 5 minute walk down a lane which sell essentials however no swimming costumes! Two chippies (one of them ran out of practically everything by 9 pm not sure what they do when they are busy!). There is also what is described as an 'Indian Restaurant', we did this experience on our last night and I can only describe this extremely unpleasant!
Beach is at the bottom of the lane and nice to walk along in the evening with lovely sunsets. Did not go to the Bar as we had a cooler and our own beer. However only downside for us was we were camped right next to the childrens playground and although this was great during the day as my little one could play right behind us, no objection to young children playing and enjoying themselves, in the evening this turned into the regular hangout for the teens with alcopops until around 12-1am. Need I say more. We were only staying over the bank holiday and so I didnt complain, the office and the staff seem to be extremely busy all the time but if I had booked a week here I would definitely be complaining and asking to move. There was a nice couple next to us who did complain on the second morning about the glass as they had children too however the situation was just repeated the following morning.

Smashing site. Very welcoming although can get a bit noisy on school holidays. Superb scenery all around and a blue flag beach. Shops and cafes on beach front are a bit tacky. But we recommend a visit to the restaurant and bar just around the corner. Lovely hosts and real food! the perfect end to the night for everyone

Site very good; we were rather impressed. The toilets, hand basins, sinks and showers were sparkly clean. Outdoor swimming pool was open at reasonable times with 9 til 1030 adults only. Bar very child friendly and staff always cheery. Only downside was no shop on site, the Bar didn't do meals. Just a quick walk away was the golden sanded beach which was great for the children. The local cafes were part of chip shops so no healthy meals - only 'with chips'. The local shops were very basic but Tesco was only 7 miles way in Carnaerfon which was a plus. We would recommend the local pub, not the one closest to Dinas Dinlle but the one in the next village. They were very child friendly providing games for the children and the meals were decent too. Our only problem with the holiday was the weather turned extremely windy but hey, this is Britain after all.

Lovely site, very family orientated. Clean showers/toilets. Outdoor pool warm and had adult only swim sessions (great sun trap when sun is shining). Nice beach short walk away. Again - only down side is no shop for basics but supermarkets within short drive. Would recommend this site and will visit again.

The perfect site for us. This site is 100% family orientated with excellent staff who are always smiling.
The outdoor pool is the warmest I've been in and the free showers are very clean. The main room in the club is for families which makes a nice change as most sites push families to some back room. The weekend we were there they had a singer who involved the kids with dancing competitions and made a really good holiday atmosphere.
All in all an excellent site which we will now use as our weekend gettaway.

Nice site. Lovely area with great views of Snowdon to one side and lovely beach to the other. Only let down by not having a shop and would have been nice to get a meal in the pub. Kids were allowed to run around in bar area while football was on which was a shame. Local shops not up to much and not much open for a bank holiday weekend. Weather not very good which was a shame as nothing to do in bad weather

Lovely site. Quite big and as we went on a bank holiday it was full. I was expecting lots of noise but it was pretty quiet considering how many people were on it. Pitches were quite very spacious Toilets were ok. I have seen cleaner! No soap in dispensers & Hand driers weren't working! Plenty of toilet cubicles, launderette in the same block. Only complaint was I never got a Hot shower. It was freezing! This happened every day and most people showering were complaining over how cold they were. So be warned! Lovely Pub on the site. Couple of pool tables and they have the family Bar as well as an adult only bar room. Had entertainment on most nights and beer prices were reasonable. Nice big screen as well, which attracted all the men for the football! Also they have a small play park for kids. Check out the beautiful beach just outside the Park. My kids loved it, as we were blessed with some sunshine. There are a few shops just outside the park but most of these were shut, which I found strange for a May Bank Holiday! All in all a good site, which we all enjoyed. Was nice to have a drink in a lovely on site pub,as I find most campsite pubs are usually grubby looking! Would go again if they sort their showers out!

Loved this site, very clean, good facilities, bonus of an outdoor pool. Cannot be faulted at all, will return soon. Pitches are well spaced out. Bar area is separated for adults only as well as the pool at certain times. Very handy for Caernarfon and Pwllheli but the area very near by is a bit poor.
