Brilliant site, only stayed one night again this year mores the pity.
Facilities top notch, no charge for showers, they even put out shower gel etc for customers use although I did notice that these disappeared very quickly, other customers must have been very quick with there use!
Only slight annoying thing is getting washed in the 'private' sink cubicle the larger lady turns the automatic hand dryer on with her body, but at least its included in the price and does keep you even warmer than the already warm room!
The wash up room is great with a freezer for freezer packs and FREE Wifi which allowed for quick check of emails during our stay. The advantage of decent digital TV signal this year was just an added bonus.
The pitches are spacious ample room for us and really handy for having a hardstanding and 16amp electricity. We forgot our levellers for the camper our pitch was very slightly sloping but didn't affect us.
It was very nice to be able to get a quick meal on our late arrival too, lovely fresh fish n chips - simply fantastic.
There was no noise much after 9pm which lead to a peaceful nights sleep.
A brilliant if too short stay, we will return, a site for a peaceful, happy stay on which everything seems to have been thought of.

Well we were booked for another campsite, but with the gale winds we went to Maustin our favourite hide away.
Maustin never. No never lets us down, the weather may of been horrific for the first couple of days but we still aways have a peaceful relaxing holiday, regardless of the weather.
The site itself is very clean and tidy, love the bee and butterfly flowers and plants, the smell is gorgeous when you walk past to the toilet and shower block. When you arrive you will notice that everyone seems to leave there problems at the gate and just time passesby with no rush, lovely.
So if peace, quite and the countryside is not what you want, stay away! Leave it for those who do, the couple who run the site are always helpful, and bend over backwards to help.

This was our second visit to this site and we enjoyed it even more than our first. The facilities are spotlessly clean. This also applies to the rest of the site. There is also a nice bar and restraunt which sells good food, great fish and chips to take away. Not much near the campsite and the shop does not sell a lot but if you go prepared this is not a problem. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of this site. Great place to just sit and chill or go for a walk. Will be visiting it again next year definitely.

Just returned from Maustin caravan park after a first class stay.
This is a delightful site, very tranquil and spacious. The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make your stay an enjoyable one.
The facilities were immaculate and little touches such as complimentary shower gel, razors and washing powder gave this site the edge over others we have visited.
It is set in a very peaceful area but within easy travelling distance of Wetherby, Ilkley, Otley, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon and York.
There is a first class restaurant on site which opens at the weekends and Sunday lunch. There are 3 other pubs within easy travelling distance which also serve good food.
The village of Kirkby Overblow also has a small village shop.

Stayed here for 3 nights in July. A lovely clean site with excellent shower block and washing facilities.
A very well organised site. Probably the best/cleanest/most functional I have ever used on a camp site ! This is a lovely quiet site which is surrounded by nice walking areas.
Local towns within easy distance by car. Olly was also very helpful and friendly. Will be returning to this site in the near future.
There is an on-site restaurant, The Stables, which is open mainly at weekends. Would have spent more time there if it had been open longer.
A lovely place to relax.

Just had a lovely 2 night break at Maustins park, had lovely weather. Facilities are exceptional! Toilets and showers are pristine.
Stables restaurant and bar is really nice. Great little tourist info hut, and wildlife is everywhere. Watching the red kites swirling overhead was amazing.
Nice walk to nearest village, with 2 nice pubs both doing food.
No local maps available on site, so take your own O. S. Map!Lots of places to visit nearby, Harrogate, Knaresborough, and Harewood House are all within easy driving distance.
We will be back asap!

We stayed on this site at end of April (Royal Wedding Weekend) and it was fantastic!
Wardens are very helpful (even though they had there hands full with a royal wedding party)and the site is spotlesss.
The bar area is very welcoming and the food was delicious.
There are also great pubs locally, Scotts Arm's was very friendly and we really enjoyed Sunday lunch.
Toilet block was was the same standard with free hot showers and plenty of room.
Great site to relax and get away from everything.
Highly recommend this site!

We have just returned from our second weekend this year at Maustin Park. The end of October we needed a lot of luck with the weather and we got it. The site should be graded platinum not gold.
That's all I'm going to say, because when I want to book again I want a vacancy. The food in the restaurant is well beyond expectations, my husband is a chef so we give it the thumbs up.
Harrogate, Leeds and York are all within easy reach for a day out. Toilets / showers / dishwashing facilities still spotless. Still look brand new. Added bonus no children.

I can not believe our luck once more. Again I chose a weekend away reading the reviews of fellow campers of this wonderful camping site. No rules and regulations visible, not needed! Everybody had equal respect for this very well kept site. Toilets, beautifully clean, lovely 'little shower cubicles, free hair drying available, indoor pot washing. Every thing to a very high standard. But to top the lot.A very good on site restaurant. A little gem. In the brochure it suggests booking first, a definite must, an evening and meal to be remembered and commended, well done Maustin Park. We will certainly be returning

Having just returned from a weekend at Maustin, I cannot speak highly enough about this site.
Booking was swift and efficient, and we received our confirmation, pitch number and site information through the post.
The site is in a sheltered rural location, within easy reach of Wetherby and Harrogate, as well as many smaller towns. Note that reaching the site requires travelling a few miles along country lanes which are narrow in places. Caravanners should take note and plan accordingly. There is a large supermarket in Wetherby, which is about ten minutes away by car.
On arrival, we were guided over to our pitch and given a quick run-through of the facilities by a very friendly chap, who I later discovered used to live round the corner from where I grew up and was the father of two childhood friends. Small world, eh?
Pitches are firm, well maintained and well spaced. The site was full on our second night, yet was peaceful throughout and queues for the facilities were non-existent. Other campers were friendly and helpful, and we soon felt very much at home.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept tethered whilst on-site and don't cause a nuisance of themselves. Our 5yr old german shep loved the tranquillity so much she slept most of the weekend.
The toilets and showers are cleaned regularly, of an excellent standard and complimentary toiletries are provided. The washing up facilities are indoors and just as well looked after. A freezer is available in the washing up room for everyone to use.
The couple staying with us had a meal at the on-site restaurant, The Stables, and said that the food was wonderful although not cheap. Booking is essential, as the restaurant is favoured by local residents and only has 13 tables.
This site is ideal for adults wishing to leave the world behind and unwind in the peaceful surroundings that the Yorkshire countryside offers.
Had it not been for other commitments, we would certainly have extended our stay. I will definitely be booking again, albeit for a few more nights next time.
